Summery: A large old warehouse houses more than just tenets on each floor, it also the home of a she-vamp.

I sit on my balcony and watch the cars go, the moon is high in the starry sky and the night is warm.
800 years I've lived, 800 years of hunger and pain.
At first it was a rush to be immortal, to walk the streets with no fear, to be able to get hurt and to heal myself.
But after all this time, being immortal is now only a hindrance, I long to be free of this blood lust, I long to feel the sun on my face, and to see the seasons change.
For 800 years I have moved myself around, moved from town to town, city to city and even country to country. Never staying in one spot for too long, never letting them know who and what I am.
But now that the 800 year mark has come and gone, I don't give a damn anymore. Let them find out what I am, let them know me, and perhaps if I am luck someone might just be able to kill me, but you never know I might even let them.

“Well lady, what do you think of this loft? It is very open and airy do you not think?” The small Chinese man told Sindee.
She smiled and re-checked every window, making sure that they could be opened and closed again. She checked the power sockets and smiled to herself. “Yes, sir I like this loft and I will take it”
“Well then, shall we go to my office and sign all the needed papers?”

The Vamp is awoken from her slumber by a loud bang, and flies out of bed her heart pounding, that is it would if she heart actually had a heart beat.
She looks up to the ceiling hearing movement from the floor above and also hearing a woman's voice curse and swear.

“Goddammit... this stupid box... why can't it do as I want it to?”
“Because it is an in-animate object” The soft sultry voice said.
“Shit, where did you come from?”
“From the service elevator and the floor below yours” Her smile was breathtaking, “I heard a crash, want some help?”

The vamp holds out her hand “My name is Tatiana”
“Forgive me, my name is Sindee and as you have guessed I have just moved in”
“Well hello Sindee, welcome to 17 Ramsey Street” The vamps smile melted Sindee's heart.
“I don't suppose you'd like to share a bottle of wine with me, I'm in the need for some alcohol”
Tatiana nodded slightly “I would love to”

Over the next several weeks the two girls were inseparable, they shopped together, eat in restaurants, even went window shopping and it never occurred to Sindee that it was always after the sun set.
“I was thinking, I would like to cook you dinner tonight, to say thankyou for all the help that you have given me” Sindee smiled.
“I would like that and I will bring the wine” Tatiana replied.
