Betrayed With A Kiss
Betrayed with a kiss,
now kneeled before you
I am condemned
and raped of life
whipped and torn
from savage scorn
with stripes
across my back
my cries and fears
in the face of laughter
come after the crack
and the stinging pain
that gives it life
but the kiss remains wet
upon my cheek
the kiss that betrayed
my trust.
