Chapter 1
1998 Ayame heard a slight know on the door. She opened the door, but she when she opened it. A woman wearing at mask had struck her with a blade in the stomach. The woman took the blade out of her’s stomach and pushed her to the ground. Ethan saw his beloved wife on the ground, he came up to her. “Ayame, can you hear me?” he asked. “Ethan, I think I’m bleeding... Make sure Shuyin is safe. I don’t want this woman to hurt our son. I feel like I’m dying. Oh, the pain it hurts!” she groaned. Ethan gently laid his wife down on the ground. He was angry! He grabbed his sword that magical appeared out of his hand, the woman started attacking him. He tried to defend the best he could. “Who are you? Why did you attack my wife! She did nothing to you!” Ethan cried.
“Ethan Bane Nagami, you took something very dear to me. Now; I’m here to kill you and your wife! Since, your wife is bleeding to death. I plan on killing you next! I’m almost done fulfilling my dream!” she yelled, exposing her true identity. Ethan couldn’t believe what he saw, “Liza! Why did you kill Ayame! She was your best friend!” he screamed. “Because, I want your precious son. I love him, Ethan! I don’t care if I kill you both! Either way is fine, you can’t stand in our way!” she said.
“Your sick, Liza! Shuyin never loved you!” he said. Liza got mad at slit Ethan’s thoart, blood caked her face. “E-Ethan, no! I can’t believe you would do such a horrible thing! My husband is dead! Oh, Ethan!” cried Ayame. She got up with all her remaining strength and attacked Liza. “Get off me! You filthy witch!” said Liza. Shuyin heard noise so, he decided to check it out. He saw his parents on the floor, Shuyin quickly ran over to them.
“Mom, Dad?” he said. But his father wasn’t moving. “Dad?!” he said while his voice breaks. “Shuyin?” said Ayame. “Mother, you’re alive! I’ll call an ambulance right away! Please hang on!” he said. “You look so much like your father, you’ve got my blue eyes. My son, my baby boy. I wanted to tell you that your part human and part demon. Your father is a demon, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you when you were going. I.. Wanted to.. Tell you sooner.. But your father insisted waiting until you.. Were ready to know the truth. I love you.” she said. Ayame died in his arms.
“Mother? Mother!!!!! No, please wake up! Don’t leave me!” he screamed. “Awww.. A very touching moment.” she said. “Liza! My mother and father are dead! Who could’ve done this to them. Come with me Liza to the police!” “Shuyin, I can’t come with you to the police.” “Why not?” He asked “Because, I kill your parents, my love.” she said. “What?! Why did you do that?” he said. “I love you, Shu. I want to be with you always.” Shuyin’s eyes turned red. “You killed my parents! Damn you!”
Shuyin plunged the sword in her chest, “Shu. We’re supposed to be a couple!” She said as she fell on the ground. Shuyin grabbed his mother and father also the sword. He walked to the Maina hospital. When he go there, he fainted. One of the nurses noticed the three bodies. “Doctor Jiang! A boy has fainted!” said the nurse “Mother? Father?” he moaned, his eyes were tired. When Shuyin awoken, “Mother, Father? Where are my parents!” he screamed. “No need to shout! Your finally awake. Your parents are dead. I’m sorry, they’re were dead for a long time.” she said. “It’s my fault!” he sobbed. “It’s nobody’s fault, I’m sure you parents loved you.” she said. “How long was I out? Who are you? Where am I?” he asked. “4 days, I’m Livvie Samson, I’m on the volunteers nurses at the Maina Hospital. We found another body, Liza McCalf. Apparently, a ex-nurse at Maina hospital. She’s dead from a blade wound.” she said. “I need to get out of here.” he said. “You can’t go outside, with a bandaged arm and a deep wound.” said Livvie.
“I’m not wanted here. Please, I must go!” he cried. “I can’t let you through. I don’t want to you hurt yourself.” she said. I can’t tell her about me being half-human and half-demon! She’ll think I’m crazy. He thought to himself. “Fine, I’ll stay. Only because, you want me to stay.” Six months Later Shuyin finally recovered and he was ready to leave Maina Hospital when someone knocked at the door.
“Come in.” he said. “Hi, Shuyin.” she said. “Hey, Liv. Well, I’m going to head outside. Umm, I’ll guess I’ll see you around then?” he said. “Shuyin, wait. Here this,” she said. “What is this?” he asked
“Open it.” she smiled.
It was a necklace at the a broken heart in half. “Thanks, Livvie. That’s very sweet of you to do that. You have the other half don’t you?” he said. “Yes, that way I won’t forget all times you made me laugh. I’m going to miss you, Shuyin.” she said while a tear came down her face.
“Aww. Livvie, don’t cry. Tell you what? I’ll give my sn and we’ll chat when I have computer with me.” he said as he kissed her cheek. Shuyin left the Maina Hospital, Livvie ran out side and she couldn’t find him. “I was going to give him a hug. He’s so caring.” she said to herself.
