Chapter 1
The loud but pleasant chatter of the crowd filled the streets and the city's park as the citizens picked out a spot and layed out their blankets over the grass. The evening air was a bit chily, but a bit warmer than it had been. Tonight was the coming of springtime, and was a celebrated event in this corner of the world. Parades, fairs, and a night of fireworks were the usual on this day.
A young man, apparently without his family, spread out a small blue blanket on the grass and plopped down. He dug around in his bag and pulled out a stale bisquit to munch on, and a pad of paper to doodle on. He was bundled up against the cool weather, clad in pants, a wool sweater, and a knit hat that covered most of his disheveled platinum blonde hair.
From deep within the shadows of the trees, far behind the array of people, a vampire stalked out his prey. He moved silently, his booted feet not even crackling a single leaf or stray twig upon the ground. The night was his time. He prowled the shadows, picking off humans in his mind. All of the people he saw would have been easy prey had they not have been with their families or friends. This season of celebration was always troublesome for him, but he had to feed. Usually he would wait until the day after, but something had called him on this night.
Prowling a bit further, he was able to see the young man sitting all on his own. The man's lips curled in a dangerous smile. His deep blue eyes, like electric fire, sparkled. However, they were just as concealed by the deep shadows as his blonde hair was. Slowly emerging from the shadows that seemed to cling to him like lovers, he cloaked himself in stealth. Any gaze that fell upon him would immediately be turned away, as if he were nothing to see. He could outright kill someone and noone would notice.
The boy had been quietly chewing and sketching with a cheap, 2 penny pencil when the little hairs rose on his neck. Not from the cold, no...even though he really did dislike the cold. There was something approaching, he could feel its malicious presence.
The boy's attention immediately snapped up and he looked around, icey blue eyes scanning the people around him. He swallowed the half-chewed bite hard, his heart beating fast as he sat alert.
The vampire had quickly dodged out of sight and came up right in front of the boy on all fours, nearly right on top of the poor thing. "Well, hello there..."
Upon closer inspection of this boy, Blaine sensed something. He wasn't sure of what. Something about this boy was precious. It tugged at his heartstrings for a split second before being overcome by bloodlust. That neck... it was so perfect. The man's fangs elongated to outrageous proportions, the tips resting well past his lower lips, forcing his mouth open, giving his appearance a malicious, hungry look. His eyes danced like a vampire that had not feasted in days.
The boy's eyes widened at the sudden appearance of the vampire. He fell back on his elbows at the sight of the other's lethal looking fangs, and then turned in an attempt to scramble away. His heart pumped frantically as it filled with adrenaline, pumping that sweet blood quickly to his scrambling limbs.
The man growled deeply, his lips finally closing somewhat as he grabbed the boy none too gently by the wrists and pinned him down. Just to be sick, and not able to resist the feeling, he pressed a hard kiss to the boy's lips, then allowed his tongue to travel upwards along his cheek.
Several people walked past, but none would notice what was going on. If they looked, they would have only seen an apparently abandoned towel along with the boys possesions that he had brought with him.
The boy writhed and flailed beneath the vampire, desperate to get away. He cried out as the vampire licked him, and cried out for help. His fair skin, even though mostly concealed, reeked pheramones, which wouldn't help the boy's situation at all. This happened because he had not...fed...in a while now. This boy was not human, and the black ink that began leaking from the corners of his eyes proved this.
The vampire suddenly tasted the tears and practically leapt back. The taste of those tears shocked him so much that he regained his senses, his bloodlust totally gone. "Oh dear gods...." he whispered to himself. He was about to... The thought of what he was about to do to the boy who was definitely not what he seemed horrified him. A split second later, he raced off into the night. He didn't go far, but he had dropped his stealth somewhere along the line. From the shadows of the trees, he shook as he watched the boy. He had been about to murder and incubus. About to go against his own race's law... He had just about gone against everything he had ever felt was right.
He continued to watch the boy, concerned for him. He was going to make sure that he got home alright. He would make sure this boy wasn't harmed. Although... he wasn't quite sure why he was doing these things...
Murder an incubus, and a very young one at that. This one was probably only 15, maybe 16 years of age. The laws had been created a while ago to protect the incubus race who had come to almost near-extinction for being overhunted. Their sweet, aphrodisiac taste made them desireable playmates, but most hadn't been able to stand up to the vampires' roughness and power. These days, the incubus race was just beginning to recover, and this boy was proof of this, being so young.
The terrified boy wasted no time in grabbing his sketchbook and running for his life. He did believe the vampire had only left to toy with him, like a cat does with a mouse, but he didn't care. He was going to try his best to get away, not give in without a fight. He ran full-speed straight to his modest flat on the third floor of the building. His chest heaved with the effort of catching his breath as he slammed the door behind himself and slumped down against it. He wiped his black tears away on his sleeve, the terror of what just happened making him tremble violently. And the danger probably wasn't over.
The vampire followed him, still intent on making sure he was alright. What he hadn't counted on was for his own feet to take him up to the balcony of that third floor where the young boy was staying. Silently, he cursed himself and watched the boy go about keeping out of sight, not by using his stealth, but by hiding in the shadows and around the corner of the window. Watching him wipe his tears away brought a nearly painful tug on his heartstrings. He flinched. The last time he had felt something like that was long long ago. Nearly two centuries ago. He'd be damned if he had to feel it again. ~I must make this boy happy,~ he thought to himself as he continued to watch him. At the least he had made it back to his home alright. He couldn't understand why he couldn't just walk away. The gods knew though and his faith had never wavered in them. He would remain and play out this little scene the gods had created for him.
After a few minutes that dragged out like a lifetime, the boy finally got up from where he'd been sitting against the door. That vampire couldn't get to him in here...didn't they have to be invited first? At least, that's what the stories said. Casting wary glances at the windows, Novus cautiously and quietly made his way through the small room and into his room. He closed his curtain as far as it would go(however, the thing was tattered so it couldn't close all the way), and removed his shirt and sweater, hot from the exertion of running home. He sat on his bed, not facing the window as he still tried to forget about the vampire...he would be fine now, he told himself. He started doodling in his small sketchbook again, the slender muscles in his scarred back flexing slightly as he moved. The scars were long, thin, and criss-crossed all the way down his back. Then, only about as big as a small cup saucer was a brand of the character for "demon" burnt into his skin. The mark didn't seem recent...it was a little faded.
The vampire followed him, looking in through the window on the balcony. He peered in through a few different tatters in the curtains until he could get a good view without being noticed. When his eyes fell on that scarred back his mouth dropped and he couldn't contain the words that stumbled from his mouth. "Who in all the hells would do that to such a beautiful creature...?" He quickly clasped a hand over his mouth and searched for a place to hide. There was none, save the long drop below. "Shit...."
The young incubus whirled around at the faint sound of the vampire's voice. He hadn't heard exactly what he had said however. "Get away from me!!!" he yelled, baring his teeth even thought they weren't threatening being as dull as a human's teeth. The whites of his eyes turned black in his anger and fear. He felt as if death itself were stalking him.
The vampire jumped and then spun around frantically, searching for a way out of this that didn't require personal injury. Finding none, he sighed. He faced the window again and spread his hands apart, holding the backs of his hands together as if he were parting something. As his hands moved, the curtains parted and he could see the young incubus clearly. The man dropped his arms and stood there looking at the incubus plainly, as if he had nothing to hide and no desire to hurt him.
The boy backed up until he was on the other side of his bed. He almost fell off. "Go away....I won't let you in!" he shouted, hands clutching at his meager bedcovers so hard his knuckles turned white.
The vampire continued to stand there, looking at the young boy rather like a confused dog. He really wanted to convey that his desires had changed. He no longer wanted to hurt the poor thing, but to rather... maybe, just maybe, take care of him. He wanted to make sure this young, beautiful creature was given the treatment that he deserved. "No one deserves to be treated this way, little one," he said plainly. His voice was deep and luring like water. A slight hypnotic tone to it was only there given the fact that he was an older vampire. He didn't mean it to be there, but he went along with it nonetheless. Maybe it would calm the young one down.
The young demon was no match for the elder vampire's power, even though the vampire had not intentionally used it. The boy immediately calmed. "What...why...." he asked, looking slightly dazed, but no longer angry. A little bit of fear still lingered behind his eyes, however.
The vampire sighed audibly and lowered his gaze. "I'm not sure why. I feel a strange need to protect you. I'm drawn to you for some... unknown reason." He glanced around then looked back at the boy. "Would you let me in, little one? I promise, on everything that I own, including my soul, that I will not harm you." He looked hopeful on the edge of being desperate. "Besides... It is quite chilly out here."
Chilly...yes, the young one disliked the cold. He should help the other out of the cold. He got up and strode over to the window, opening it for the vampire as an invitation to come in. His hands shook as he did so, that intense fear sitting just right beneath his skin, right beneath the hypnoticism.
The vampire stepped into the room gracefully, almost as if he were floating. He looked around. Definitely noting the scarred back of the little one and the condition the curtains were in, he surmised that this was not a pleasant household. "Tell me, little one, are you harmed here? Do the people you live with not take care of you properly?" he asked, genuine concern lacing his voice.
The boy sat back down on his bed, hands in his lap. "We are poor...and it is not my family. They adopted me when I was about 8 years old. ...They tell me I am evil, a demon...and it's true," he said, voice filled to the brim with despair. He shook a little, rubbing at his eyes. "I do evil horrible things, but I can't help it...and then I get beaten for it," he confided in the vampire, rubbing at his eyes some more as they slowly began to leak those inky black tears again.
The vampire sighed and began to inspect the house a little further. He turned back to the boy and spoke matter-of-factly. "You are coming with me, little one. These living conditions are hazardous to you. With me, you will be protected from all evils, human and non." The vampire at this point made a huge effort to drop the hypnoticism that he lived with on a day to day basis. He wanted this little one to see how truthful he was being. "My name is Blaine, little one. I live in the mansion upon the western hill overlooking the village. I have plenty of ways to keep you safe, and you being safe is my only current desire." He paused. "... Do you trust me?"
The young demon stared at Blaine with wide, ink-stained eyes. Why had he let him in...? He couldn't remember clearly. But there was no point in trying to run now...the vampire would easily stop him. "B-but...everyone says that it's haunted...that you steal people away and take them there, and they're never seen again..." he pointed out, shivering a little at the terror of the idea.
Blaine scratched the back of his head, a little uneasy now. "Sure they are... They just... aren't seen by humans anymore. I don't necessarily take humans back to my home to kill them. That's insanity. I take them there to offer them new life. I turn people more than I kill them, little one. Killing... has become more cumbersome for me than turning." He hesitated again. "So, do you trust me or not?"
No, the young demon did not trust this man. However, he did not want to stay where he was...perhaps he had some small hope that maybe Blaine actually was trustworthy, and wanted to take care of the boy like he claimed. No matter what the truth was here, the boy would rather take the risk and go with the vampire than await the return of his adoptive father. "...I can't say I really trust you, no...but I'll go with you. I can't bear to remain here any longer..."
"Good," Blaine replied. "We'll go as soon as you're ready." He turned to do something then stopped up short and turned back around. "By the way, I'm afraid you never told me your name."
The boy hesitated. Wasn't there something about how you weren't supposed to give a vampire your name....the young demon couldn't remember.
"My name is Novus," the boy told Blaine, looking confident and dignified, as if his name were the only thing about himself he felt proud over.
"Novus... Alright then, little one, get packed. I guess I'll leave a note for your family letting them know that I have taken you and not to come looking for you." With that, he turned and began writing the note. At the end, he wrote a P.S. "If you do come looking for him, you will learn why people are never seen again after visiting my mansion."
Novus busied himself with packing as he was told. It didn't take long however...he didn't have that many possessions. A few outfits, his sketchbook and penny pencils, a meager secret stash of money and a silver locket he all placed in a shoulder bag. "Okay...I'm ready to go," Novus told Blaine, trying his best to sound brave, or even just neutral. But that bit of fear and uncertainty lingered in his tone.
Blaine nodded and gently led him out of the apartment via the stairwell. He was sure that Novus wouldn't like to jump straight down three stories. Truth be told, he wasn't too fond of jumping from that height either. So instead he just led Novus out of the building the old fashioned way. Once outside, Blaine stopped to gain his bearings then continued to lead Novus with a hand placed gently in between the young one's shoulders.
Novus walked along willingly, but a bit slowly. He glanced around at everything he was leaving behind. In the distance the thunderous booms of the fireworks could be heard, along with the 'oooos' and 'aaaaahs' of the crowd at the park. The young incubus was scared, but at the same time...hopeful, that he was walking into a new, better life.
Blaine led Novus with a slight smile as if the night had proven to be more plentiful than he could have imagined and all the thoughts were just trying to settle in. He glanced down at Novus once and continued along to his mansion, taking shortcuts that he knew so well. A few short minutes later, he was leading Novus up the path to his large mansion. The whole time, he had been unaware of the many eyes that had followed him. Some were curious and many, many others had been jealous.
Novus swallowed hard. The mansion was still scary to him...even more so now that he was seeing it without the light from the sun to dispel the shadows. "Do...do you live alone, Blaine...?" he asked, voice a little shaky. He glanced up quickly at the vampire, his ice-blue eyes flashing momentarily before he quickly brought his gaze down again.
Blaine nodded. "Indeed, I do live alone here. It wasn't always so, but I've made a few enemies along the way." He looked down at Novus. "You don't have to be so scared, little one. I promise not to hurt you. I've brought you here to ensure your survival. Many vampires, like myself, would seek you out for your blood. Some would keep you as a pet. This is not my will. I've brought you here so that you may live." Blaine entered his mansion. "Many would be foolish to enter here. There are countless vampires that would desire to break in and steal you. However, they would need my permission before entering. You are quite safe here." It was true, his mansion was better than any fortress. Rumors kept the humans away from it and age-long enchantments kept unwanted visitors from entering. Blaine knew how to safeguard anything.
After a slight pause Novus nodded, his mind turning what Blaine said over and over again inside his head. Maybe this man...no, vampire...really was telling the truth. Novus relaxed a little, starting to trust the other, because he had no other choice. He wanted to believe, oh so desperately, that Blaine really did mean what he was telling him. the young demon kept close to the vampire's side, his dark aura subconciously brushing against and lapping at Blaine, almost curling around him.
Blaine felt this and wrapped his arm around Novus's shoulders on instinct. Blaine inwardly chuckled and hoped the young one didn't turn away from his touch. He pointed to a door, off to the side. "That leads down into the cellar. From the cellar, it then leads down to my coffin. That's where I sleep. You may travel anywhere you please inside of this mansion save for that one room." He slowly led Novus up the massive staircase that led to the second floor. It had a large balcony at the top with several doors along the wall that led to various bedrooms and bathrooms. "Has your unease lessened any, little one?"
"Yes....a bit," Novus told Blaine, voice a little quiet but more confident sounding. He glanced around himself with awe, his pouty lips parted slightly. "...Where...which room would I be staying in?" he asked, turning his gaze upwards at Blaine, eyes innocent in their youth, but dark and mysterious in their fathomless depths.
Blaine turned to Novus, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Any room you please, little one. My home is yours now." Failing to resist his urges, Blaine bent down and placed a soft kiss on Novus's lips. He'd been aching to do this for quite some time now.
Novus blinked and took a step back, a little shocked at the vampire's actions. His fingertips lightly touched his own lips as his eyes stared into Blaine's. "You kiss me..." he said, voice carrying mixed emotions. He was a little intimidated/scared, for the scenario of how they had first met earlier was still fresh in his mind. But he also sounded intrigued...as if he wondered what further pleasures such kisses could bring.
Blaine nodded. "I couldn't help myself. I had to have a taste." With that, he bent down and kissed Novus again, completely drawn in. To him, the contact of mere lips went through Blaine like a liquid fire, something he hadn't felt in centuries.
Novus blinked again, but did not step back as those lips closed in on his. Men had kissed him before...but nothing as soft, as alluring as this. Novus could feel the power that lurked right beneath Blaine's skin, not far beneath the surface at all. The young demon slid his tongue past the vampire's lips and into his mouth, giving him quite a deep kiss as he tasted that dark soul. He lapped at it hungrily, but could not take it, no. He was not powerful enough to take a soul with just a kiss.
Blaine swept his tongue around Novus's mouth, wanting to really deepen the kiss and get the chance to better explore this young incubus whom he had become attached to in so short a time.
Novus shrugged off the no longer needed coat. He returned Blaine's kiss with one of own, on Blaine's lower lip. He lightly swayed his hips against Blaine's, every once in while pressing forward a bit more.
Blaine groaned deeply and wrapped his arms tightly around Novus's waist, pressing him to him. He pushed his hips forward, so Novus could feel just how hard he was making him.
A whimper escaped Novus's full, sensuous lips, but not from fear or pain. His thin flannel pajama pants made it quite obvious what he had done to Blaine. The same began happening to him, and he raised one leg a little to stroke Blaine with his inner thigh. One of his hands played at Blaine's stomach, soft fingertips tracing his belly button.
Blaine shivered and moaned, kissing Novus deeper. He cupped Novus's ass and held him to him. He dropped his hands a bit lower, to Novus's thighs, and easily picked him up and began to carry him up the stairs to Blaine's room. He never broke his hold on Novus's mouth.
Novus wrapped his arms around Blaine's neck, starting to mew and whine a little from need. He rocked his hips a bit against Blaine as they climbed the stairs. He gasped for breath whenever he could between those deep kisses, and even bit his own tongue a little to give Blaine a taste.
Blaine moaned deeply and curled his own tongue around Novus's. He sucked on it, soon realizing it was only a taste, and barely more. He reminded himself that there'd probably be more where that came from later. He kicked open the door to his gigantic, spacious bedroom and leaned Novus and himself over on the king sized matress. He kissed him deeply, being over Novus giving him more leverage.
Novus arched his back, giving Blaine a close embrace. He again stroked the underside of Blaine's tongue with his own, like he'd done earlier at his own house. One of his hands wandered, finding its way down Blaine's stomach and under the hem of Blaine's trousers, caressing what it found there.
Blaine shuddered and moaned deeply. He shoved his tongue deeper, pressing it close to Novus's throat. He balanced himself on one hand and expertly undid Novus's pants and slid his cold hand in and caressed Novus back.
Novus was thankful he had no gag reflex, but he did hiss at Blaine's cold touch. It was uncomfortable at first, but he found himself getting used to it. Novus wiggled out of his own shirt, then rested his hands above his head, stretching out his torso. He pushed his hips upwards a little, into Blaine's caresses.
Blaine, in response, rubbed Novus a little harder and faster. He finally pulled away from Novus's mouth to blaze a trail of wet kisses up and down his throat. He gently nibbled and licked along his pulse.
Novus panted a little, turning his head to the side. He gripped the bed covers and arched his back. "...Blaine...," he pleaded, voice barely above a whisper as goosebumps covered his skin briefly.
Blaine gently bit Novus's neck, not allowing himself the pleasure of actually piercing the flesh just yet. In a split second, the rest of their clothes disappeared and reappeared neatly folded and in their respective piles on an old antique dresser. Blaine let go of Novus and replaced his hand with his own swollen member.
Novus closed his eyes and whimpered. He wrapped his smooth legs around Blaine while arching to bring himself closer. He freed his hands from the bedcovers and ran them over Blaine's hair and shoulders, tracing the muscles with his fingertips.
Blaine shivered gently and moaned softly. He dropped his waist down and lightly dragged the tip of his head against Novus's tiny opening. Blaine bent down again and scraped his teeth against the pulse in his neck. He licked it to soothe the scrape.
Novus inhaled sharply at the different touches. The muscles in his body tightened, then relaxed into a shudder. He was now far from being afraid of Blaine now, and even though he was the incubus, Blaine's lust completely took control of his own. Novus wanted to give all of himself to Blaine, his "savior", if that was a correct word for it. Novus had nowhere else to go.... Here, Blaine offered shelter and protection from other threats.
The fingers of one of Novus's hands tangled in the back of Blaine's hair, holding Blaine to his neck. His fingers caressed, encouraging Blaine to take what he wanted.
Blaine, having lost control of his sense of where, who, and what he was, gently bit into Novus's neck. At the same time he pushed himself in slowly, moaning deeply at the tightness. His mind was one giant whirl from both his physical and emotional sensations. He forced himself to take pause for Novus's benefit before going on.
Novus whimpered, but that suddenly escalated into a a yelp at the double dose of pain that was strangely mixed with pleasure. He groaned and squirmed a little under Blaine, one hand still tangled in Blaine's hair, and the other dug its nails into Blaine's shoulder.
Blaine, due to Novus's yelp, came fully back to his senses and let go of Novus's neck after sealing the bite. He kissed it gently. He pulled away from his neck to give Novus a soft kiss to try and ease his mind a little. He wasn't sure it was going to work but he decided to give it a try anyways. He felt a strange emotion as he faced Novus. It confused him, but he put the thought from his mind for the time being and focused his attention on Novus, trying his hardest to ease the discomfort for him.
Novus calmed a little, and then relaxed. A moment of panic had hit him but he was feeling better now that Blaine had eased up on his neck. His breathing was heavy. Novus's mouth found Blaine's, and he sucked at Blaine's lower lip.
Blaine arched his back and slowly began to buck. He took his time and tuned his senses in with Novus. The long-buried sensations Novus managed to draw out of Blaine astounded him. Feelings of pleasure, actual sexual pleasure, and not just of blood-lust were the strongest at the moment. He knew, however, once this was over, the pleasure would turn into love. Something he hasn't felt since he was turned several centuries ago. He wondered if the boy had given him a soul or if he had awoken a long dormant creature. Perhaps it was another: What if this young one had finally quieted the raging beast that had consumed Blaine's being? No matter how hard he tried to put it from his mind, he was unable to. But, the thoughts only made his passion burn brighter. He picked up his pace a few notches as a result.
Novus gasped and moaned, eyes half-lidded from pleasure. Novus had been with men before, but it had all been forced upon him at the brothel houses. What Blaine gave him was almost completely new. Novus tugged at Blaine's soul, tasting it, but not taking it. At least he had that much control over his powers as an incubus. Novus arched sharply towards Blaine, rocking his hips in counter rhythm to Blaine's movement.
Blaine gasped and panted. He bucked harder and faster into Novus, careful not to hurt him. He felt the tugging at his soul, and instead of being fearful, it only heightened his pleasure. He grunted a few times and dipped his mouth back to Novus's neck, where he laid a gentle nibble.
His skin was so sensitized now that even this small touch caused Novus to cry out. His fingers dug into Blaine's back as he shuddered. "Aah...! Blaine....!!" Novus moaned loudly as he approached his climax moment.
Blaine pulled away slightly to grit his teeth together. He panted and grunted through them, reaching his climax moment as well. He started shivering, the sensations running through his body were stronger than any he had ever felt before. He felt himself reach his point of pleasure in waves and threw his head back, moaning so deeply, a low roar came out.
Novus yelled out at the sensation of Blaine releasing that warm, white fluid inside of him. Quickly after, Novus released as well, most of it getting on Blaine's lower stomach. Just then Novus found himself tugging hard at Blaine's soul almost automatically. He fought it again, not taking Blaine's soul, but only tasting it.
After he had released everything he could into the young incubus,
Blaine gently dug his teeth into Novus's neck, taking only what he needed after such an exhausting session. He pulled away after a few seconds to smile softly at Novus. Here was no vampire. Blaine seemed almost human during this display of warm affection.
Novus remained where he was, his chest heaving to catch his breath. A light sheen of sweat covered his skin and soaked the hair around his ears and neck. Novus lay there, legs still spread but relaxed, blue eyes studying Blaine's smiling face.
Blaine slowly bent down and kissed him. He pulled back quickly though. "Was I too rough for you little one?" His voice is husky with emotion and a bit sharp from worry.
Novus blinked his long blonde lashes and swallowed. "Only a little...but don't worry yourself over it...I've had much worse..." he confided, then turned his face away. "...I'm sorry I couldn't...be a virgin for you..."
Blaine rolled them over and held Novus close to him "I don't care. You think I'm a virgin? Hell no. I wouldn't have survived. Just to know that I didn't hurt you is fine by me. Now, don't trouble yourself, little one. You must be tired." He kissed the top of his head.
Novus blinked, looking at Blaine. Then he nodded. "Yes...I'm very tired..." he said, yawning. There were only a couple hours left until dawn. His breathing had calmed back to normal, his fingers sleepily playing at the skin of Blaine's chest.
Blaine rolled over just enough to set Novus gently against the pillows. He carefully tugged the covers over the young incubus's body and kissed his forehead. Outside he could see a pale pink over the horizon. "You'll be fine in here, but I have to go down into the basement and sleep in my coffin. I wouldn't want you to go down there, for seeing me asleep, you may mistake me for dead. I wouldn't want you to be scared in your own home." He backed off the bed slowly as though he didn't want to leave Novus in there by himself. "I'll close the curtains if you wish."
"Yes, please close the curtains," Novus said, and even offered Blaine a small smile.
His own home...
So it really was his home now, he'd be staying here.

~Again, I tell you, this is an original work with original characters. Novus belongs to my co-writer, Blaine belongs to me. I will have it submitted into the proper categoy ASAP, so please, bear with me.
