Disclaimer: This takes place in my own world, with my own characters. It's a very fictional place. ^^;; All characters/animals/some foods created by me and do not exist. I own them. Thank you. By the way, I'm not sure how many of the warning will actually be in here, I just picked out the ones I usually use.

This is my first entry here, sorry if it's short and junk.

Hotare and his smaller brother, Kayane were led up to their new master's bedroom, Kayane screaming to be let go. Hotare'd protect his brother. He wouldn't let anyone hurt him. Besides, they were only to be inspected and given jobs, right? That was all, right? No touching or hitting. He ran up closer to his younger brother and walked closer to him. If something was going to happen, he wouldn't be far away. He could protect him.

Hotare took the moment to inspect his surroundings. It wasn't anything extravagant. Probably just a lord or something. There'd only been one floor they'd walked up to get here and he'd seen stairs leading down to the basement, most likely the servant's quarters and dungeons. The older brother blew his brown bangs from his feminine face. He'd been told his features would get him into trouble but he didn't understand how. Hotare didn't understand how much trouble he'd soon be in.

The man that was leading them to his lord's room stopped suddenly, causing the curious Hotare to bump into him and jump back into a defensive position. To his surprise, the guard didn't even seem to notice let alone say a word to acknowledge he'd done anything wrong. He merely knocked on the door he'd stopped in front of and smirked with mild amusement when he heard the older boy hush his brother.

"Enter," a voice from inside commanded. They'd obviously been waiting. They'd been waiting for Hotare and Kayane. It sounded like a man. Hotare began to run things over in his mind.

Their pale bodies were dressed only in fine silk. Why? Was it a kind master they'd received? Maybe it was someone who'd known their former masters and was sending the boys back. Maybe they'd finally be going home. When the guard opened the door, revealing a dark-skinned man sitting at his desk, Hotare got a feeling that his hopes weren't true.

The older brunette stepped closer to his brother and held a leg out in front of him, trying to show their new master that he wouldn't let his little brother get hurt only in a single gesture. He seemed to get it for the time being because all he did was turned back to his paper work.

Hotare finally took his eyes off the back of his new master's head and looked around the room. Dull, old looking tapestries hung on the walls making it impossible to tell the color of the wallpaper. They all depicted what looked like the Great War. He squinted a bit at the lettering on one. Customary to kingdoms of magic users. He didn't know which one this was but he knew to expect anything from the black haired demon sitting only a few feet from the boys. He glanced at his brother. The two of them could easily be mistaken as twins, and they had before, although they were a few years apart from each other. They each had bright green eyes, a rarity for any race especially mortals, long, wavy brown hair, and pale skin.

"Names." The icy, demanding voice jerked Hotare from his thoughts. He looked around for the source before realizing it was their new master speaking.

"I-I...er....My name is Hotare...a-and....m-my little brother is K-Kayane." Hotare fought to regain his senses and gave away what he believed a fatal secret. This new man could use their relationship against either of them. He couldn't let that happen. "I--" He started but was interrupted by the man.

"That was all I asked." The obviously older man looked back for only a moment before returning to whatever he was working on.

The older boy turned back to look at his brother, tugging at his own chains. He wanted to be able to hold him...to comfort him. The boy hadn't spoke once to him since they'd been captured and Hotare was worried about him. He was afraid that for some reason Kayane blamed his older brother for their capture. Hotare knew he needed someone to blame but...it wasn't either of their faults. They were drugged and taken away.

"You are the ones then" Their enigmatic master again spoke. Hotare was getting very tired of getting lost in his thoughts and interrupted. Wait....what did he mean by 'The ones'? What ones? The older brother delved into his memory, trying to recall anything special they'd both done to catch this lord's attention. A magical lord. What'd they done?

"I'm sure you're wondering who I am? What I mean by that?" The black haired demon finally turned towards the boys and stood, looking them over. "All I really have to say is welcome home." He nodded a bit, a look of recognition written all over his features.

While Hotare was trying to think of how he knew their new master, Kayane stepped away from his brother. "Home? This isn't home. We were just taken from our home." He spat, growling a bit. He wasn't going to sit by and watch this anymore. His brother was checking this place out and not saying a word. Not demanding to know a thing. He was just going to LET this happen! He was going to let them be taken away from their lovers and screwed! Yes, that's most likely what was going to happen with the way this man was checking them out.

The dark haired man looked Kayane over with mild interest and shook his head. "Actually you were taken from your home a long time ago." He ran a hand through his hair and smirked. "Since you don't seem to remember me, my name is Siol. But to you, of course, it's Master."

Hotare perked up a bit then shook his head. He'd thought maybe he'd heard the name before but he lost whatever bright moment he had the moment it'd arrived. He glared at him a bit but didn't say anything, only glanced at Kayane, shaking his head, signaling him to be quiet and hoping he'd get the message.

Kayane snorted a bit and shook his head. "MY Master is back where I belong. I don't know about Hotare." He growled a bit when his brother shot him a look but went quiet anyway.

Siol tapped his chin, deep in thought and shook his head. "You've changed a lot, Kayane. Last I saw you two didn't fight as much. As far as you two are concerned, your lovers are dead. They won't come to get you. Either of them. Now....let me see how much you've changed under your clothes, boys."
