Which is the TRUE God?
Has anyone ever wondered which religion is really true? I mean, my mum is so set that Christianity is the ‘true’ religion, but when I ask her how she knows, she just tells me that she can ‘feel the grace of God, and she just knows.’ But don’t you think that Muslims can feel the grace of Allah and know that their religion is true, or Buddhists can feel Buda, and all the other religions and their gods? How does one really *know* what religion is really true, if any are? I’ve always been brought up as a Christian, but now I’m starting to have these thoughts. Everyone whom is a TRUE follower of any religion swears they can ‘feel’ the presence of their god, but what about real proof? All there is to prove the existence of any gods are books that were written hundreds of years ago by ‘profits’ who
say that their ‘god’ told them what to write.
Now, what really worries me is what if I’m following the wrong religion? What if there is no God, but there is an Allah? Does that mean I’m going to go to hell, or where ever Muslims go after death? How can anyone be *sure* they belong to the right religion? Almost everyone who follows a religion has the same conviction as other people who follow other religions that theirs is right. Does anyone have an answer for me? I really want to know these things. Please review and tell me what makes your religion the right religion?
P.S.
I didn’t mean to offend anyone with my talk of religion, and if I did, I’m sorry. You should cherish that, I usually don’t apologize for offending people, and I probably won’t ever do it again.
