Namida no Megami
Once Upon A Time...
We say this, because it has always been true. There has never been a time… without time... Time has existed since She has existed... And She has always been here...
The Goddess Unmei dwelt above, in the Kingdom of Heavan, for all eternity. However, one day, she looked about her, in all of her majesty, and realised that she was alone.
The Goddess wept.
Thirteen tears fell from Her holy Face... These tears passed from sorrow into light, and turned to crystal, called Hoseki... Togther, they created a passageway down from Heavan... Once opened, the passage created Kiroku, the world of Man.
Delighted, Unmei watched Her children begin life, grow strong, and prosper. Unselfish, Unmei granted the children all of the gifts that She Herself possessed. Soon, however, as is prone to Man, the children faltered, and broke faith.
In Unmei's stead, they lifted up a new God... Tsuyake, the God of Progress, and of Ambition... Soon, Unmei faded to a dim memory... Frightened of Tsuyake's new Church, the faithful of Unmei broke fellowship and scattered, lost in time, along with the Hoseki they had sworn to protect...
