The Trip that Changed it All

Disclaimer: I've been in a lustful mood for European men, especially Scots. So that's where Kaelin comes from. Aislyn is just a random girl whom I use in various places. Kindly do not take my story, and it would be -wonderful- to recieve reviews.

"I am a simple, one track girl, with chesnut hair and emerald eyes. I'm also a completely addicted writer, and I never stray too far from that which I am used to. My name is about the most unique thing I have, since not many people are named Aislyn."

I sigh and erase what I've written, because God knows that the information I just wrote was the most bleak thing in the whole universe. I close all of my online browsers and exit out of the document I was typing in, and get up from the computer desk. Walking across my beautiful wood floor barefoot and dressed only in a nightshirt and my undies, I head towards my bedroom. My flat, not too big but not too small, is located in a small town in Arizona and overlooks the city with the most beautiful view ever.

My phone rings as I walk into my bedroom, and sitting on my bed, I answer it.

"Oh my God! Aislyn are you getting ready to leave yet?!"

"No, Jamey. Give me a break would ya? It's only five."

"Yes. And your plane leaves at seven. GET READY! Gah. I'm on my way."

"All right, basket case."

She hangs up and I laugh at the phone, then taking off my nightshirt. Going to Scotland has been on the top of my list for years, and now that I finally get to go I'm starting to feel anxious. Ever since my teenage years I've dreamed of it, just walking around in the farmlands and just breathing in the fresh air...it screams writing opprotunity. I grab an outfit out of my closet, strategically chosen to draw guys, and get dressed while grabbing things to take with me.

Jamey arrives at around six-fifteen, and I'm ready and packed as she comes through my door.

"Told you not to rush me."

"Shut up. Are you ready? It takes about twenty minutes to get there."

"Yes, miss pushypants. Let me grab my laptop real quick and we'll be good."

[In Scotland]

Walking out of the airport, my jaw drops. It's even more beautiful than I thought, and this is the city. Jamey and I have a small house rented out in the Highlands, and no not the Highlander type of Highlands. Going towards our taxi, I obliviously drop a bag I was carrying, that was holding my writing.

"Uh, excuse me, yeh dropped your bag."

I turn to see who was speaking to me in the most sexy voice I had ever heard, and almost drop to my knees on the spot. God's best work ever was standing in front of me, at least six foot, with adorably curly dirty blonde hair and the brightest amber eyes I'd ever seen. I will admit that I subconsciously drooled a bit, but soon I was walking towards him as he was holding out my bag and picking up a few lost papers.

"Ah. You're a writer? These are very nice."

I google at him some more, taking my work from his large and strong-looking hands. They were my poems, some of them containing erotic descriptions, some of which he was reading. He looks up at me and smiles, and my knees turn to butter.

"What's your name?"

"Aislyn."

"Aye, that's a mighty unique name. You're American, I see. I'm Kaelin."

He holds out one hand and I shake it, using his weight to balance mine and keep myself steady. I put all of the lost papers back where they belonged and turned to go back to Jamey, but Kaelin coughed and made me turn back to him.

"Eh...would you be needin' someone to help you around?" He did not just ask that. Oh my.

"Well, that would be n-nice of you."

He nods and gestures towards the taxi, waiting for Jamey and I to get in. I push her in and she gives me a disgruntled look as Kaelin gets in beside me. I can feel the warmth of his body as he sits next to me, and I swear silently to myself that if I never write about him, I just may die.
