The World Of RAW19

0ceans

In crashing waves and vivid blue,
In darkness of the midnight hue,
In creamy foam and salty sea,
I see the force and it sees me.

With rushing wind and swirling pools,
With flashy groups of fishy schools,
With crispy sand and jagged peaks,
I hear the ocean. To me it speaks.

When the sun sets over the horizon,
When the sun sets, and then it rises,
When the water does flow and ebb,
I bid farewell, my ocean friend.

Sand

In dazzeling castles by and by,
In flowing powder, hot and crisp,
In shiny coins and blowing wisps,
The spirit dwells before my eyes.

From creamy beach crabs, slow in motion,
From seashell pits and rocky shore,
From the heap and futher more,
I see a boy; he sees The Ocean.

As dust cools down above the ground,
As clams do glisten and time does go,
As the wind does howl and blow,
I bid adieu. My soft sand pal.

In A Place Called Sane

In a place called sane. Yeah, that’s the name.
And once you’re in, you’re not out again.
Your thoughts awry, in a world gone mad,
Wave goodbye, to any sense you had.
The things we do. The things we say.
The fights we start. The games we play.
The stereotypes and racism today,
O’er the land of the free, and the home of the brave
Just don’t add up; 2 + 2 = 5?
Does sanity exist? Is it even alive?
We start these wars, we steal these things,
We impose these “rights”, we instill this greed,
We all have rights. We all agree,
That if you cut us, we’ll surely bleed.
So why make war? So why make waste?
So why take truth, and use lies in its place?
What happened to truth, justice, and the American way?
My answer is this: We’ve all gone Insane.
Common sense shattered; the nut house domain.
So sanity, be gone! Return from whence you came!
For we’re a world gone mad, in a place called Sane!

Hallow-Teen

A night of frights, All Hallows Eve
Describes the night of Halloween
Skeletons, pirates, and spider-men
Kings, and queens, and cat-women
Spooky yes, it is quite true, that
Vampires & mummies would frighten you
But is this the thing we folks should fear?
Luke Sky-walkers and Brittany Spears?
Forget us not; it’s Trick or Treat &
Quite often are gifts aren’t sweet
Teepee-ing and egg shell bombs
Random muggings and absent moms
Razor candy and hit-and-run cars
That’s the effect, we know the cause
So tell me Mr. Potter, and Mrs. Costumed fright
What’s the scariest thing on Halloween Night?

Personal Experience, Personal Pain

I lie on white sheets, yet again
Both legs throbbing, chest in pain
Wondering why I’m suffering
Explicit pain for no reason
Doctors pass, and come and go
Ignoring me forever more
But, in this room my pain should go
And quote the raven "nevermore"
Should one suffer this endeavor
Lying in the emergency room
Yet, as I lie here, in this room
White surroundings, doom and gloom
I ponder why we pay these men
To slow our suffering, ease our pain
When they apparently could care less
About our agony and our distress
When they continue to come and go
Ignoring me forever more
If in this ward my pain should go
Why do I suffer so?

Twins of the Night

Brother my brother, shadow and light
Our hearts combine, our souls unite
I am you, as you are me, bound for all eternity
Our hearts our one, are souls take flight
I save you as I save my life.

Brother my brother, twins of night
Our hearts combine, our souls unite
Bound by nature, enemies of time
Aura of the world, its reason and rhyme
Joined forever like Moon and Sun
Our destinies become as one.

Brother my brother, shadow and light
Bound by nature, twins of night
I am you, as you are me, joined for all eternity
Our hearts combine, our souls unite
I save you as i save my life, for
From the darkness comes the light.

You Are Free

When you can look into the sky and thank god that you’re alive,
When you can look into the source and bring out your inner force,
When you can look into the sun and know that you are one,
Then you know that you can see.
Be grateful you are free.

When you can look beyond this earth and see what you are worth,
When you can look beyond this space and find your rightful place,
When you can view what you have done and see its just begun,
Then you know you hold the key.
Be grateful you are free.

When you can look into the sky and be thankful you survived,
When you can look into the sea and see all that you can be,
When you can look into the sun and know that we are one,
Then at last you’ll truly be.
Be grateful you are free.

When your spirit can fly free, be grateful you are free.
