Fragile Things

OK. This is my first story in the slash section.
I came up with it at work last night and I have no idea where it's going or if I should continue it.
So, please tell me what you think.

I don't have a beta so any mistakes are mine. Sorry.

Calen POV

Human lives are such fragile things.
I still remember the first time I heard that.
My name, at the moment, is Calen Torveen and I’m about 1350 years old.
It’s funny, what the mind will forget over time. For example, I don’t remember my real name or what my family looked like, but I do remember the first time I heard what I thought to be just a stupid sentence of pity. However, like so many other things. I was wrong about this, too.
When I first heard it I was...disoriented, to say the least. I had just woken and had been told a story that blew away all my beliefs. But, I’ll explain that later. What’s important for you to know now is that I was sent to the United States as an observer.
Observe what?
Well, to tell the truth...I don’t have a frigging clue. She said go, so I did. By she, I mean the most important person in my life: my Queen. Again, not important right now.
Just know that that’s why I was here, at first. And that I wasn’t thrilled about it.
Also, I was broke.
(She took away my bank card and all my credit cards but one. Bitch.)
Anyway, I was driving my car (which I bought with the last of my money) down the street of a small town who-knows-where when a dark figure suddenly ran out and collapsed in the middle of the road.
Well, shit.

Ayden POV

I lost count of the number of kicks and punches.
I couldn’t feel anything except pain.
After a while I realized the kicks and punches stopped. I uncurled slowly from my balled position and tried to sit up. After the third try I managed. I blinked and rubbed my eyes to clear them. I looked at my hands after, they were covered in blood.
I slowly, very slowly, tried to stand. Once I managed that, I wrapped my arms around my stomach, the pain overwhelming.
I stumbled a few steps, then everything faded into darkness.

Sorry it's so short. Especially Ayden's part.

Please Review and tell me if I should continue.
