Chapter One
"Christian"
A young girl stepped out of her room, a girl named Christian. Her dark brown hair flew in front of her sea green eyes, and she pushed it out of the way. "Don't call me that" she said to the person she was speaking to "Call me Chris". Taliffaro, or Tal for short, smiled at her then he took her hand. "You look beautiful" he said, kissing her hand, it made Chris flush with flattery. Chris looked into Tal's eyes when he stood back up, he was pretty tall, about 5 feet, 8 inches, and his hair was jet black, fading to silver at the ends. Chris thought he was a pretty handsome guy, and she had a crush on him since the day they first met. Now, he had the honor of taking her to this ball, not wanting to see her without a date. "Well... we're going to be late" Chris said at last "So, we have to go!". Then, surprisingly, she took his hand, which even surprised herself, she pulled away instantly. "Sorry" she said softly, feeling embarassed "I didn't mean to". Tal shook his head, waving it off "It's nothing" he said, taking her hand as they walked out the door "I really mean it".

Tal watched Chris walk gracefully through the ball room door. Her lavender dress fanned beautifuly around her legs, and it fit her frame perfectly. He took her hand, kissing it once again, then gazed into her eyes. "Ready to dance?" he asked, as the other couples reported to the middle of the room. "Sure" Chris said softly, Tal could see that she had a slight flush to her cheeks, and he knew she hadn't put any makeup on. They walked together to the center of the ballroom, and gently, Tal put his arms around her waist. She looked up surprised, as the music began and the two of them began to dance. Chris's arms went around his neck, and she looked up at him, they had never shared a moment like this. "You look so pretty tonight Christian" Tal finally said, his eyes soft and gentle. To his surprise, she didn't get mad at his calling her by her full name. "Thank you" she said "You look quite handsome yourself", it had been a while since they had given each other complements like this. Suddenly, Tal's hand went up and touched her face, and his gaze was sure and ready. Chris froze, as his hand gently caressed her cheek, she almost moaned right then and there. Finally, she spoke.
"Do you want to stay at my place for a bit?"
