Behind These Eyes Lie The Truth
These are poems I wrote to express my emotions that I bottle up inside. Most of them are very dark and depression. Please tell me what you think about my poems.
Behind These Eyes Lie The Truth:
The pain runs to deep
There are no words to describe the hurt
There is only betrayal
And nothing stops the burning within my soul
Time flies by
And yet no one comes to stop me from falling
Only I can see the despair
For it is in my own forsaken soul
Do you know how long it has been
Can you hear the silent tears that fall down my face
Each tear brings more betrayal
No one sees the real me
No one will ever know
I hide myself behind a false illusion
It is better this way
Behind a mask lies a girl who wants to die
To die by my own hands would be a gift to one like myself
Do you understand your words only fuels the demon within
I can never be someone you want
This is me
And no one can see the truth behind these cold eyes
I show everyone what they wish to see
I hide behind a false smile
Does anyone see the smile is fake
To only live a lie
This is my confession that no one wants to hear from these lips
Here I am
Come for me and save this damn soul
Writing is all I have
For this pain can never be describe by words coming from my lips
It burns deep within this forsaken soul
Tell me what you think of me now
Is it what you want to hear
Or is this what you feared from me
I look upon faces that only burn my eyes
To see disappointment
Your words will never save me
Because it is your words that doom me from the start
Now you know the truth behind these eyes
