Captured in Silent Poverty
Naked,
backed against the wall...
Damp hair,
dallies with your breast...
A glow
stalks your curves,
a flood of light
drowns you on one side,
hides you like a disguise
on the other.
Your skin
moist, air dried perhaps...
or perhaps
the anticipation
of a captured moment,
a still second of time
which seemed
like only moments ago...
now caught
in frame and glass,
eerily reminiscent
of its silence.
