Chapter 1

My name is Tristian Nagashi, and I’m the drummer of Black Rain. We live in Maina Helena.
It a fairly nice city, band practice can be entertaining. I was sitting on the high chair tuning up Toby’s guitar. Oh, Toby is Tobias’ nickname! I call him that! I treat like a little brother.
“Hey, Tris!” said Tobias, “My best friend Livvie. She’s kind of heart broken because her ex-boyfriend had broken up with her for another woman so, I was wonder if- “Toby, your asking me to ask her out on a date right?” I said “Yeah. I mean she’s my best friend and I love her.” He said “Maybe you should go out with her.” I said “No, but I already have a girlfriend.” He smiled. “Fine. I’ll talk to her.” I mumbled. “Thanks, Tris!” said Tobias


I noticed Caleb was talking to Livvie outside Hallow’s eve. Hallows’ eve is a club, I guess Jamie liked Halloween so much he decided to call the club Hallow’s eve. Jamie is kind of cool but he can be quite annoying sometimes! Caleb happens to be. Well, I don’t know much about him. Justin, he’s our keyboard told me that he’s a vampire and he drinks human blood. Personally, I think Justin has been watching too many vampire movies and there starting to go to his head! “Tristian!” said Caleb. “Yeah?” I said as I walked up to Caleb.


Caleb whispered something in my ear, “This is the girl that Tobias wants you to do date.”
“Caleb, I am not dating Toby’s best friend!” I said “Tobias said he knew you were going to say that. But I think she’s totally dig you!” he said as he left me with Livvie. “Hey.” I said “Hi.” She said Wow, and she’s amazingly beautiful. I don’t think she would want going with a boy like me. Ok, Tristian! Keep your cool. Don’t say anything stupid to a pretty girl like her! I thought. “Tristian, are you ok?” she asked


“Yeah, I’m fine. I was just thinking.” He smiled. Wow, but he sure does have a beautiful smile! I love those dimples. He’s so handsome, Livvie thought. “You have a beautiful smile.” She said I blushed deeply, “T-thank you!” I said “I’m sorry for embarrassing you! I would like to get to know you a bit more!” she cried “Nah., it’s no big deal. I was going to say something just like that, I guess you took the words right of my mouth!” I chuckled. She’s not saying anything, she probably thinks I’m a dork! I wondered.

“Are you busy on Friday?” I asked. “Nope.” She said “I’m not busy either so, I guess I was wondering if you would like to get some coffee with me.” I said. “Sure!” she giggled softly. That soft giggle makes me smile warmly inside. I thought again. “Ok, and I’ll pick you up around five thirty?” I asked

“Yeah! It’s a date then!” she said. “I’ll guess I’ll see you on Friday.” I said, “Yes, Friday it is.” she smiled. I walked back into the club. “So, how did it go?” asked Tobias. “It went ok.” I said. “You know Livvie is really hot, I think I’m in love.” said Lucky as he was mocking Tristian. “Whatever.” I said.


Later that night I was at this club I go to a lot and I usually end up bringing a girl home, I saw the beautiful blond. “Hey, there.” she said. “Hi.” I said “Are you doing anything later on tonight?” she asked. “No, are you?” I said. She giggled “Prefect, and I want to know how to have a good time.” she said. “Well, then let’s get out of here.” I said as finished drinking three more shots. I think it was twelve o clock when we reached my apartment, I lead her upstairs to my bedroom.“I’m bet I’m the first girl to see your apartment.” she said. I could tell that she was drunk so was I. “Yeah, you are.” I giggled. She kissed my neck and started taking off my shirt. “What’s your name?” I asked “Julia, and you?” said Julia. “Tristian.” I said “Oh, what a nice name!” she said. I kissed her deeply while sucking her neck. “Your kind of rough aren’t you?” she asked “Maybe.” he said. I felt my pants being taking off and boxer along with it. “Are you ready for some action?” she said “Oh, yeah.” I smiled, as I took off her black bra and smacked her butt. “Mm, I like you! You’re kinky!” she cried. “Yeah? I can be more kinky.” I said. I was making love to her that night. The next morning it was Ten something. “Oh, man. What happened?” I said. Julia was outside smoking, “Hey, lover.” she said. “Hey.” I said “You were so good to me last night.” She said. “Really? Because, I think, we were really drunk last night. I should’ve slept with you.” I said. She laughed. “But you did, and you were really good.” she said. I sighed deeply, “Your sober now, I like the drunk side of you!” she cried as left my house. I heard the door slammed, “Damn, I really need to stop going out to clubs.” I said.


At five thirty that evening, “Toby, have you seen Tristian?” she asked “No, I haven’t.” he said. I pulled up my corvette, “Hey, Livs.” I said. “Hi.” she said. “Have fun you two!” Tobias smiled. I drove off, “I’m sorry, Livvie.” I said. “It’s ok.” She said “What did you do yesterday?” I asked, “I was studying for a final in one of my classes.” she said. “What classes are you taking?” I said “Biology, Creative Writing and geometry.” she said. “Must be nice to be in college?” I said, “Yeah, it’s a lot of fun. Are you in college?”“I graduated Maina Uni, in 03.” I told her. “Wow, that impressive.” she said. Maina coffee shop one of the famous places that everyone goes to, this where I go if I’m having a really bad day. “This place is so huge!” she cried as she continued to walk around. “Yeah, this coffee shop was created in 1998. Since then, it’s become a poplar hangout.” I said. We got our coffee and pick out a place to sit down, I got Livvie’s chair and pull it in for her. “Thank you.” she said “Your welcome.” I said.


“What did you do last night?” she asked me, I cringed when she asked me that question. “I went out to a club.” I said. “Oh, I’ve never been to a club before.” she said “Maybe you and I can go to a club sometime?” I said. She chuckled, “I would like that.” she said. “How along have you know Toby?” I said“I’ve known him since 4th grade. So, I’ve known him for 9 years. He’s a sweet guy,” she smiled. I guess she likes Toby more than me, figures. I thought myself. “You know, Toby is my best friend and I like him as friend. But you seem different from the other guys I’ve dated.” she said. “Really? How am I different?” I smiled. “Your sweet, kind and gentlemen.” she said. I blushed lightly, she giggled. “I’m sorry for making you blush. You seem really nice.” she said. “You’ve dated guys before huh?” I said,


“Yeah, what about you?” she asked, “Me? I’ve had too many girlfriends.” I said. “I see,” she said softly,“Ok, I should take you home.” I said, “Alright.” she said. The car ride was really quiet. “Livvie, I’m sorry about what I said to you,” I said. “Tristian, it’s ok. I can see what girls like you.” she said, Ok! I’m so glad that she’s not mad at me, maybe I’m becoming attracted to her. I thought,
“What are you thinking about?” she asked me, “Me? I thought you were mad at me.” I said
“No! I wouldn’t be mad at you.” she giggled, It’s that giggled again I love her smile, it makes feel happy than I ever did with any other woman. I wondered. I stopped my car to the beach, it was beautiful as the sun was setting. “This is really beautiful.” she said


“Yeah, it is. But your beautiful.” I said “Oh my! Tristian stop! Your making me blush!” she said. “Well, I meant it. There’s just something about you, Livvie. I don’t know what it is but it but it feels right.” I said, I leaned down and kissed her, my arms were around her. I broke away from her lips. “Wow, that was interesting! Umm, Tristian w-why did you do that?” she asked. “Because. I like you a lot Livvie. I’m really sorry, I did that. I just wanted to see what it was like. Here’s my cell phone number, I’ll take you home.” I said After I dropped off Livvie, I went home. “Can’t believe I kissed her! I really like her, but she’s Toby’s best friend and I’m too much of a bad boy for her.” I thought
