Fear

Fear the flesh that you desire
The blood that mingles in your saliva
The rotten skin between your teeth
The one that gets your heart to beat
The meaningless words ravel from your tongue
Meant for one and one alone
Lost inside a black-tone mind
Always trying to grasp the time
Little lost
Empty cost
Breaking bones
Tossing stones
Black-ink blood with mud filled veins
Scorched up organs with no remains
Little inside, but trying to keep alive
You’ll always be barely empty
Dismembered ache inside your chest
You’ll scratch and poke and rip out the nest
Irritating thing in the back of your mind
Always talking, always right
You’ll never be free
No matter how hard you try
You’ll always be….
