I am the perfect doll
Sitting here in silence
My face a perfect mask
Skin the color of snow, pure and flawless
My lips, cold and blue as suffocation
Empty of all feeling and pride
My face is void of emotion
I’m just a broken doll
But you’ll never see it
My eyes alone tell of the pain I hold
Frozen in hatred I’ll never release
The world chipped at me day by day
Every time I let someone in
They tore me apart
Rapped, used, and left by those I cared for
I become cold
Then you came into my life
You were all I ever wanted
I saw in you my saving light
Had I found happiness at last?
You said you love me and would never leave me
Then you turned away and smashed the last piece of my soul
I cried the last of myself away
Was I not meant to love?
What had I done wrong?
I shut myself away to lock out the pain
I laid back and let you do as you pleased
I’ve lost my will to fight
And now I have become forever more
