Anya Harlem had been friends with Matt and Ryan for a long time. She had been friends with Ryan only a year before they started their on again off again relationship. Though their relationship dissolved when Ryan moved. Matt came into the picture when Anya and Ryan had been on a break. Matt and Ryan were best friends. A couple of summers ago, Matt moved into a house right behind Anya. A year ago today, Matt asked Anya out. Anya had refused because she saw them as just friends.
