Empty Moonlight
Empty Moonlight
Shine on my head.
Burn me with your lies.
I am no saint.
Hiding my face.
Keeping to the shadows.
Forget me not.
For I am alone.
Console me with your barbed tongue
I deserve no less.
Underneath a rock.
Away from society.
Yearning to fit in.
But always alone.
O Empty Moonlight.
Shine on my head.
Burn me with your lies.
I am no saint.
Hiding my face.
Keeping to the shadows.

Console me with your barbed tongue
I deserve no less.
