Fading Soul’s Cry
Release me from this pain
Do not hold me back
All hope has flown
And love abandons
This bittersweet melody
Plays forever on
Beauty, in its splendor
Has vanished from sight
Inside there grows a hole
A place of darkness
A hollow of night
Embrace my demise
To long fallen, drowned
Into the depths of despair
Sublime oblivion awaits
Undivided nothingness calls
As the light fades
From jaded eyes
Brilliant sapphires shattered
A cerulean solitude
Healing time
Poses no promise
I carry only devastation
Delicate peace disturbed
A loss required
Please let me go
