What if you were given the chose to be a vampire or a werewolf what would you do?
My best friend Nick was bitten at eighteen by her now ex boyfriend. And well the vampire is my boyfriend Rhys he wouldn’t tell me his exact age because he stopped keeping count after one hundred. Nicole and me had always played games were we would pretend to be werewolves and vampires. She always liked being the werewolves while I liked both.
Now the chose lies at my feet and I don’t know what to do.
Nick wants me to be with her always but she's afraid to hurt me like when we play rugby or soccer so we haven’t played it in a year. We played two months after she changed and she slammed into me when I was going to score and she broke my leg.
Then there’s my boyfriend I have been dating Rhys for two years and there the best two years of my life. We do everything and anything together. I even follow his lead and sleep during the day and stay up all night.
I don’t know anymore. I own a restaurant Rozenwyn and a skateboard shop called Devil Monkey.
The restaurant is my venture with Rhys. He opened it a couple months before dating. That’s how we met I when to go apply as Executive Chef. Then after I saw the place I knew I wouldn’t take no for an answer I was there ever night bugging him until he hired me as his Chef and partner. He liked the way I wouldn’t leave him alone with out a answer.
Devil Monkey is Nick and my skate shop. We came up with the concept when we were in grade ten in high school. Took out a few loans after we finished college. And the busiest skate shop ever was born. We sell everything from Fling Pooh t-shirts to glowing condoms. We have three shops and one more on the way. There’s one in Victoria, California, New York and the newest one is going in Florida.
I do most of DM paper work and the hiring and firing of people. Nick handles all of the merchandise and the locations. She flies a lot.

“Rhys quit it I’m trying to sleep.”
“I can’t help it Kris when I wake up I want to be with you.”
“Please let me sleep…..Please” I looked at him and pouted.
“Why???? We have to get up soon and you have to go tell the cooks the menu for tonight as well as we have a date later too. You should be getting ready.”
“Leave me alone the sun isn’t even down yet. How can you wake up this early anyway you a vampire should you wake up after dark?”
“I’m old enough I can control when I wake up as long as I get seven hours sleep.”
“I guess that just means I ‘m going to have to keep you up late tonight so that I can sleep in tomorrow.” I said while grinning.
Rhys moved closer to my body and buried his face into my neck. Nipping at it lightly.
“Quit it that tickles. I’m getting up ok?”
“Maybe I don’t want to go get up now” he said huskily
“Oh no you don’t you can wait till later I have to get ready to now” I said and started to pull away from him and sat up on the king size bed. “I’m going to go have a shower. Just lay back and relax ok?”
“I’ll wait for you to come out but I can’t promise I’ll be relaxing I have to do some paper work for the restaurant that I didn’t get a chance to do last night.”
“Ok. I’ll be back” I said as I kissed him on the forehead as got up I got up and walked to the bathroom.
The black bathroom tiles we cooled on my feet. I tried to walk on the different mats to get away but I didn’t really work it was still cooled. I stood on the black bathmat and turned on the shower so that the water could warm up while I got undressed. I pulled off my silk boxers that I had stole from Rhys and my surfing t-shirt and climbed into the shower.
