I love him I watched him from a far, gazing at him, I lust for him. Then he came along, taking my heart away, drifting it from my admirer. Making me choice, making it hard for me.

I love the both of them…

Finding out the guy that you absolutely hate is in love with you and a demon prince is also falling for you, the situation becomes more difficult. Making things shoddier on top, when you find out that you’re a princess and the element “light”.


Chapter 1: Pure Love
AN: Just in this chapter, things aren’t going well between Kale and KatrinaMa’Ri, they argue and fight. Then Raphael the demonic prince attend KradThgil Magic School, KatrinaMa’Ri falls head over hills for this guy, See what happens :P


Flashback 1 year ago*


“Um Kale…” says KatrinaMa’Ri, in a somewhat childlike way

Kale turns around, to me standing waiting for the words to just fall out of my mouth.

“Yes…” says Kale politely.

Tongue tied, getting flustered over my thoughts.

“Ka…Kale will…will…will you go out with me?” I say quickly, getting it over with, embarrassed by my naive question.


I could feel the resentment yet disgrace take over my body. Losing thought of reality, hoping he says yes, hoping he would accept my invitation.

Suddenly, “No, I don’t have time for games” he says glaring somewhat coldly at. This side I had never seen before, so sinister, so wicked.


I could feel the tears build, I felt so rejected and redundant, and I ran, running away like a coward.

I never wanted to see him again, I hated him for that, the way he looked at me, and those bitter ice sapphire eyes pierced my heart.

On that day I felt my mind slowly slither away, like a hazardous snake.


Ever since then, me and Kale we have been quarrelling and getting at each others necks.

He became upper classman and a high court member. And as for I, well I stayed a middle classman, normal and unchanging.


After that we just stop seeing each other, at that point I suddenly forgot his name and the reason I really hated him.


We grew distant, and now…

*A year from that day*



I sat outside by the gardens quietly and silent, as the cool autumn breezes elevated my long shimmering aqua hair, for a while I stared at the dying roses and brownish grass.

It was faint yet so serene, I loved the campus gardens in the autumn, the beautiful leaves the quiet grey lit sky, and multi-colored autumn trees.

It was all so very relaxing, I had always had the tendency to come here when I felt my mind slip away.

Closing my eyes, I let the calm environment take me in its arms, I loved that feeling, and it was so cherished and precious to me.

Opening my eyes, unknowingly noticing that someone was sitting next me.

“Aren’t the gardens beautiful at this time of year” says a soft yet masculine voice.

What in the hell.

“Huh? Oh I’m sorry I didn’t see you there” I say somewhat embarrassed standing up with the rest of my belongings.

I didn’t even bother to look at the person who was talking to me.

I turned around and stood there not even looking at his face, I was too flustered to even face him.

Gosh I feel so stupid and so naïve.

“It’s okay, I saw you sitting here, you looked kind of lonely” says the handsome stranger.

That’s because I feel abandoned, even though I’m surrounded by an abundant of friends I still feel bare inside.

“Oh no, I wasn’t, I was here to look at the gardens, but I was about to leave” I say still flustered as usual.


Walking off I ignored that stranger I left behind in my secret garden, I could still hear him calling me back to him.


I feel so stupid, this was most likely my only chance in getting a boyfriend and I ruined it.

*Later on that day 7th hour class*


“So you ran off, KatrinaMa'Ri you are so unaware sometimes” says AnaMaria giving one of her little lectures again.

And I really didn’t need one of her lectures today.

“AnaMaria, I don’t need to hear your speeches today, I am way too stressed” I say, not trying to mean or anything.

I lay my head down, turning my head away from AnaMaria and look out at the afternoon skylight.

I know that AnaMaria was trying to help me, but I just didn’t feel like hearing it today.

I didn’t listen the whole period; I just laid there with my head down looking at the autumn afternoon.


“AnaMaria, I’m sorry for the way acted, I was wrong, I was just stressed” I say turning my head not seeing anyone there.

Wait a sec, were did the class go.

“Um, excuse me” says the same voice I heard in the garden earlier this morning.

I look up, and for the first time, I see his face; he was beautiful, my heart pounded, damn it, I swore never to feel this again.

“Um…yes” I say staggering over those two simple words.

“You left your ring in the garden” he says

What?! I don’t have a ring; I may wear a bracelet, but not a ring.


“Oh…thank you” I say in a cheery way

Just looking into those quiet violet eyes made my accept anything from him and do anything.

I was pretty sure he had a girlfriend though, but I couldn’t stop staring at him, those beautiful eyes, his long black silky hair; I just wanted to shout right then and there.

“I don’t know what I’ve would have done without it” I say accepting the ring, looking at it somewhat conceited.

Oh I got an admirer, I’m so delighted

I get up gathering my things quickly, losing track of time forgetting the end of the school day.

“Do you want me carry your things” he says, so calm and collected.


Oh, he wants to carry my things, oh he defiantly like me.


Then a girl walks in, with long black hair and violet reddish eyes, she had seemed to be an upper classman, she was elegant, graceful and attractive; our red uniforms sure did match her flawlessly.

“Raphael, dear I hope you didn’t forget our date tonight” says the young woman, walking in the class hugging on to my crushes arm.

I could tell they were more of a mature couple from the way they acted.

“Miyu, I told you to wait for me downstairs” he says unclamping the girl’s hands from his arm.

Then she looks at, somewhat surprised; you know one of those stares.

“Um, honey who is this?” says the girl lightheartedly.


Oh how dare she, she has some audacity.

“This is…” he says stopping not knowing my name.

My name is long, so hope you remember it.

“KatrinaMa'Ri, my name is KatrinaMa'Ri, and you are” I say proudly moving the hair from my face.

“Raphael, Prince Raphael…and I’m his girlfriend Miyu… future princess Miyu” says his so called girlfriend cutting him off.

Gosh who is this girl, she really has some damned nerves, and she’s so full of herself.

“Miyu let’s go” says Prince Raphael getting aggravated

Poor Raphael, why does he have to put up with a girl like that?


“See you later KatrinaMa'Ri, I hope I see you again” says Prince Raphael walking away giving me a delicate smile

I could see Miyu’s glare grow cold upon me, but I had to muster up some courage.

“By Prince Raphael I hope to see you again too” I say wavy joyfully.

I could hear them argue down the halls.

“How could you remember a middle classman name? How could you even speak to her?” says Miyu’s faint voice as I hear her clinking high heel shoes saunter down the halls.

After that the voices were just dim and faint.

“Oh well, maybe in another lifetime” I say leading on to a stressed sigh.

I pick up the ring from the table, but then I find a tiny yellow ribbon attached to it along with a note. I disregard the ribbon and letter, and pay more attention to the ring, it looked so pricey, I didn’t want to wear it, and it was so stunning; it had a golden heart on it, with trails of luxurious diamonds.

“Oh wow, it so pretty” I says putting it on looking at it, admiring it.

It just had to be expensive for any normal person to buy, it was so alluring and divine, but so elegant.


I put the small tiny yellow ribbon in my hardback textbook along with the letter.

*In KradThgil School Courtyard*

I walked along the unscripted path full of autumn leaves, the courtyard was plain yet so beautiful, and the trees seemed to bend over the path covering the path along wit the traditional wooden benches from sunlight. And the rest was green grass and more trees.


“KatrinaMa'Ri wait, wait up” says a voice calling my name.


It was AnaMaria running up along the path.

“I thought you were with me when we left class…I just wanted to apologize, I know lately you’ve been stressed and all” says AnaMaria playfully kicking the leaves.

Poor AnaMaria her father, king of the heavens is always so hard on her.

“Oh no, it’s my fault, I had no excuse to be rude” I say sighing throwing my backpack in front of me.

Suddenly Princess my guardian also a pet, popped up from my backpack.

“Hey KatrinaMa'Ri!” says Princess joyfully leaping from the bag.


“Hey Princess” says AnaMaria waving joyfully.

Those two always manage to get along so well.

“Hey, you guys do you want to head over to café today?” I ask AnaMaria and Princess.


* Star Rocks Café


Walking into the dark, but azure light covered café; the room is full of laugher and joyfulness. I and my friends sit down at random table waiting for assistance.

“Well this is a good way to spend the rest of the afternoon” says AnaMaria humming a tone putting her head on her hand.

Princess, tail wagged and waved in liveliness, as the waitress walked over towards our table.

“Hi I’m Cookie and I’ll be your waitress this afternoon, and what would you like to drink” says the ditzy carefree waitress.

“We would like three ice cappuccinos” I says laying my head down on the table.


I wasn’t feeling well all of a sudden.

I suddenly spaced out, parting myself from the jazz harmony and laugher.


“KatrinaMa'Ri are you okay?” asks Princess troubled.

No I feel as if I’m about to throw-up.

“Yea, I feel peachy” I say, trying to bare and grin it.

Liar, how could I lie, I’m sick.

Suddenly when I turn my head to the right I see Kale and a large amount of friends surrounding like the last time I asked him out. But this time he had more friends then ever, I envied him. Then over his large crowd of friends I see him staring at me blankly.

I could tell in his eyes he wanted to talk to me, he probably still thinks that I’m mad.

Ignoring him, I turned my head to the left, to find Prince Raphael and his girlfriend Miyu surround by the same number amount of friends


I felt more lightheaded than ever, it made things worse; he made my heart beat faster and faster.

“KatrinaMa'Ri, are you okay?” says AnaMaria

No I wanna faint.

“Yeah, I’m fine” I say before falling into a calm faint.

Everything become dim, and quiet; the world before me hushes into sleep.

I couldn’t hear anything; it had felt as if I left that troubled world behind me. It felt pleasant, to finally sleep and rest. I felt the hands shake my body, but who were they, disturbing me from my peaceful world. All of a sudden I felt a cool splash of element hit my face, drowning me from my world.

Slowly opening my eyes in a faded haze, I saw the blob like figures surround me. Then widening my eyes breathing in the real air before, my face covered in water.

I look up to see Kale and Prince Raphael above me and more people starring at me with concern along with AnaMaria and Princess.

“KatrinaMa'Ri, you scared us, you stopped breathing” says AnaMaria

What I stopped breathing; I thought I was taking a nap or something.

I jumped up and pushed everyone out of my way, running towards the doorway. I could them grabbing me, clinging on to me.

“Get out of my way” I say, as I ran out the door.

I ran as far as I could, until I reached my secret garden once again.

I looked up at the metal black painted entrance.


Pushing the screaming gate open, I ran in toward the stone bench surrounded by roses.

I laid there for a long time staring into the garden, letting once again the garden take me in.

I could hear still hear the crowd of people, or were they following me.

Wait a sec, the voices are getting louder.

So I jump up and look around for a place to hide.


When I saw a bush of roses, which was my only option; so I went behind it kneeling as I looked threw it.

I could see some of Kale and Raphael friends.

In another area Princess and AnaMaria were searching.

I saw Prince Raphael walking over here toward the gate. I laid there waiting for them all to go away. It was so embarrassing for everyone to stand over me.

After a while I got up from the rose bush, dusting myself off.

Suddenly, walking toward the gate, I felt someone embrace me, holding me tight; I could tell it wasn’t a female from the way that they clasped on to me.

“Let go” I say struggling and fighting.

Let go damn it.

“Calm down” says a calm smoothing voice.

It was so familiar, I know that voice.

It…it was my Raphael embracing me.

“How…how did you know I was in the garden?” I ask stuttering over my words.

I could then feel his warm breath crawl up my neck, which sent shivers down my spine. I wanted to stay there forever it felt so right but it was wrong.

I then broke away from his affectionate embrace, putting my hand on my neck where he breathed at.

“What in the hell do you think, you are doing?!” I say stepping five feet away.

He wasn’t angry or surprised; he just stood there the way he always does, calm and collected.

“I was comforting you” says Raphael.

No you weren’t, you were trying to kiss me.

“…” I stand there preparing to leave.

He has a girlfriend, it’s wrong for us to do this…
