Nikalie stared at the clock on his bedside table. /two A.M/ he thought. /Time to leave. / He sat up and ran a comb through his tangled mass of shoulder length silver hair.
He braided the long strands and wrapped a dark blue bandanna around his forehead to keep his unruly bangs out of his gold flecked blue eyes. Quietly he stood and opened the window and stared down at the grass two stories below him. He took a deep breath and calmly leapt from the window ledge, landing gracefully on all fours, cat-like and completely unharmed.

Kal placed his hand on Nikalie’s shoulder. “Where do you think you’re going?” he whispered into the silver haired man’s ear. His long black hair fell over his emerald green eyes as he spoke.

Nikki brushed off the older man’s hand. “Why do you care?” Blue-gold eyes looked into green ones as the silver haired youth turned to face Kal. “I should ask you what you are doing out here at such an ungodly hour.” ‘Why is it that every time I try to ignore the effect your very presence has on me, you show up and make the whole godfuckingdamned thing worse?’ “Where I am going has no meaning to you, so if you don’t mind.” He paused to flick his silver braid back over his shoulder. “I’ll be leaving now, Fare thee well.” He turned on his heel, preparing to leave.

Kal grabbed Nikalie’s arm and pulled him in front of him. “You’re right, it is none of my business and I don’t mean to sound like a snitch, but if you don’t tell me, I will tell your parents.” The older man grinned. “As for me being out here this late, Daymon wanted to see me.”

The younger man pulled his arm away. “I just intended to go for a walk down to the lake. Is that such a crime?” ‘Though I’m really going down there to avoid you.’ “Oh and why the hell did Daymon want to see you? Exchanging advice?” ‘I shouldn’t have gone there. My temper’s getting away from me.’

“Right at two o’clock in the morning you just going for a walk… Do you honestly think I’m gonna buy that?” Kal asked, his grin widened.

“Why can’t you just let me be?” Nikalie had to force himself not to punch a whole in Kal’s grinning face. ‘I wish you would stop this. All I want is to have some time to THINK. I just- don’t know myself anymore.’

Kal’s grin faded. “If you want to go, go. I need to get to Daymon anyway, I promised Daniel I’d be back in an hour. He hates it when I lie to him.” The dark haired man smiled at Nikalie, not moving from where he stood.

“Oh yes, wouldn’t want to keep Daniel waiting.” ‘Here we go again. Okay breathe. Don’t lose your temper.’ Nikki couldn’t mask the venom in his voice as he said those words. ‘I’m such an idiot. No I am NOT jealous. We’ve been through this.’

“You’re cute when you’re nervous.” Kal said as he smiled again, his black hair falling over his eyes.

“I-AM-NOT-NERVOUS!” The younger man spat, silver bags falling into his eyes.

“Yeah, sure you’re not.” Kal said as he started walking away.

“Go on! Go and enjoy your fuck buddy’s company!” Nikalie turned and fled into the woods. ‘One of these days I’m going to murder that bastard.’

“Or, on second thought…” Kal said as walked back towards the younger man. “Maybe I should go with you. Make sure nothing bad happens to you.”

“Why follow me? Don’t you need to return to Daniel?” He spat out Daniel’s name like a curse. “Besides I don’t need a guardian.” ‘If he doesn’t quit I just might kill him.’

“Fine have it your way.” Kal said as he walked away from the younger man.

‘I’m going to regret this but…’ “Hey Kal, wait!” Nikki ran to catch up with the older male.

Kal turned around slowly. “Yes?” he asked, his eyes focused on Nikalie. “Did you change your mind?”

Nikki looked down at the ground. “I- yes.” He mumbled.

Kal looked at him and smiled. “What made you change your mind?”

“Why must I tell you everything?”
Kal moved closer to Nikalie and cupped his chin. “You’re lucky I have a lover.” The dark haired man said softly dropping his hand.

‘Sometimes I wish you didn’t.’ The younger man rested his head on Kal’s shoulder.

Kal tucked a finger under Nikki’s chin, pulling him closer and kissed him fully on the lips. “If I didn’t have a lover… You’d be mine.”

‘Oh how I long to be yours…’ The younger man laid his head on Kal’s shoulder.

Kal moved his hands to the back of Nikalie’s head, grabbed his braid and pulled his head back so he could kiss the younger man’s neck. Nikki gasped softly, but did not pull away.

The dark haired man smiled as his arms wrapped themselves around the silver haired man’s waist, pulling him closer to his chest. “And here I thought you hated me…”

The younger man looked up into Kal’s eyes. “Who said I didn’t?” ‘No my brain doesn’t count! I could never really hate you…’

“Well, you were sure acting like you didn’t hate me a few seconds ago.” Kal answered as he tightened his grip on Nikalie’s waist and kissed him again. The silver haired man let out a soft moan and wrapped his arms around the older man’s neck. “We shouldn’t be doing this.” Kal said as he pushed the younger man away. “I mean, what if Daniel sees us? You have no idea what it’s like when he starts accusing me of cheating on him.”

Nikalie looked down. ‘Damn it….Daniel always gets in the fucking way…’ “You are right. We should not do such things. Wouldn’t want to make Daniel angry now would we?”

“Sounds like someone’s jealous.” Kal said looking at the silver haired man and smiling.

Nikalie’s face reddened slightly. “I’m NOT jealous!”

“Uh huh, sure you’re not.” Kal said as he cupped the younger man’s chin. “Daniel leaves in a few days; he wants to go visit his parents. So whether or not you come to the house is entirely up to you.”

“W-why would you invite me over? I-I don’t understand.”


“Think about it... we’ll be all alone, no Daniel, nobody to disturb us.” Kal whispered softly, brushing his lips gently over Nikalie’s mouth.

The silver haired youth shivered and looked up into Kal’s eyes. “How?” he whispered. “How did you discover my true feelings about you?”

“I am related to Daymon you know, and I can read your mind…”

“Then you know… you know that I want to belong to you. I don’t care if you love me, I just- I just….”

“As much as I would love to have you. I have Daniel and I love him…” Kal answered softly, kissing the younger male on the cheek.

The younger man clenched the dark haired man’s shirt. “I don’t need your love… only you… only you…”

Kal wrapped his arms around Nikalie and kissed him firmly on the lips. “Come to the house Friday night, okay? Daniel should be gone by then.”

“A-alright.” Nikalie whispered looking up into Kal’s green eyes. “But you will have to guide me there, for I do not know the way. I’m not allowed to leave the manor remember? Not until my training is complete and it has just begun.”

“How about I pick you up instead? That way we’ll know for sure that Daniel’s gone.”

“Alright, but you’ll have to talk to my mother.”

“Okay, I better get home before Daniel freaks out. I’ll see you later.” Kal said kissing Nikalie one more time on the lips.

The silver haired youth smiled and softly kissed the older male back. “Alright. Go home. I really don’t want you getting in any trouble. I shouldn’t be out here in any case.”

Kal smiled. “Thanks.” He said as he started walking away from Nikalie.

Nikki watched Kal walk away. “Why do I feel like this?” he whispered to himself. Shaking his head, the young man slipped back into the manor. ‘Now let’s try and not get caught going back to my room.’

“Daniel?” Kal whispered as he walked into the house and softly closed the door behind him. The bedroom door opened and a dark brown haired young man stood in the door frame rubbing his eyes.

“You’re late.” He said softly.

“I’m sorry. I lost track of time. Will you forgive me?”

The younger man walked over to him and smiled. “Of course.”

Kal smiled back and wrapped his arms around his lover. “I love you.” He said as he pressed his lips against the brunette’s,

“I love you Kal.”

“Now go back to sleep Danny.”

On Friday night, Kal stood in the hall way waiting patiently for Nikalie, his black haired was tied back in a neat ponytail, but his bangs still fell over his eyes. Nikalie bounded down the stairs, his silver hair messily tied back, it was obvious that he had not bothered to brush it. “Sorry about the wait Kal I just-” There was a sound of pots falling from the kitchen. “Overslept.” He finished.

“Avren, that’s it! Get the hell out of my kitchen. NOW!” Mimi’s voice boomed from inside the kitchen, she walked out of her lair, her curls pulled up on top of her head, drying her hands on a dish towel. When she saw Kal, she smiled. “Oh, hello Kal. How long are you going to be stealing my son away for?”

Nikki winced. ‘Why do I have a feeling she knows way too much about what’s going on here?’

“That depends,” Kal answered as he smiled at Nikalie. “How long can I have him for?”

“As long as he’s with you it doesn’t really matter, just as long as he doesn’t skip his training tomorrow afternoon!”

Nikki winced again. “It was NOT my fault yesterday. I overslept….again.”

Kal smiled at the silver haired youth again. “Are you ready?” He asked softly as he started to leave.

“Yes, just lead the way.”

The dark haired man took Nikalie by the wrist and walked with him outside. “Daniel left earlier then I thought he would.”

Nikalie tilted his head to the side. “He left earlier than planned? Wonder why?”

“It’s his way of saying, ‘I’m leaving early so I can get back home to you quicker.’ I know him too well.” Kal said as he stopped and wrapped his arms around the younger man’s waist. “But I want to know you, I want to know everything. What you like, what you don’t, what turns you on… everything.”

Nikki smiled. “I must warn you, I don’t give up my secrets easily. You may have to force them from me.” The younger male looked up into Kal’s eyes, smiling playfully.

“That can be easily done.” The dark haired man said as he tilted Nikki’s head back and captured his lips.

Nikalie coiled his arms around Kal’s neck and kissed him back. “Go ahead and try.”

Kal’s hands slid slowly down to the silver haired teen’s waist and pulled him close. “Let’s get to my place first, then you’ll see how conniving I can be.”

“Let us play this game, I am not often beat.” The youth placed a hand on his hip and the other brushed away his silver bangs, a cocky smile painted his lips.

Kal took the young man’s hand and walked with him into the forest. “We’re almost there.”

Nikki looked up at Kal as the walked. “Why did you choose to live out here? There’s plenty of room in the manor. And don’t say because of my mother’s cooking, Avren’s already threatening to move out if she doesn’t start making more to eat.”

“I moved out because I wanted my own place and privacy.” Kal said softly. “Besides, I wanted to be alone with Daniel more. If you know what I mean.”

“Ah, I understand.” The silver haired youth said, trying not to become over run with jealously. He wanted to go on about Kal preferring to be Daniel than himself, how Kal could not see that the one he grew up with felt so strongly for him.

When they got to the house, the older man shut the front door and walked into the kitchen. “Can I get you something to drink Nikki?”

The youth blushed at the use of his nickname. “Sure, anything’s fine.” Nikki called, seating himself on the couch.

Kal walked over to the younger man and handed him a class of water. “You’re cute when you blush.” He said drinking from his own glass.

The younger man ignored the comment and sipped from his glass.” You have yet to try to pull any of my secrets from me.”
Kal set the glass down and wrapped his arms gently around the young boy. \"Why must you play these games with me? But don\'t worry, you can play hard to get as much as you like. I can very easily get you to give in to me.\" The older man said as he kissed Nikalie\'s right ear. The silver haired youth gasped at the sensation. A wave of heat swept through him bringing along with it both desire and lust.
Kal looked down at the young man and smiled. \"Are you going to give in or do I have to force you?\"
\"W-what do you want from me? What is it that you wish to know?\" Nikki breathed giving in.
\"Everything.\" Kal whispered as he walked over to the other side of the couch, knelt down on his knees and kissed Nikalie.
Nikki pulled away slightly. “Why are you doing this? You said you loved Daniel.\"
\"I do love Daniel, but Nikki, you have no idea what I feel about you.\" Kal said as he brushed his lips gently over they young man\'s.
Nikalie looked into Kal\'s eyes. \"You right, I don\'t know how you feel.\" A smile found its way onto the younger man\'s lips. \"You\'ll have to show Me.\" the silver haired youth leaned over and sealed his lips on the older man\'s.
\"Fine then I will...\" Kal said as his arms wrapped around Nikalie\'s waist as he leaned the younger man back on the couch.
Nikki let out a startled gasp.
\"I don\'t want to do anything you\'re not comfortable with, I need a real answer. Yes or no.\" Kal asked as his hand slid slowly up the young man\'s shirt.
The silver haired youth arch his back. \"Nnn... yes...\"
Kal smiled and started unbuttoning Nikki\'s shirt with his teeth.
Nikki laughed. \"Here let me help you with that.\"
Kal looked into Nikalie\'s eyes and stood up. \"I hope you don\'t mind the couch, I\'d take you in the room but- it\'s kinda messed up because of me looking for my clothes.\"
Nikalie finished unbuttoning his shirt and tossed it aside. \"Honestly, I don’t mind at all.\"
\"Okay...\"Kal said as he looked down at Nikalie.”Lay down for me.\"
\"A-alright.\" the younger man did as he was told. \"Kal, I\'m scared.\"
Kal caressed Nikki\'s cheek. \"Don\'t be, if you can\'t handle it, I\'ll stop. I promise you, I\'ll stop.\"
\"I trust you.\"
Kal slowly lowered himself on top of Nikalie and ran his hand gently down the young man\'s chest. \"You\'re so beautiful Nikki...\"
Nikki arched his back. \"I-I\'m not really...\"

Kal looked at Nikalie and kissed his forehead. \"You\'re not what?\"

\"Well, now you have.\" the dark haired man said as his hand moved gently down the silver haired man\'s chest. \"Do you love me Nikki?\"
\"Yes...\" The younger man breathed. \"Yes Kal, I do love you.\"
\"That\'s sad to hear... you must hate the fact that you\'re gonna sleep with someone who you might never be with.\" the older man said as he removed his pants and tossed them on the floor with the rest of the other clothing.

\"Kal...\" Nikki whispered, laying a hand on the older man\'s arm.
Kal looked down at Nikki. \"It\'s okay, go home, I’ll see you tomorrow. I have to talk to him.\"
\"Kal but...\"
\"Please...\"
The younger man sighed. \"Alright, but I don’t wish to leave.\"
\"I\'ll come see you tomorrow after your training k?\"
\"Oh alright. You better.\" Nikki said as he stood and dressed.
\"I promise.\" Cal said as he reached over and kissed Nikki one last time.
\"Bye...\" Nikalie turned and left the house.
Kal watched as Nikalie disappeared, then walked over to the bedroom door. \"Honey, come on let me in.\"

\"Go away!\"

\" Please, baby...\" The older man asked as he leaned up against the door. \"Open the door.\"

\"I said go away!\" Daniel yelled.

\"Danny...come on baby, let\'s talk.\"

\"There\'s nothing to talk about!\"

\"Please?\"

Kal shook his head, he walked over to the cupboard to get a key, then returned to the door. \"Daniel, I\'ve locked myself out of my room enough times to know how to get back in.\" Kal said as the door opened.

\"I don\'t want to talk to you.\" The younger man said as he buried his face in his pillow and started crying.

\"Daniel...\" Kal whispered as he walked over his lover and ran his fingers through his brown hair. “Look at me...\"

\"How could you do this to me?\" Daniel asked as he slowly looked up from the pillow at Kal. \"How could you cheat on me and then act like nothing\'s happened.\"

\"I\'m not acting like nothing happened.\" Kal said as he looked into Daniel\'s eyes. \"I take full responsibility for what I\'ve done and I\'m sorry. You could at least give me credit for that.\"

\"Give you credit? For what, cheating on me!?\" Daniel asked as he sat up, his eyes full of tears. \"I can\'t believe you did this to me... what have I done? What have I done to you to deserve this?\"

\"Babe, come here.\" Kal said as he held out his hand. \"You know you\'re the only one I want. I don\'t want to lose you because of a mistake I made. If you want me to stay away from Nikki, fine, it\'s done. You want me to stay away from my family? I\'ll do that too. I would walk through fire for you and you know it.\"

The brunette wiped his eyes and leaned into his lover\'s chest. \"You know I love you Kal, I\'m just in shock that you would do such a thing.\"

\"Please don\'t be mad at me love, please?\"

\"I just need to be alone for a while, I need to be away from you.\"

\"If that\'s what you want I\'ll do it.\" Kal said as he kissed the younger man on the cheek and left the room.

\"Thanks...\" Daniel whispered softly as he lay back down.
