Oh, let me capture the blooms of love,
Their aromatic scent that forever,
Drifts about the whorls of my brain
Filling my days with passion, and longing.

Let me retain this sweet ecstasy,
That makes life worth living.

These blazing sun rays from my soul
That illuminate and make beauty eternal.
Do not let me lose this robin from his cage,
Taking with him my newfound wisdom.

Do not let me slip back towards the cold cynicism,

That makes rain "boring",
Grass "green",
And trees "not so tall",
That makes silence painful.

Stay in my mind, my dreams, my heart,
Where every sentence you utter is the most savoury poetry.

Your pockmarked face,
The abrasive surface that keeps me flushed and reeling.
Do not fail me.

I've prepared you a pristine, cystal vase of my skin,
Filled with the purest spring water of my tears,
Right before a window where, my love,
Shall always fall upon you,

In soft, warm shafts of light,
From the burning mass that is my heart.

Do not fail me now,
Loves sweet flowers.
I'm only asking you to deny your nature,
To stop the winter season.

I'm only asking you to stay.
