When the past and the present Collide

The Adventure Begins.
Journal Entry 71.
Week seven of our expedition to Egypt. I and my team have been here for only a moth and a half trying to find a lost piece of a puzzle that we found about 3 years ago while we were in the Valley of the Kings. As we walked through the tomb of Ramses the Great and as we passed through the corridor a small piece of stone tablet fell right on Michael’s head. So here we are now back in Egypt to try and solve the mystery of the tablet. Well we are moving to a different camp tonight. So I must end this here. I will not be able to write for two days.

Alexa sighed as she set her journal down. She took her glasses off the bridge of her nose. She laid back on to her air mattress and let the movement rest her mind as she thought about the tablet and why did it come to their group. A lot of people had been in that tomb and no one else had found it
“Thank Isis for Michael’s hard head” She laughed and looked up as she heard the tent flap open and Christopher poked his head in.
“Suppers up, so come on out before Michael eats it all” Alexa gently got up and made her way outside.
“So where are we moving to Chris” she asked as she sat down near the fire. And took the plate Chris handed her. Chris looked at her and shrugged
“I don’t know `lexa really I don’t Aaron said he would tell ya” Chris sat down and started to eat Alexa sat down silently waiting for Aaron to get back from the city,
“So Alexia have you you cracked the code yet on the tablet” Michael asked between mouthfuls. Alexa looked over at Michael
“not yet Michael I want to get settled onto the new camp before I get into it further” Alexa got up and put her plate down then went to head towards her tent , stopped and turned around
“plus it is not as easy as you think Michael unlike you I have a semi-normal life” Alexa then walked over to where Michael was sitting and Thwaped him then walked straight in to her tent and laid down and almost fell asleep until she felt the air mattress dip under another weight
“Hello Aaron love”
“`ey `lexa it’s time to get moving you just get into the jeep and sleep okay I will take care of every thing” Aaron said as he kissed her neck and got up to pack up their tent. Alexa got up and walked over to Aaron
“I can’t sleep I have to help you Love” she protested. Aaron looked at her and gave a smile and reached behind her head to neck and started to rub Knowing it would put her to sleep.
“no just go sleep, you’ve had rough lasts few days and you need to get rest so now go and get in that Jeep before I Pick you up and strap you into it my self he chuckled as he said the last part.
“Besides I Think I can handle taking our tent down and packing the stuff bye my self” Aaron pushed her out of the tent and into the jeep. Alexa sighed as she got in but as soon as her head hit the back of the seat she was asleep. Alexa woke up in a soft bed and looked around to see she was in a chamber of some sort and she was dressed in ancient Egyptian garments. She got up and walked to the dais and looked down at the garden and sighed. She was in this place again, where she was the ruler’s wife. She sighed as se went down to the Garden Plaza and sat down to a small breakfast and started to eat when a man who looked strangely like her husband Aaron sat down with her.
“Good morning my Queen did you sleep well?” he asked while taking a dish and getting food.
“I slept well Pharaoh” Alexa answered
“Good and as you know today we will meet with the Oracle of Horus to see when I will get a son” The Pharaoh explained
“Of course my Pharaoh anything you say” as Alexa answered she was brought back to the present. She rolled over and cuddled with Her Aaron.
“What’s wrong `lexa” Aaron inquired
“I had the dream again and you look good as a Pharaoh” Alexa replied as she moved her self so she was lying on his chest.
“You have to stop doing so much work and rest your poor mind of a while” Aaron replied kissing her gently.
“I can’t Aaron not till I figure out this tablet” Alexa sighed.
Alexa sighed and got up to get some food from the table before Michael ate it all. She walked out towards the light and looked to the Nile “Sweet Isis im glad to be home, so I give my self over to the power of the gods again” Alexa tilted her face to the sky and smiled as she felt the rays of the sun hit her face.
