Hey, thank you for taking the time to check out this beta of my story. I started this years a go. I was hoping that by posting it I could get some reviews and and pointers to make it better. I still have to notes for this story. It\'s supposed to have around 5 chapters. I plan on revising it and making it more dark and of course add more sex. yay! That\'s always good right? Well thank you in advance for reading and reviewing.

Aizaka\'s Rage

The school corridor was silent. Not a whisper could be heard. The sound of running and screaming broke the silence. \"Aahhhhh. Get away. Leave me alone.\" Eddie’s scream echoed through the hall. Eddie found himself wondering how he got into this mess as he was running down the hall

“I love you Eddie-chan.” the girls’ screams echoed. Eddie’s ears started to hurt from the screaming.

\"Slow down we wont hurt you.\" Voices chanted trying desperately to assure Eddie to slow down. The flock of distraught women were getting closer and closer and Eddie was trying his hardest not to get caught.

\"Please we just want to talk.\" The girls pleaded and they made an staggering attempt to catch up to Eddie.

\"Get me naked is more like it.\" Eddie murmured to himself. He felt his legs slip from under him as he was turning around the corner. \"Shit!!\" Eddie fell hard on his back. The girls stopped in front of Eddie.

\"Oh, we finally cached up to you darling.\" The girls said while surrounding Eddie.

\"He\'s so cute.\" The girls squealed as they started to wrestle over grabbing hold of Eddie. Some took hold of his spiky black hair messing it up.

\"Hey hands off!\" Eddie screamed as he felt hundreds of hands grabbing hold of him.

\"I have an idea let\'s get him naked.\" The girls talked to themselves. Some of the girls started pulling his plain blue t-shirt. Eddie started to feel that they were trying to take off his blue Jeans.

\"NO!!\" Eddie fought with all his strength the grip of he demented girls. He used every ounce of strength found in his body. Like by inhuman might he was able to rip himself from their grasp. He stood up and hurried down the nearby stairs while grabbing hold of his pants that were unbuttoned.

“Eddie-chan, don’t run.” The girls screamed in defeat.

Eddie almost slipped again; his substandard snickers were unfastened. Eddie finally found a door and made it to exterior of the building. He ran into the next structure. It was full of books from topmost to the base. He buttoned his Jeans up again and tied his shoes. He inspected the building. He heard a sound. He quickly turned to see what it was. Nodoka? Nodoka was putting away books up in a high shelf like she usually did. She was too busy to notice Eddie or the quiver in the ladder. Just then Eddie saw that the ladder was tilting and Nodoka was about to fall down. \"Ahhhhh!\" Nodoka screamed as she realized that she was about to fall. Eddie dove and grabbed her right before she hit the floor. With the strength of the leap Eddie and Nodoka ended up rolling. When Eddie opened his eyes he saw Nodoka was on top of him. Her long blue hair that usually covered her face was now blown back. He was caught by surprise. Whoa. I\'ve never seen her face before. Damn she\'s cute. Her face for a fleeting second hypnotized Eddie. Her cheeks were blushed, as was Eddie. Nodoka stared into Eddie\'s deep black eyes. A thought penetrated into Eddie\'s mind

\"No!! Doka-san. You don\'t realize what you are doing.\" Twump, twump, twump, twump. She kept getting closer. \"When you come to you will hate me or hate yourself or both. I don\'t want to use force but....\" Eddie felt lightheaded. Shit she doesn\'t know what she is doing. I can\'t abuse that Eddie pushed her back.

\"Eeeekkk!\" Nodoka screamed as she fell landing hard on the floor. Her simple gray skirt flew up as she fell. Eddie catches a glimpse of her white panties.

\"Sorry Nodoka-san.\" Eddie hastily ran outside. Shit that was too close. Sigh. Damn you Negi what did you do to me? Eddie thought to himself as he hid behind a wall. Just then he saw Negi walking past. Eddie swiftly ran to him and grabbed him by his lengthy coat and held him up. \"You fucking punk.\"

\"Ed.... Eddie.\" Negi\'s blue eyes widen with fear. \"I\'m sorry.\"

\"What the hell did you do to me punk?\" Eddie demanded as he shook Negi causing his ponytail to come lose exposing his orangey-yellow hair.

\"It... was a love potion. You looked so lonely and mad...\" The fright in Negi\'s voice seemed only to enrage Eddie more.

\"Give me a frikin break. I told you to leave me lone.\" Eddie continued to shake Negi up and down. Negi\'s old magician’s staff came loose and fell to the ground

\"I\'m sorry. I was just trying to help.\" Negi said with a calmer voice.

\"Did it occur to you that I wanted to be alone and not have the whole school\'s female population after me?\" Eddie shouts were becoming weaker and his grip lightened.

\"Yea but...\" Negi pleaded.

\"Whatever.\" Eddie interrupted and let Negi down. Eddie turned to leave. \"How long is this thing going to last?\"

\"I... I don\'t\' know. But when it dispels the girls wont remember anything.\" Negi said as he redid his unfastened ponytail that look trendy on him and checked his coat buttons, which resembled that of traditional Japanese buttons.

\"What! You don\'t know! You........you (sigh)\" Eddie started to walk away.

\"Eddie?\" Negi picked up his staff. Negi stood puzzled by Eddie\'s reaction. He was expecting to get dumped in a trashcan or something like it.

\"Whatever.\" Eddie walked away leaving Negi behind. \"No more helping me you hear Mr. Wizard!\" Eddie screamed while he shook his index finger.



Eddie stood outside of class. He hesitated to enter the class. He looks exceptionally nervous. He grabs hold of the doorknob and wavers before walking into class. He closed his eyes as if expecting something. When he realized it, he had been standing there for a while. He opened his yes and marveled at the fact that al the girls were still seated and didn\'t seemed to notice him. The girls talked and giggled and it seemed that the potion occurrence never happened. Good!

\"Eddie-san you may take a seat. It\'s good to see you in time, unlike the past days.\" Yang-sensei said to Eddie when he saw that he was not yet seated. Eddie sat as his seat. \"I\'m happy you made it Eddie-san. This is your senior year and you don’t want any screw-ups.” Yang-sensei spoke genuinely to Eddie. Eddie seamed not to listen

\"Whatever.\" Eddie shrugged.

“You never change, do you Eddie-san?” Yang-sensei asked Eddie. Eddie just shrugged.



\"I said leave me alone shorty!\" Eddie screamed at Negi. They were both heading to get lunch. They were walking through an open space of the school campus. The floor was almost all paved except for a few places where a few trees grew from the bare dirt.

\"...But I was wondering...\" Negi protested. He had a bewildered look on his face. Both their footsteps sounded as they walked.

\"I have enough problems with you around.\" Eddie quickened his pace.

\"Why didn\'t you beat me up?\" Negi asked with distress. He tried to keep up with Eddie.

\"I didn\'t fell like it ok.\" Eddie answered. Eddie was starting to feel awkward. He started to rub his hands. By now they had gotten close enough to see the multitude of kids trying to get their lunch. The whole thing was chaotic. Eddie and Negi were already used to it so they were able to continue their conversation undisturbed.

\"No there\'s more is in it?\" Negi insisted. Both Eddie and Negi stood in line to pick up their lunch. The sounds of laughter and chitchat surrounded them both.

\"Leave me alone I just want to eat alone.\" Eddie bought his lunch. He turned to leave. \"I said alone.\"

Negi smiled as he picked up his meal. \"You can\'t fool me Eddie-kun.\" Negi had to fight his way out of the crowd to catch up to Eddie.

\"Oh, what ever do you mean?\" Eddie mocked and made a dim-witted face of sarcasm. The sounds of the chaos began to dissolve.

\"You aren\'t such a bad guy that most think.\" Negi was enjoying the fact that he knew he was bugging Eddie.

\"Yea, prove it.\" Eddie demanded. Negi was getting to his nerves and he didn\'t want to deal with it.

“I don’t need to. You know it. You hide from the world but you aren\'t really that way.\" Negi said with melancholy in his voice.

\"What do you want?\" Eddie asked in a burst of emotion. He wanted to change the subject and get rid of Negi.

Negi and Eddie walked quietly. Eddie was amazed to see Negi hesitate on what he wanted to say. \"I want to be your friend.\" Negi blurted out.

\"What?\" Eddie was caught by surprise by Negi\'s reply. \"Wizard for a friend... I don\'t think so.\" Eddie laughed out loud.

\"Please you... you...... ok..... I understand.\" Negi said the last in a really sad tone. His face was full of misery. The way Negi said those last words moved something within Eddie.

\"(Sigh) you want to hang-around?\" Eddie asked trying to feel better about himself. Eddie\'s face was full of anxiety.

\"Really? Thanks!\" Negi\'s face lit up with glee as he looked at Eddie\'s back. Eddie had walked ahead and didn\'t want Negi to see his face.

\"Yea, whatever.\" Eddie responded. Now the only noise was of Eddie\'s and Negi\'s voice and their footsteps.

\"So why didn\'t you beat me up as you should of?\" Negi continued with the same question. He had a inquisitive expression.

Eddie was having a hard time telling Negi.\"Be.... Because... well, you were just trying to help me so....\"

\"I knew it!\" Negi interrupted. Negi jumped of joy.

“You know that is why people don’t like wizards.” Eddie said grumpily .

Negi let out a laugh. “Well you are the only one that knows. Anyway, so did you enjoy the potion?\" Negi teased Eddie.

Eddie\'s face turned red with embarrassment. \"Shut up! I never want you to talk about that incident.\" Eddie was getting mad again.

Negi smiled at Eddie\'s retort. \"I see it left a mark.\" Negi was enjoying it and let out a giggle.

\"Do you know what shut up means?\" Eddie asked as he punched Negi\'s head; making him fall forwards..



\"You\'re lucky that I\'m taking you to my favorite place.\" Eddie told Negi as they were walking up a flight of stairs. Their voices\' echoed in the distance.

\"I see.\" Negi tried his best to keep up. Negi made a face of amazement. \"Ohh whoa. You can see everything from here.\" Negi was overwhelmed by the view.

\"Yup. I like the view and the fact that it\'s so far from the world below.\" Eddie spoke serenely. Eddie and Negi were marveling at the view from a top of a building.

Negi’s face change from fascination to a somber look. \"Why do you like hiding from the rest of he world?\"

There was an awkward silence. \"Huh... Hey here\'s your lunch.\" Eddie tried avoiding the question.

Negi received his lunch from Eddie.\"Oh yea thanks. Hey! You’re avoiding my question.\" Negi protested as he started to frown.

\"It\'s a long story and I don\'t want to talk about it ok.\" Eddie said in a solemn tone. He\'s face was full of silent grief.

“Talk, it will make you feel better.” Negi\'s concern filled his voice.

\"I said No. And don\'t tempt me or I will throw you down.\" Eddie picked Negi up and motioned to the ground below.

\"Ok! Ok.\" Eddie slowly returned Negi back down. \"So changing subject. How are the girls going?\" Negi decided to leave things be. His was face full of sweat droplets.

\"Do you care?\" Eddie calmed down and gave a blank stare to the world below.

\"Well I am your friend now, so yea.\" Negi smiled and sat at the edge of the building.

\"Well there\'s always a girl who has a crush on the bad boy but I never pay attention.\" Eddie, happy to change subject, sat next to Negi.

Negi had a sinister smile. \"Ooooohhh. So Nodoka-san means nothing to you?\"

\"WHAT?! NO!\" Eddie almost fell off the building. Eddie was all red and his breathing was irregular.

\"So why are you getting so worked up?\" Negi continued with his sinister smile at the point of laughing.

“Nothing, just you were suggesting such a thing. Why you ask anyway?\" Eddie tried quickly to focus.

\"Oh nothing except what happened in the library.\" Negi\'s smile became wider.

\"How do you....?\" Eddie\'s eyes lost their regular shine.

\"Well the potion gave you a magical aura and I was able to see what you were doing.\" Negi was having fun and had to stand up or he would have fallen off the ledge


\"You punk. Spying on me were you?\" Eddie stood up and gave Negi a hellish stare.

Negi swallowed his saliva and said. \"Not on purpose. But you didn\'t seam to fight her very much until the end.\" Negi couldn\'t help but smile as he saw Eddie\'s eyes fill with anger.

\"Come here! You\'re dead pip-squeak!\" Eddie lunges to catch Negi barely missing.

Negi runs away as Eddie runs after him. \"Ahhh...\"

\"You are dead....!\" Eddie screams as Negi makes it to the stairs.

\"Please I\'ll stop! I\'ll stop! I promise.\" Negi\'s voice echoes from the stairs.



The hall was quiet except for the conversation between Negi and Eddie that echoed though. Nodoka was watching Eddie and Negi talking. She was hiding around a corner. She took peaks at them from a far. She has never have seen Eddie with a friend. The fact that he was always unkind and irritated made her more mystified. Just then Eddie and Negi started to walk toward her. She started to panic. She held her hand to her mouth covering it. \"I have to keep control.\" She whispered to herself.

\"So shorty what have you been up to anyway?\" Eddie asked Negi. He looked uninterested and sleepy.

“Nothing just studying, Magic school is hard.\" Answered energetically. He looked happy and stress free.

\"Yea sure.\" Eddie made as sarcastic face.

They both got close to the corner. Negi caught a glimpse of Nodoka. \"Look its Nodoka-san over there.\" Negi whispered to Eddie. Eddie\'s first instinct was to avoid her. No I can\'t. I must show Negi there is nothing between her and me. Eddie felt dizzy remembering the past incident. Remembering her cute, flushed face was enough to send a shiver through his body. Eddie continued to walk forward. Negi waved at Nodoka that was visibly nervous about something. \"Hi Nodoka-san.\" Negi said cheerfully.

\"Hi Eddie-san. Hi Negi-san.\" Nodoka tried her hardest to act as if that she wasn\'t nervous.

\"Whatever. Hi I guess.\" Eddie said with a unsmiling face. Eddie was able to see her face flash with sorrow before he turned to avoid her eyes.

\"Hey that wasn\'t every nice.\" Negi looked at Eddie with an annoyed look. Eddie didn\'t answer and just stared with a saddened expression upon his face. “Eddie, are you there? Oh I see you feel bad for what you did.\" Negi smiled like he just found the answer.

\"No... NO I just was thinking. That\'s all I am mean and that\'s it.\" Eddie looked puzzled. He tried his hardest to continue walking.

\"Sure....\" Negi gave Eddie a mocking look.

\"Well we better get to class.\" Eddie said trying to change the subject of the conversation.

\"Yea too bad Nodoka-san will be there too.\" Negi gave Eddie a silly smile. Eddie stared into space oblivious to anything else.



\"So Eddie can you tell me what this passage means?\" Takahata-sensei kindly asked Eddie. The classroom was full of students. Everyone focused on Eddie. Nodoka watch with anticipation.

Eddie stood and made a stupid face. \"No except that it\'s stupid.\" Negi, who was sitting next to Eddie, smiled as he saw that Takahata-sensei was frowning. A few giggles were heard in the background.

\"Eddie if I told you that if you are unsuccessful on translating it you will fail.\" Takahata-sensei said with and annoyed tone to his voice. Everyone got serious. An eerie silence surrounded the classroom.

Eddie cleared is throat and said with out changing his stupid face \"Ok. Whatever. I\'ll give it a shot. John was lonely because his friends ditched his as.. crew thing he had going. But once summer came he became a cool guy; then he got new friends and a bunch of girlfriends too.\"

\"I\'m impressed not many are able to see that on this passage. See you are smart. You just have to put it to use.\" Takahata-sensei had a bright smile.

\"Whatever, may I sit now?\" Eddie said wishing to end it.

\"Yes.\" Takahata-sensei motioned to Eddie.

Shit I hate to be the center of attention. Eddie sighed of relief as he sat down.

Negi had a big smile as he told Eddie. \"That was pretty good.\"

\"Shut up, Shorty.\" Eddie snorted to Negi.

\"Nodoka-san was looking at you.\" Negi continued to smile as he bugged Eddie.

\"I said to quit it with that.\" Eddie picked up his big heavy Japanese book and shook it in front of Negi. \"You want me to break this book on your magical melon you got there.\" Eddie had an evil smile

\"But she likes you.\" Negi continued to bother Eddie.

Eddie\'s eyes burned with revenge. He raised the book higher. \"Negi don\'t tempt me.....\"



Eddie walked angrily through a hall. A girl was following him. \"Get the hell away from me.\" Eddie screamed as he quickened his pace.

\"But I love you Eddie-chan.\" She girl pleaded as she was trying to catch up to Eddie.

\"No you are confused.\" Eddie stopped.

The girl cached up.\"But I can\'t...\"

Eddie tried hard to continue to feel anger. \"I said to leave me alone.\" He stared at the wall to his left where he saw a poster of a famous celebrity. \"Go screw with Ricky ok.\"

\"I just like his music. I like ...\" The girl looked at Eddie from behind. She was visibly upset by what Eddie was saying.

\"Don\'t you get it? No means no.\" Eddie continued to repel her. Eddie moved on and tried to get away.

\"But...\" The girl extended her hand in a useless attempt to stop him.

\"No, fuck off I got better things to do.\" Eddie finally said leaving the girl behind. The girl fell to her knees and started to weep. Eddie\'s heart felt like in a knot. Eddie walked through a door leaving the hall that was full of the sounds of the crying girl. Why don\'t they see I don\'t want to be with them. No girls for me.

Negi saw Eddie and walked to him. He noticed that Eddie didn\'t look too good. \"Are you ok man?\" Negi asked with concern.

\"Me? yea.\" Eddie tried his hardest to hide his pain.

\"You sure?\" Negi felt that Eddie was lying.

\"Yes.\" Eddie tried his hardest to fake a smile.

\"Ok\" Negi didn\'t think that Eddie really was ok but there was nothing else to do. \"Well prom is coming up soon; who are you inviting out?\" Negi asked full of curiosity.

\"No one. I don\'t like dances.\" Eddie said calmly. Both Negi and Eddie started to walk again.

Negi smiled at Eddie. \"I heard Nodoka-san was available.\"

Eddie stopped and closed his fists tight like trying to contain the urge to hurt Negi. \"You really want me to kill you and bury your bones in the ground don\'t you?\" Eddie said in a menacing voice.

Negi continued to smile. \"What? It was just a suggestion.\" Negi spotted a group of Japanese students. \"You are an exchange student and you don\'t want to try to get a Japanese girl?\" Negi gestured to the group of good-looking Japanese girls.

\"I don\'t see you getting a girl.\" Eddie said annoyed as he pointed to Negi.

\"Well the magi in learning can\'t really have relationships because it may get in the way of our studies.\" Negi explained while he looked at the girls.

\"Well a dance isn\'t like getting married.\" Eddie insisted as he took Negi\'s shoulder. Negi turned to look at him.

\"Well the one we\'re worried about is you.\" Negi smiled at him.

\"Me? I said it was fine. I don\'t need a girl, or a date, or anything else.\" Eddie said unemotionally.

\"Yea you say that but do you feel it?\" Negi asked with a glimmer in his blue eyes.

\"Again with that? Let’s just get lunch and complain about school.\" Eddie turned to walk towards the snack bar

\"Avoiding it again.\" Negi lowered his head in defeat.



Nodoka stood speaking to herself in the empty hall. \"I was just wondering if you didn\'t have a date... no no not like that. You want to be my date?\" Nodoka was rehearsing a way to ask Eddie to the prom. I know that he isn\'t like he seems. He\'s a nice guy and I really want to meet and get to know him better. Someone\'s steps where getting closer. But I\'m so shy. I\'m not worth it.... Oh no here he comes. Eddie was walking alone to get to class. \"Ah.... E.... Eddie.... I.... I was just..... wondering.\"

Eddie tried his hardest and made a serious face. \"Sorry not going to the prom. I think it\'s stupid. Not worth my money.\"

Nodoka\'s face fell. I tried my best to tell him and he still turn me down. Maybe I\'m wrong.

\"Well don\'t worry there is a room full of geeks in the computer lab. I\'m sure there\'s one or two desperate ones that will take you.\" Eddie walked way feeling bad. He thought to himself. She just doesn\'t understand. I\'ll just hurt her and ......



It’s been a few days and now Eddie found himself running like hell down campus with Negi. \"Shit got to hurry.\" Eddie said between breaths.

\"What\'s with the running?\" Negi asked as he tried hard to keep up with Eddie. Both of them ran through the open space of the school.

\"I need to get my cap and gown ordered and today is the last day.\" Eddie explained as they were getting closer to a room with \'BUY CAP AND GOWN HERE\' on the top.

\"Again waiting to the last minute.\" Negi said with a smile.

\"Shut up and hurry.\" Eddie said as he speed up to reach the long line. After getting done Eddie and Negi walk away walking through the cemented open space.

\"Phew I\'m finally done...\" Eddie said with relief in his voice. \"Let’s go up again to my favorite place. This entire thing has gotten me tired and I need to rest.” Negi nodded in confirmation and they both climbed up the stairs. Eddie and Negi sat in the edge. \"We are almost out of here?\" Eddie sounded cheerful.

\"Yea.\" Negi said in a sad tone.

\"So what do magi after they graduate?\" Eddie played with his legs pretending not to care for the answer.

\"We are assigned a special mission to become Master Magi.\" Negi said in an exited voice.

\"Ohh. Master Magi. So this is probably be the last time we have together then?\" Eddie said in a neutral voice.

\"Yea pretty much.\" Negi looked sad to say it.

Eddie smiles and says to break the sad mood. \"Finally I\'ll get rid of you.\"

\"Hey!...\" Negi gives Eddie an angry look. Eddie\'s face changes to a serious one when he spots a bunch of students running away from something. The students are screaming and crying for help.

\"What the hell is going down there? There\'s no rally to say that it\'s a riot.\" Eddie stands in the edge inspecting the crowd. His black eyes full of concentration.

Negi’s blue eyes widen with surprise. \"Oh crap what is a Frilk doing here?\"

\"Ah what?\" Eddie makes a surprised sound.

\"We studied about them they usually don\'t come to places like this.\" Negi explained as he stood.

\"Well this is the exception. So what are you waiting for?\" Eddie looked with powerful concentration at the Frilk. Eddie quickly and effortlessly jumps off the roof landing on a branch using it to swing himself down to the ground.

What was that? There\'s more to Eddie isn\'t there? Negi thought as he saw Eddie quickly dart toward the creature. Negi took out his staff, which started to hover, and he climbed on it. Soon he was flying through the air, his long coat flapping in the air. He headed down and landed in the ground.

Eddie had already made it to the beast. “Hey ass-hole, leave them alone.”

\"Grrrrr.\" The creature made a menacing sound.

\"So you want a piece of this? Come on fuck. Let’s see what you can do.\" Eddie gave the beast the middle finger. The animal lunged at him with his claws. Eddie effortlessly dodged the attacked. \"To slow...\" The animal seemed to get angrier and started to slash at Eddie. Shit he\'s fast. Eddie dodges the claws quickly. Then he stepped back and he saw an opening and he punched the creature in the face. The creature fell back with its face full of blood from the blow. The creature let out a howl and immediately jumped on Eddie. In that moment Negi got close he pointed his hand toward the creature and chanted a spell. A bolt of magical energy thundered from Negi\'s hand making a direct hit on the creature. There was a strong explosion and Negi received the deflected energy blast, landing unconscious. The creature smiled a mouth full of fangs at Eddie. \"Man, ever heard of a dentist.\" The creature got ready to strike. Suddenly Nodoka appeared. I knew he was really a good guy. She jumped and tackled the creature down. Eddie found himself in the floor. He scrambled up to see the creature had Nodoka. \"NODOKA!\" She was in the floor and the creature had his long claws above ready to strike with all its force. Eddie quickly ran and stood in front facing her and took the strike. She was confused just as the thing pierced Eddie, she saw him smile. A beautiful smile she thought. It was full of sincerity. The moment seemed to last an eternity but it soon stopped as she was squirted with Eddie\'s blood. Eddie surprisingly stood up as the creature took its claws back out. By now Negi was conscious and watching the battle. \"You never ever touch Nodoka you hear?\" Both Nodoka and Negi where perplexed when they saw what happened next. A handle of a katana blade appeared on Eddie’s back. Eddie quickly pulled it out and pointed it to the creature. The blade was inscribed with the name \'Aizaka\'. As soon as the creature saw the blade it turned to run. \"Oh no you don\'t.\" Eddie quickly ran after it as soon he was in range he swigged the blade slicing it in half. Blood spewed everywhere. Eddie stood up and returned the blade to his back and it disappeared. He soon fell unconscious.

Huh? What happened, where am I? Eddie asked himself. He was laying in the floor and Negi had just finished chanting a spell.

“He’s coming to.” Eddie heard Negi\'s voice and opened his eyes.

Eddie concentrated his thoughts and soon started to remember. \"The creature is it dead?\"

\"Yea, you killed the thing good.\" Negi said in a cheerful tone. Eddie tried to stand up. He felt stiff. \"Take it easy Eddie-kun. You were hurt bad. My healing powers don\'t work well against magical damage.\"

\"Why was that creature in the high school?\" Eddie asked as he sat up.

\"Who sent it is more like it?\" Negi looked extremely serious.

\"How do you know?\" Eddie checked his wound to see that it was mostly healed.

\"The creature was warded. Very powerful and it deflected my attack back.\" Negi said in a serious tone.

Eddie made a face of I-just-remembered-something \"Where\'s is Nodoka-san?\"

\"Don\'t worry she was taken care for.\" Negi said calmly.

\"Thanks for trying to help me.\" Eddie laid back down with exhaustion.

\"No problem. But I have a question your name isn\'t Eddie Cortez is it?\" Negi asked.

Eddie frowned, “So you saw?”

\"Yup. The Aizaka blade.\" Negi said with a certain respect.

\"Well, my name is really Edward Aizaka.\" Eddie said in an unemotional tone.

\"So you are descendant of the famous Yoshiyuki Aizaka?\" Negi said in an excited voice.

\"Yea whatever, big deal.\" Suddenly Eddie felt sleepy. He closed his eyes and went to sleep...

\"Why didn\'t you tell me before?\" Negi and Eddie were walking across campus. It hadn’t take long to recover from the wound. \"I didn\'t feel it necessary.\"

Negi suddenly jumped in front of him. \"What?! The fact you are part of the warrior family Aizaka. You consider that a small unimportant thing to mention?\"

Eddie shook his head. \"Yup. You don\'t get it.\"

\"Tell me I\'ll understand.\"

Eddie lower his head in defeat. \"*Sigh* What ever. We had hidden ourselves on the US -- hide were they least expect it they always say. We, by then, had our blood mixed with that of a Latino family. Well I grew up and almost never saw my father. My mother was killed. Our grandparents took care of my two older brothers and me. My two brothers started training since small. I gave it up soon. I told my father that I didn\'t want to be an Aizaka warrior. He said it was ok. It was easy to start my new life. I droped Edward Aizaka and picked Eddie Cortez. I went to school and became a regular person. As my brothers grew stronger I studied hard and made plans for the future. I later decided to try the student exchange program and try to get to Japan. I had a hard time but my father help me get proof that I had Japanese decent and the Japanese government accepted me. And here I am now.\"

\"Ohh... cool but there\'s still something bothering me.” Negi’s face filled with puzzlement. “You were able to pull the Aizaka blade from your back. I\'ve heard that it is a hard technique to master yet you said you never trained.\"

Eddie shrugged nonchalantly. \"Well I don\'t know the answer to that one. I\'m just able. I don\'t know why.\"

Negi shook his head and looked at Eddie. \"Maybe it\'s a sign of something.\"

Eddie glanced back and said calmly. \"I don\'t think so. I think that I would suck at being an Aizaka warrior.\"

Negi, with a sudden urgency, \"Well you never know. I heard many stories were many trained and try their hardest yet this person that never trained or anything is the chosen one. They are marked by something special.\"

\"Well I don\'t believe that bullshit. I\'m no chosen one. Next thing you\'ll tell me is that my arrival is foretold by some legend.\" Both laughed at the idea. \"Well, we\'ll be late if we don\'t hurry.\"

\"Yea, got to run.\" Negi ran to his class as Eddie walked into his.

\"I... I .. just ... wanted to thank you.\" Nodoka stood in front of Eddie her nervousness evident in her movements.

\"Don\'t worry about it. It\'s no big deal.\" Eddie found it hard to be mean to Nodoka. \"Bye.\" He turned to leave.

Nodoka extended her hand to him. \"Wait... I just wanted to ask something.\"

\"What now? I told you it\'s ok just let it go.\" As much as Eddie tried to fake annoyance it didn’t seem to come out right.

\"Why... did you... smile at me like that?\"

\"I said forget it it\'s unimportant.\" Eddie left Nodoka behind as he walked off. She\'s shy but damn she tries hard. But I said no girls. Ah Eddie you know you like her. Her shyness and innocence drives you crazy. Yea I like her a lot. I wonder how thing would be if I gave her a chance. NO! No more I don\'t want to deal with that stuff again.....

Negi walks slowly down a hall full of thoughts. As he looks up he spots Eddie walking ahead. He runs up to him and ask, \"So why did you smile at her like that?\"

Eddie\'s thoughts were interrupted by Negi. \"No reason. Hey! You were spying at me again!\" Eddie’s eyes narrowed angrily at Negi.

Negi‘s faked a innocent smile \"No I just happened to be there. So tell me the truth. I promise not to say.\"

Eddie rolls his eyes. \"Yea sure.\"

\"Yea I promise. Come on just tell me.\" Negi insists.

Eddie has always had a hard time telling people about himself and about things he considered to be his and his only. \"Well, I just felt that she helped me out so I just gave her my smile as a gift. It\'s no biggy.\"

\"What? Wait, now that I think of it, you never smile. Why didn\'t you tell that to her.\"

\"It\'s stupid cheesy crap. I don\'t need her to know. I know and that\'s it. It\'s unimportant and stupid.\" Eddie walks around Negi and starts walking.

\"Hey there\'s Eddie.\" A boy whispered to the rest of the group. \"As soon he\'s close enough we will get him and stuff him in the room. Ok?\" The rest of the group nodded in confirmation. Eddie has caught by surprise as a group of boys took hold of him and dragged him inside a room. They shut the door and locked it.

\"What in the hell! You let me out in this minute or I will rip your heads off....!\" Eddie stopped when he heard weeping coming from inside the room he was inside. Nodoka-san! \"What are you doing here?\"

\"Ed... Eddie-san? My ... friends... they put me in .... here\"

\"Those bastards. They aren\'t your friends.\"

\"It\'s... cold.\"

It is cold. Damn and I don\'t have anything to give to her. Nodoka was starting to shiver. Damn she\'ll freeze if I don\'t do something. I could sit next to her and give her warmth. He sat next to her. \"It\'s .... so .... cold...\" Damn it\'s not going to work unless I touch her. She\'ll have hypothermia if I don\'t do something. Come on just hug her nothing is going to happen. \"How did you open the door?\" The lead boy asked Eddie.

\"The question here is what the hell where you thinking ass-wipes?\"

\"Uh well we figured that Nodoka-san liked you so we decided to help her out.\"

\"No we just put the AC low so that you had to warm her up.\"

Negi was walking down the stairs. I wish I knew what was wrong with Eddie-kun. He seams so hurt and sad inside. He hides in this shell being mean and stuff pushing people way. Thousands of graduation hats flew into the air. Screw that I\'m not throwing my hat and getting it stepped on. It cost me money. Eddie Stood walking off to meet Negi since the graduation ceremony had ended. \"Hey was up Negi?\"

\"That was some ceremony.\"

\"Yea and it\'s just high school. What a waste of money.\"

\"Well not many make it this far from where you come from.\"

\"Yea so? I still have some time to go so this is only the begging.\"

\"Yea.\"

\"Well lets take a pic then. Since you are going to become a great Magi, this pic may be worth some.\"

\"I\'m going to Nodoka-san.\"

\"Oh finally you made up your mind since you are probably never see her again.\"

Nodoka turn in surprise to see Eddie standing behind her. \"Hi... Ed... Eddie-san.\"

\"Oh I\'m glad to see that Doka has friends.\" A man that was standing next to a woman with blue hair.

\"Oh you must be Mr. Miyazaki and Mrs. Miyazaki.\"

\"Yes. And we are very happy to see that Nodoka had friends. She usually is alone and we would like her to be around kids her age.\"

\"Well I\'m not really a friend, we just spoke a few times and I thought I was a good idea to take a picture of her and me just for memories. If it\'s ok with Nodoka-san.\"

\"...It\'s ...ok\" Nodoka nodded. \"

Ah don\'t be modest. We were very surprise to see that Nodoka had a male friend. Well I need to go I\'ll be back. Don\'t leave before saying bye to me ok.\" Mr. Miyazaki left. Mrs. Miyazaki got ready to take the picture.

\"Honey pull your hair back more. You don\'t want to be remembered as the girl with hair covering her face. Yea that\'s much better.\" Flash! The picture was taken.

\"Me too.\" Eddie was surprise to feel that Mr. Miyazaki had a paper in his hand and had left it in his hand.

\"Yes.\" Eddie turned and left. When he believed he was in a safe distance he took the paper and looked at it. It was a note.

\"No but unless it\'s Jesus himself I\'m not changing my plans for some old man.\"

\"Eddie, Magus is the person in charge of everything. Of the schools, of helping people, of many things that even I don\'t know about.\"

\"Saturday is fine Magus-dono will be waiting early for you two.\" The man interrupts the argument.

\"Yes we won’t let him down.\" Negi says as the man left.

\"So what the hell does the old guy want with us anyway?\" Eddie ask Negi.

\"I don\'t know, it\'s rare for a student to get a chance to meet him face to face. So I\'m in really big trouble or I did something really good. What bothers me is why does he want to see you?\"

\"I don\'t know old people think funny. So where\'s the food?..........\"

Eddie found himself in front of Nodoka\'s home. How the hell do I get involved in these things anyway? Knock, knock.

\"He\'s here.\" He heard Mr. Miyazaki speaking from inside. The door opened.

\"Right this way. Quickly please.\" Eddie followed Mr. Miyazaki to the living room and up some stairs. He stopped in front of a room. \"She\'s inside. I\'ll leave you guys alone...\" Mr. Miyazaki left.

Alone? What the hell is he thinking. \"Nodoka-san! Are you in there?\" Nodoka was in her bed weeping. She stopped as soon as she heard Eddie.

\"Ed... Eddie?\"

\"Yea it\'s me. I just got here. Your parents told me that you hadn\'t come out of your room after graduation. I was just hoping that maybe we could talk about it.\" She felt so excited. Eddie was right outside of her room and wanted to talk to her. \"So, may I come in?\" She slowly walked toward the door and she shuttered with anticipation. She slowly opened the door and let Eddie come in. She avoided eye contact. This was easier than I expected. Eddie thought to himself.

\"Yes! He did it.\" Mr. Miyazaki told Mrs. Miyazaki. Mr. Miyazaki was spying on Eddie.

Looks like a regular girl’s room He came next to a pile of papers. He was about to touch the first one when he was interrupted my Nodoka.

He began to feel dizzy. Got... to... keep... control.... I can\'t let her get to me. \"Well I don\'t know why you are this way. I\'ll just tell you one thing. It\'s not worth it. You hear. You shouldn\'t do this to yourself. Whatever it is or whoever it is, is not worth it. These guys mean busyness. \"Well that\'s great and all. But I can\'t have a relationship right now.\"

\"Well I\'m going off and where I\'m going is dangerous. I couldn\'t drag Nodoka down with me. I just wouldn\'t feel right.\"

\"What if she is willing to go?\"

\"Well as her parents wouldn\'t you want her to be safe?\"

\"Yes, but she is a grown woman and she can make the choices she wants. We must respect that.\"

\"I guess if she wanted to go. But no I can\'t put her in danger.\" Eddie was feeling uncomfortable. Not only was he telling a lie, these people didn\'t back off. \"Oh look at the time. I need to go home.\"

\"I\'m sorry it\'s the rule.\"

“Please Eddie-kun just give Nodoka a chance.\"

\"Sorry. I can\'t I just couldn\'t.\"

\"Sorry Mr. Miyazaki. I can\'t. I wish but no....\" I said no girl would get to me again and this is no exception. Eddie walked to his car and left. *Sigh*

\"It\'s Magus-dono.\"

\"He\'s just an old guy.\"

\"Eddie promise me that you will treat him with the outmost respect.\"

Eddie and Negi arrived to the office. \"This is it.\" Negi sounded excited.

\"So what are we waiting for?\" Eddie stepped inside. He found an old man in wizard’s robes sitting on a big chair in front of desk. Both Eddie and Negi sat in a chair

\"Ohh... It\'s Eddie-kun and Negi-kun.\"

\"Ah yes sir.\" Eddie spoke while Negi was too overwhelmed in the presence of The Magus himself.

\"I don\'t suppose you know why you are here?\"

\"Nope. Mr. Magus-dono.\"

\"Well I have chosen Negi\'s first mission to become Master Magi.\"

\"Oh I see. If you don\'t mind me asking, if it has do to with Negi why am I here?\"

\"Good question Eddie-kun.\"

\"Well the answer is simple. The mission is to protect the Mahora Shrine.\"

\"Protect the Mahora Shrine? But that’s the toughest of all the first missions.” Negi had snapped out of it when he heard the mission.

\"Yes it is. You were chosen Negi-kun.\"

\"But I\'m not a good Magi. I thought that that mission was offered only to the student with the highest score.\"

\"Yes, well there\'s more to it than grades Negi-kun. We have chosen you for other reasons.\"

\"Sorry to butt in. But I still don\'t see why I should be here.\"

\"Ah yes Eddie-kun or better yet Edward-sama.\"

\"What?! How did...?\"

\"Edward-sama the mission that was assigned to Negi if he is to accept it, it requires someone else to accompany him. I saw that Negi-kun had an Aizaka warrior as a friend I thought it was good idea to call you up too.\"

\"Well to tell you the truth I\'m not really an Aizaka warrior.\"

\"But you were able to pull the Aizaka blade.\" \"

Yes I don\'t know why but I\'m able to do that. I never trained.\"

\"I see.\" Magus sat back. If this is true then.... \"So will you both accept the mission?\"

\"I know that Negi-kun can do it. But I don\'t know about me. Well Negi-kun if you want I\'ll help you.\"

\"I wouldn\'t ask such a thing...\"

\"Ah don\'t worry about it. I guess it was a good dream while it lasted but my blood marks me.\" I see a very strong bond between these two. They will need it. But there\'s still something missing to make this complete. If it does happen then I\'ll know for sure. \"Well if you do it I\'ll do it.\"

\"Well I guess we are going to do this thing.\"

\"So?\"

\"Yes, Magus-dono. I accept.\"

\"I do too.\"

\"Good. Rest, you will leave in a month.\" That will give them enough time. I hope this is it. Both Eddie and Negi sat up to leave.

\"Bye. Magus-dono.\" They both said at the same time.

\"Bye Edward-sama and Negi-kun.\" Eddie and Negi were walking down the hall. \"Thanks...\"

\"For what?\"

\"For everything.\"

\"Ah don\'t mention it.\"

\"Why do you devalue yourself.\" \"

The way I see it you’re my friend. I ran away from my Aizaka heritage long enough. It\'s no big deal. I just able to do it and there\'s no reason to glorify it or anything in that manner.\"

\"Thanks. But I don\'t think I\'ll be....\" \"

Shut up, shorty. You are more than capable.\"

\"But nothing. You\'ll be a Master Magi in no time and I won’t hear otherwise.\"

Eddie was in his pajamas. Negi was preparing breakfast. They decided to be roommates after they accepted Magus mission. \"Why the hell did I agree to this?\"

\"We wanted to get used living with each other before the mission started.\"

\"No you want to bother me 24/7. So why is this mission so hard that it requires two people to go?\"

\"Oh protecting the Mahora Shrine is one of the toughest missions there is for beginners. You must protect it with you life. Creatures and evil things constantly attack it.\"

\"Why?\"

\"Because it\'s source of magical energies.\"

\"Well, wouldn\'t more powerful beings want the energy?\"

\"No. It’s too little. Powerful beings have their own source. Smaller creatures have a harder time getting it. So they attack the Shrine.\"

\"Well it doesn\'t sound so tough.\"

\"You don\'t get it. We will pass sleepless nights protecting it. Not eat for days some times. Not many are able to pass the mission with out some extra help. A more powerful Magi will be there to help us if we need it.\"

\"Not eat? This sucks.\" \"

No girl either.\"

\"What is that supposed to mean Shorty?\"

Knock, knock. \"Who is that?\"

\"Negi walked toward the door. He opened the door and had a surprised look on his face.

\"Hi, Nodoka-san. What brings you here?\" Negi turn to Eddie with a big smile. What the hell is she doing here Eddie made signals to tell her he wasn\'t here. \"Eddie? Yes he\'s here Mr. Miyazaki.\"

\"Ah there you are Eddie.\" Both Mr. Miyazaki and Nodoka walked in.

What the hell is he carrying. Looks like they are about to go to a trip Eddie was confused to see them both there. \"Soo.... what is it...?\"

\"Oh, Eddie-kun I spoke with Nodoka and she told me that she wouldn\'t mind going with you.

What? No this can\'t be. No no... I try to get rid of her and now nooo. Eddie was frozen stuck staring into empty space.

\"Where did he say he was going?\"

\"Oh... Negi right....?\" Negi smiled.

\"Well Eddie said that he didn\'t want her to go with him because she would be in danger. I told him that if she accepted would he let her go. And he said yes.\" No I didn\'t. Well if you think about it I really didn\'t say yes or no.

\"Ohhhh I see.\"

\"Well I don\'t think she.....\"

\"No I think she can.\"

I\'ll get you for this Negi.

\"Oh that\'s wonderful.\"

\"I just need to speak to Magus-dono.\"

\"Oh I see. Well I need to go. Here are her things. I hope to hear from you when you speak to this Magus character.\" Mr. Miyazaki.

\"So Eddie are you happy that Nodoka-san is coming?\"

\"I said shut up. I\'ll kill you for this.\"

\"Not in front of a lady.\" Eddie was growing really annoyed.

\"Why did you tell Mr. Miyazaki that?\"

\"Because it\'s true.\"

\"How do you know?\"

\"I don\'t know how I know I just do.\"

\"Oh don\'t tell me you are psychic.\"

“I don\'t know. Well I guess I\'ll tell Nodoka-san what she is getting herself into.\" Eddie stood up and looked at Nodoka.

\"You have no idea what you are getting yourself into.\" Eddie felt extremely tired and dizzy. \"I just want you to know that if you accept to come with us I promise that I will protect you at all cost.\" Eddie, saying this, turned to his room. He felt he needed to rest bad.

\"Th....tha. thanks.\"

He was able to hear her say.

\"So how are we going to sleep?\"

\"I\'ll stay in the couch and Nodoka will sleep in my room.\" Eddie spoke while avoiding Nodoka\'s eyes.

\"Ok then. I\'ll speak with Magus tomorrow and see what he says. Good night.\" Negi left for his room. Nodoka walked to Eddie\'s room. She hesitated. \"Don\'t worry I don\'t have guy stuff in there.\" She felt dizzy thinking that she was about to sleep in Eddie\'s room. \"It doesn\'t stink either.\" She turned around and spoke.

\"Th.. thank you.\"

\"Don\'t mention it.\" Eddie tried his hardest to hide emotion from his voice. She went inside.

\"Nodoka-san?\" Eddie woke up to a noise.

\"I... I.. I\'m afraid...\"

\"There\'s nothing to be afraid of. There\'s no buggy-man here.\" Eddie turns himself around so he didn\'t have to see her silhouette in the moonlight.

\"I .. can\'t sleep... I just wanted to know.... if... it was.. ok... you could... sleep in ... the .. room... in... the floor.\"

\"No. I wish I could.....\"

\"Oh ok....\" The sadness in her voice shook Eddie\'s body. \"Ok ok the floor...\" Eddie stood up and made it in his room and laid in the floor to sleep. Nodoka got in the bed. She felt so calm. Eddie was inside with her. She felt so safe. She remembered what Eddie said to her. \'I just want you to know that if you accept to come with us I promise that I will protect you at all cost.\' She quickly fell a sleep. Eddie had a harder time sleeping. Damn it, damn it, damn it. Why, why, why? I just can\'t get rid of her............. Eddie finally fell asleep.

When he woke he found Nodoka right next to him in the floor. Eeeeeeeeeee... What the hell is she doing here?! Eddie contained his urge to scream. He quickly closed his eyes to avoid watching her face while she sleeps. Damn it. She looked so beautiful and calm sleeping there. I thought she was shy though. Eddie felt that Nodoka was moving. Is she asleep still? He was able to hear her whisper.

\"Oh.... no.... what... am I .. doing here...?\" He felt her get up and get on the bed. Oh she must have done it in her sleep. Now the question is why? She likes you duh. Yea I know that. But I hope she doesn\'t try to pull things like that again. Once Eddie felt that Nodoka was asleep again he made his way outside.

\"So what were you doing?\"

\"What? No it isn\'t what it seems.\"

\"Yea sure.\" Negi said it in a sarcastic tone.

\"Really.\"

\"Whatever you guys took long. I already talked to Magus. He said that he needs to see her first.\"

\"Damn it. I told you I don\'t want her to go.\"

“But you like her.”

\"No I don\'t. I just don\'t want her to get hurt.\"

\"She won’t. And your little speech to protect her?\"

\"I told her that because I would feel bad if she got hurt because of me.\"

\"Any who. Get ready. We need to go....\"

\"So this is Nodoka Miyazaki?\" Magus was studying Nodoka.

\"Yes sir.\" But she is the mirror image of.....

\"I see. So she wants to accompany you two as well?\"

\"Yes.\"

I knew it. Now it begins. \"Yes she may accompany you.\"

\"Thanks you sir.\" Negi was the one speaking Eddie was silent.

Now I\'m stuck to her good.

\"Good luck, the three of you. You will need it in the road ahead of you.\"

\"Thanks Magus-dono.\" The three left Magus.

Once home. Negi called Mr. Miyazaki, which sounded ecstatic over the phone. \"Well this is it. Here it begins our new lives.\" Negi spoke to Eddie and Nodoka.

\"Yea whatever.\" Eddie stood to leave. He turns to Negi and Nodoka. \"We are going to kick some major magical butt.\"


Done finally, so how do you like it? This is the beginning of my third story. Yea I booted the other idea and went for this new one. Well I just want to know what you liked the most and what you liked the least. What I should change and not definitely not change.
