What's In A Name?
-Chapter One : What's In A Name?-
-Ninasiao POV-
Riana picked up her book and threw it at my head.
'You clutz! You broke mother's china dolls!'
'I'm sorry Riana! I didn't mean to. Please don't hurt me.'
'I'm not going to touch you, but brother may not be so nice.'
'Riana! Please don't tell Micheal! Please! I don't wanna go in the closet again!'
'Not my choice to make little sister, you'll have to beg Micheal'
Micheal wouldn't listen. He never listened. Neither did Riana.
Life didn't used to be so bad, we used to be such a happy family. That was before Juliana went away...Juli used to protect me from Ria and Mike, she loved me to death. Mom always said there was something wrong with Juli, said she wasn't fit for human society. They sent her away, I begged her not to leave...but she said she couldn't help it. She needed help for herself and she couldn't watch over me anymore. All I wanted was for Juli to come back and say she was all better, but she never came back...I don't think she's ever coming back.
I'm the youngest in our family, but I'm not really related to anyone but my mom. Ria and Mike's dad sold mom's body off so he could get a little bit of money to hold them over till he got a new job. Mommy came back with me, an unexpected suprise...also an unwanted one. Mom wouldn't let him set up an abortion, she wouldn't let him kill me. It was the same situation with Juli to. We both never knew who are dads were, they could have been the homeless people on the street, we would never really know.
I wanted mommy to love me like the others, but she got so tired of taking care of us. She left Ria and Mike in charge of my upbringing, I'm suspirsed I came out like I did. Ria used to be real nice like Juli, but dad took her in the closet once and she was never the same again.
I missed the life we had back then. I knew nothing would make it better again, not even if Juli really did come back. Things were just to far gone.
I knew I wasn't like the others, I was so much different. That difference is what Ria and Mike hated.

I used to believe that if you make a wish on a falling star it would come true. Ria said wishes never came true so I shouldn't even try.
Tonight, I just had to try. Maybe if I wanted it really bad enough, it would come true.
'Little star in the sky, please take my wish tonight.'
Tears were already starting to fall and the bruises were forming.
'Please make the pain go away, give me a friend who will always stay.'
'Let him be my gaurdian angel, an angel called Damien.'
I hoped Ria was wrong, and wishes did come true.
