Sirens
Heya'yall, I just thought I'd post this here cos I know that many out there are just looking for a laugh.
I got first prize for this because I made my teacher's day, and I thought I could do the same for others out there.
UN-Disclaimer: I CAN FULLY PROCLAIM THIS AS MINE!!! ... you have NO idea how good it feels to say this is mine after seven fanfictions...

Well what, do pray tell,
Is this about?
Ah! That my dear readers
Is what you must find out!
Seek one word only
One word worth two;
Whether they save you or kill you
They know what they do:
Incessant wailing,
Inhuman noise,
Long hair a’ trailing,
Moving so poised.
Horror on lost seas
They tempt and trap men,
Erasing any common sense
And to death they condemn.
A songstress’ Temptation,
So hard to resist,
It doesn’t matter if their songs include unnecessary useless extra additional syllables
‘Cos their charms never missed.
Incessant wailing,
Inhuman noise,
Red flashes blinding,
Ear damaging voice;
On different vehicles,
You blare out our ears,
Oh Warning, Oh Warning,
Oh muffs for our ears!
Saved lives you may have,
We thank you there,
Yet deafen us, you threaten the
Function of our most precious sense.
When something bad happens,
When the ambulance comes by,
When the cops want to announce their presence
When the school wants to alarm fire,
You grace us with your vocaling,
Rendering us deaf
Our ears don’t cease ringing
And even get impaired…
The one word you’re looking,
That one word for two
Is seen in the title
‘Sirens’ HA HA *cough* Ow!
The last stanza this will be
So sorry to say!
