What lies beyond

The door you closed?

There must be some secrets

That you’re begging to expose.

There’s something you’re not telling

And you’re keeping from me

I want to find things out from you

But you won’t lend me the key.

Tell me, what’s so secret?

Why do you choose to do this?

Our talks that we used to have

Now are something to reminisce.

Please tell me what’s on you mind?

What secrets lie inside your heart?

Or are you choosing to leave me there?

Are you really going to walk away

I search through all the doors

But you’ve closed so many in my face

I can’t find you anywhere

In this dark enclosed space.

It shouldn’t be this hard

To figure out where you are

You’re down too deep in your soul

And I can’t see you from afar.

You’re out of my sights

And you must want it that way

But if you ever need me remember

I’ll never be too far away.
