Half asleep

i own everything.

Half Asleep

It's like i am always half asleep
I walk through a daze
because if I am awake i do not think i could face the day
I always have a smile on
but the turmoil inside
is
eating away
all the cheer that resides
in me.
Don't get me wrong life is great
but what about my
Life Mate?
Will he be able to make me laugh?
Will he love me?
Will he protect me?
Will he let me be me?
Will I ever meet him?
If not then I would rather
Live my life
Half Asleep.
