Unicorns Returning

We stand so still watching the Unicorns fly off into the distant sky,
Only just coming to terms just where we are up so high...
The sun shining down its rays touching us feeling so near,
Its warmth and brightness calming our fears....
I look at you wanting to hold you to feel you close to me,
Thinking there would be no other place I would want to be...
I take your hand as we begin to explore,
Just wondering what fate has in store...

In the distance we hear thunder and see the flashes of lightning,
I look across at you knowing how all this for you can be frightning...
I hold you in my arms feeling you trembling your bare skin clinging to mine,
I whisper in your ear reassuring you, everything will be fine.....
You look up at me with those beautiful eyes a tear glistening in the flashes of light,
The thunder booming the lightning crashing with all the fury of Gods might...
I kiss away the tear brushing your hair away from your face,
This is all so intense we forget the rest of the human race...
Your trembling turns to shivers as goosebumps form you are feeling cold,
I hold you closer feeling the intimancy forever wanting to love and hold...

Behold what a extraordinary sight a huge pair of discarded angels wings,
I reach down for the wings my only thought to wrap you up like a precious little thing....
The sight of you inside these wings gives me visions of such an angelic sight,
My passion for you rising to an incredible new height....
We continue to walk towards what appears to be a set of golden gates,
Your growing tired so I scoop you up in my arms neither of us sure of our fate...
Approaching the gates the angel wings suddenly becoming signifcant,
The sight before us just absolutely magnificant....

As we approach the golden entrance opens to a sight to awesome to concieve,
We look at each other in amazement trying desperately to believe...
Standing before us is six wing-clad creatures human-like but with a beauty never seen,
We both realise this is one place we have never been....
When I met you I thought I went to heaven my only thought was your embrace,
Suddenly it dawns on me just how I feel my heart pounding trying to keep up the pace...
You are my angel and this is my heaven visions of splendour invade my mind,
A love like this I never thought I would ever find...

Suddenly becoming very aware of my nakedness ,
My feelings for you filling me with a warmth that engulfes my body and I must confess....
I LoVe YoU with all my heart...bursting till it feels like its going to break,
In one quick heavenly vision it all becomes clear the path we have to take....
One of the wing-clad creatures beckons us towards a gigantic diamond encrusted harp that is too
beautiful for any one person to keep,
Gesturing for me to play, my look giving away my wonder of such an instrument at my feet...
I glide my fingers across the chords looking into your eyes deeply in love,
All this wonder happening so far above...
The sound of the harp dancing across this cloud lined world to be only heard by one creature,
Suddenly the familiar sound of our majestic winged friends an instant vision of their one striking
feature...

They appear in there splendour our Unicorn friends seem pleased to see us impatient to leave,
We look at each other all that has happened still too hard for us to believe.....
Our rides beckoning stamping their hoofs raising their awesome wings ready to take flight,
To takes us away to once again fly with all their might....
We turn to our wing-clad angel like friends only to see them vanish before our eyes,
No chance to thank them not even able to utter one cry...
We climb aboard our majestic carriages hearts racing at the thought of once again such an
incredible experience to behold, a tear in my eye at the thought of leaving this wonder,
Suddenly thinking maybe....just maybe this all took place in the land of slumber....
