Ode to Madness
DISCLAIMER: This is a poem, not a story. It has no plot, no characters, no connectedness and a lousy rhyme scheme. It comes strictly out of the creative goop in my mind I scrape up every once in a while, so if it makes no sense whatsoever, that is why.
An Ode to Madness
Insanity is quite becoming when it\'s all you see.
Insanity is beautiful when it looks at thee.
Insanity is all around us sea to shining sea.
Insanity, I think, will drown us within all it be.
Insanity, I bid thee leave, though it bids leave to me.
Insanity, I think, will make us all one into three.
Insanity, I think, will make us all be free.
Insanity, my friend, shall take us up a tree.
Insanity bids leave to me and comes back just the same does he.
Insanity is quite becoming wouldn\'t you agree?
