It seemed like just yesterday
You were a part of me
You used to send love notes
And said you loved me
Years came and went
It seemed like an eternity
And in that gloriosus day
Where we were suppose to seal our lives forever
You never came
Was it something I did wrong
So many questions unanswered
Then I saw you with her
And its now that I understand
That you were in love with my best friend
And that when you looked at me, you were really looking at her
I always knew we looked alike in some ways
But was it so difficult to explain
Cause baby, now I'm in pain
And seen you with her, kills me a little beet more each day
I stand in the altar
The same one I once stood as a bride in a beautiful white wedding dress
Yet, today I stand as a viewer in a black dress
Watching as you bound your life with her's
Now tell me baby, why is life so unfair.
