How long is Forever

I told him that I would love him forever
Yet now I am wondering when forever ends
It’s not that I have found someone new
I still love him as much as when we first met
But I need more than this life
Can’t keep dreaming of some place far away
So I'm setting my sails and flying away

How long is forever
Don't tell me for always
And when will forever end
Please don't say never
Oh let forever end soon
And free me of this burden

She told me forever and I believed
But now I can't help but notice the far off look
Her touch is still gentle and I know she still loves me
Yet I think her heart is gone
And I'm wondering when forever ended
So now where is her heart
And can I ever get it back

How long is forever
Tell me for always
And when will forever end
Tell me never
Oh don't let forever end
And keep her with me
