BUS STOP
Pounding of the music, dancing, kids in the corner-out or getting high and people drinking just a typically normal night at a club. That is until I couldn’t find Emma, she had told me to meet her by the bar at 12:30, it was now 12:45 I started to worry, what could have happened to her? Was she ok? God where was she, I really didn’t want to walk to the bus stop not with all the kidnappings that had been happening in the area. 12:55 still no sing of Emma. I told the barman that if he saw Emma tell her I went home. I stepped out of the nightclub and onto the gravel path I pulled my leather jacket more round me and set off for the bus stop.
A small chill goes down my spine as the wind whips passed me almost deafening me as its roars in my ears. As the wind dies down I can hear cans rolling along the road and wind chimes on there front porches playing their songs. As I walk along the path I have to side step like a rugby player few times because of the rubbish and needles. I look around I think who in there right would put a nightclub here? It was all construction sites with some run down houses at the side, the plastic covering of the construction sites made nasty slapping sounds in the wind.
Rusty metal is everywhere one slip and I could be impaled or scratch myself and get tetanus. ‘CRASH’ what was that? I looked round my heart is going a mile a minute my feet are stuck to the ground. It’s just a cat. I sigh in relief. I start walking again but keep turning around encase someone is following me. The hair on the back of my neck was standing on end. I tripped-up on an abandoned bike, I look down at my leg and see a long bloody gash which was oozing blood. I tried to get up and fell to the floor hissing in pain as a burning sensation went through my leg. I get up using the wall as my support. Man this really hurts. I start limping to the bus stop using ledges, fire escapes, ladders anything I could find as my support. Could it get any worse? Just then it stared raining. Why did I open my big mouth?
After a few minutes of stumbling I reached a pub but because of my luck there where chaves outside. Lots of chaves. The chaves were by their cars with the radio booming techno music, showing off there latest car to everyone or showing off there new style like there in a cat walk show. The girls were wearing their usual uniform of small hoddies, second skin trousers and big fluffy boots. The boys with hoddies, tracksuits, trainers and cap the typical clothes of a chav, no style, no individualty, everyone following the leader. But if the leader went then they would be stuffed. As I limped passed them one shouts
“Yo Goth where’s your vampire boyfriend” they all laugh. I shout back
“He’s at your parents bleeding them dry” I laugh and walk on. When I played that moment back in my head I almost kicked myself, why didn’t I keep my mouth shut? Dumb adrenalin making me want to fight. I heard car doors slam, I look round and see them getting into there cars. Dammit. I start limping faster I pass the pub the doors open I almost scream I look round and see a young couple walk out laughing at each other. I start walking again I can hear an engine up the road behind me I know it’s them following me.
I turned a small corner and there it is, the magnificent bus stop. It is bathed in a golden light, or it could be my head playing tricks on me from blood loss. I reach the golden bus stop and sigh in relief when I sat down on the plastic benches. A few minutes later the chavs drive past me not noticing me in the bus stop idiots. As they pass I realise my hearts is pounding like mad and my breathing is shallow, my stomach felt like someone had knotted it and was pulling really hard. I must not of realise because of the pain. I felt someone sit next to me I jump as they touched my arm
“Sorry I didn’t mean to scare you I just wanted to ask are you ok your leg is bleeding quite bad” he said as he looked at my leg.
“I’ll be fine,” I say just above a whisper
“Um ok would you like help getting home its looks as if you are going to drop any minute” I look at him from what I could see he had midnight black hair with blue high lights, big light blue eyes that seemed as if they could see into your soul. I looked at his clothes he was wearing a long leather trench coat, black slacks, black t-shirt with a Celtic cross on, bid black boots and a necklace that looked like a crown with a key next to it.
I started to feel drozy and fell forward but before I cold hit the pavement I feel an arm go round me.
“Ok stay with me love where do you live you really need a doctor” he said holding me against his chest.
“My names not love its Anne” I said holding on to his t-shirt for warmth why is so god dammed cold?
“Ok lo-Anne you can call me Darren, where do you live” he said putting his arms round me noticing I was cold.
“Hells cross” I say almost falling unconscious. Just as he was going to ask the house number the bus arrived. He helps me on and to a seat then went to pay the fare.
“Is your girlfriend ok mate?” the bus driver asked
“Yeah she’ll be ok,” said Darren to the driver. Darren sat down next to me humming to himself. I was dozing off when I felt a sharp pain in my arm I look down a see a needle sticking out my arm. I looked at Darren and see him smirking.
“Wh-“
“Shhh love don’t want to alert the driver do we” he said his face smiling
I felt a tear roll down my cheek as I fell into unconscious.
