Mordecai

Forsaken Citadel
( All Characters are original and my own property.)
By Rudhheledion

His golden eyes gazed up at the source of the shadow that covered him. Great spiralling towers jutted out of the castle like fangs from the mouth of some primordial hell beast. The jagged, sharp walls of Castle Lynn gleamed black even under the sunlight. As though not even the sun could dim the darkness that hung over the very soul of the castle. There was no movement in the building nor sign of life. It was said one of the Nobility had come to dwell in this castle over a year ago. Victims had been found in the village with two puncture marks upon their necks, and their bodies completely drained of all life fluids. But for several centuries before now it had been empty. He had come here to investigate the accuracy of the reports. One group of villagers claimed it was bandits while the other adamantly believed that the Nobility had returned after their many centuries of absense. The question was what transient dweller now took it\'s residence there.
The golden eyed hunter pulled the blue leather cloak down over himself tighter, feeling a slight chill abruptly appear and vanish. The slender youth\'s first suspicions were that some bandit had taken up residence in the old castle from the report. However, his instincts warned him that something was not quite right at all in the small village and this castle that so proudly stood before him. He knew the building most likely was still here out of the villager\'s fear. Thousands of years of pyschological terror of the demons and nobility was a hard thing to erase in a matter of minutes or even a few decades. And now some unknown darkness abode in the once empty halls and corridors of the castle.

His ghost white hands pushed at the heavy black doors of iron. He frowned as they didn\'t even budge. He hated to waste his power. But the golden eyed youth knew that he would never find the solution if he didn\'t get to the root of the problem.
The youth stepped back for a minute. His golden eyes closed as he concentrated. He spoke in an archaic language that only one of the Nobility would know. His pale left hand raised up towards the massive iron door of the black fortress that had once been home to a Nobleman and possibly his family of bloosucking relations. A gale wind raised up around the slender, tall youth. His arm shot forward as he took a solitary step towards the doors. The gale battered at the door. A large crimson symbol appeared upon the door as the wind abruptly died down.
\"Hmm. Protection barrier.\" He said to himself. His eyelids slowly opened. Apparently it would not be so easy as the youth had hoped to enter into the castle after all. He sat crosslegged for a moment; trying to remember how his grandmother had told him the way to get passed the barriers that the Nobility often employed for their protection during the daylight hours. He stood up a faint smile upon his lip at the memory. He moved forward. His hands reached inside his inside pockets pulling out a pair of white gloves with strange, ancient golden runes and symbols upon it. The youth slipped these gloves over his hands before pulling off a small pouch from his black belt. Inside the brown leather pouch was what he sought. His gloved hands going inside of it to pull out powdered aconit tue loup , wolf\'sbane.
He smeared it upon the door in the shape of a \"t\". He then commanded in a powerful voice of quiet authority, \"Open.\"
The iron door creaked as it reluctantly moved at the command of the youth before them. The golden eyed man closed up the strings of the pouch and placed it once more upon his belt, however, for now he kept his gloves on. He stepped into the courtyard of the massive castle. Destroyed marble statues lined the cobble stoned pathway up towards the stronghold\'s main entrance. If there were a noble here then what he was doing was truly foolish, to enter a vampire\'s castle by the main gates was always very stupid. But the youth was still not sure of a nobleman\'s presence in this castle. Anyone intelligent enough could learn to control the defenses of a Nobleman\'s castle.
A wind whispered passed his ear, \"Who are you to dare enter the Baron Von Kent\'s Citadel?\" Then he realized that it was not the wind at all. A woman with long black hair had run passed him so fast that he hadn\'t noticed her until she had stopped. Her body almost nude if not for the bits of cloth that covered her breasts and her nether regions.
He spoke in a calm voice before the strange woman with long black hair, \"I am Mordecai Lee, Demon Hunter.\"
She laughed softly, the sound of it like tiny bells ringing. \"It has been a good decade since we have had to deal with one of your kind. And such pretty golden eyes. It would be a shame to kill such a beautiful figure. But since you have tresspassed upon my lord\'s property I have no other options.\"

The woman whom moved faster then eye sprang towards him. Mordecai\'s white gloved hand quickly sprang up as soon as he saw her lunge towards him. His hand grabbed hold of her arm and flung her into a wall as fast as though he were moving in the same speed as the fast moving woman. A normal human wouldn\'t have been able to see the grab nor her springing forward. They would only see a blur of motion and then the fast woman laying with blood leaking from her head as she hit the wall.

He continued to make his way towards the main entrance of the stronghold. The black towers casting dark shadows over him. He didn\'t look to the sky. Mordecai could tell merely by the shadows that he didn\'t have much time. Soon the sun would set and the Nobleman would raise up from his tombs. He had hoped to kill the vampire in his sleep if that was what he was dealign with. Some dark presence was moving against him. What it was, he was not sure. The journey to the castle on the hill from the village had taken far to long. And now he had encountered a woman whom had obviously been an experiment of the nobility. This was supposed to be a simple job. All the reports had suggested a bandit gang; but the village showed obvious signs that Nobility had once more taken up a presence here.

Mordecai climbed up the massive black stones that served as the stairs. The hunter looked at the heavy iron doors again. He pushed at them with all his weight behind it. The rusty doors creaked open slowly to reveal a cobweb filled corridor leading towards a large hall at the back. The golden eyed youth walked down the long corridor. His black leather boots leaving prints in the dust upon the floor. Gargoyle statues sitting on pillars lined the hall. Some of them toppled over and smashed. Small fragments of grey stone littering the pathway. There were signs of a battle here long ago. Tapesteries had been torn by the edges of swords. He could smell the death in this castle. A sinking and dark feeling coming over him. There were no windows in this long corridor of black stone. No torches lit his approach. Mordecai\'s only light stemmed from the opened door. Shadows crept and he thought he heard things moving in the darkness.

A long strip of shadow rushed out towards him from behind. Mordecai quickly turned on his heels feeling something instinctive reacting towards him. His long sword came out; severing the shadowy tentacle rushing towards him. It dissolved into the faded red carpet on the floor. Mordecai\'s golden eyes looked towards his flanks to see something pitch black hiding behind the shadows of the pillars in the corridor.

\"Shadow Ghoul.\" He idenitifed the creatue immidiately. He had come across them before. They were powerless during the daylight. It was during the day that the shadow ghouls hid in shadows; but at night they roamed in terror, feeding upon the flesh of others.

He couldn\'t allow himself to leave this creature behind him, not with nightfall so close. He flicked the black blood from the blade of his sword. Mordecai held it ready for a strike. He moved with calculated speed. His blade sinking deep into the shadow. Mordecai looked on terror as he saw the shadow caressing over his steel blade, the symbols engraved into the steel melting away in wisp of green mist.

The sun was quickly fading from the sky. The light within the corridor dimming to fast for the golden eyed mortal\'s tastes. He had to do this quickly. He focused all his power and the air around him. Perspiration beaded upon his brow as the area around himself and shadow grew hotter. His hands soon felt cold dampness upon him as the shadow tried to grasp onto him. Brilliant fire raced out from his hands. The shadow pulled back with an otherworldly shierk of agony. Bright green flames and violet smoke raised up from it\'s body. His burning black hands covering trying to doush the fire. A howl of rage and agony escaped the shadow ghouls\' smouldering throat as it leaped towards Mordecai.

Mordecai fell onto his back as his hands grabbed hold of the charging hell spawn. His feet kicking up into the air to hit it in the stomach, and send the burning shadow vaulting over him. Bright ashes landing upon his leather cloak and burned it. The hunter stood up and brushed the burning ashes from his blue cloak to see that only a scattering of dust remained of the shadow. Suddenly the doors slammed shut as the sun was almost completely gone now. Torches and candle sconces flashed with light all along the corridors. He could sense something dark coming towards him. It was a presence he knew well. He could barely move. His body rigid with fear. His legs at the moment refused to move forward. He knew now beyond doubt that these were not simply a gang of mutants and bandits. A vampire had reclaimed Castle Lynn for his or her own.

He stood there waiting for his fate. Mordecai did not tremble as he saw the figure moving through the now opening door of the main hall. A white cape swaying behind the platnium blond man. This was the vampire that had been stalking upon the villagers. There was no doubt in his mind as he saw the middle aged looking man in white approach him. Mordecai\'s golden eyes very faintly pulsated under the torch and candle light. His hands still holding onto his sword as he felt some force of will; trying to make him drop his own blade.

In a matter of seconds the vampire in the white suit stood directly before his face; passing through the cobwebs without even disturbing them. A faint smile upon his lips as well as Mordecai. His voice was cultured and urbane as he spoke to the hunter, \"It would seem I have an uninvited guest this evening. And a most rude one to have slain my remaining servants.\" His cold fingers of his left hand touched at Mordecai\'s face. The hunter did not flinch back from the nobleman\'s chilling touch. His own flesh growing slightly cold merely from the touch of the noble.

Mordecai never felt nor saw the hands move, yet his blue leather cloak had been casted away from his being to reveal the black leather, long sleeve shirt and black tight fitting pants he wore beneath it. A long trail of black hair cascaded down his back as the red bangs fall over his golden eyes; partially hiding them. The left hand trailed down from the hunter\'s cheek. A sharp fingernail barely touching his flesh as it traced down his neck to the jugular. Then it moved to rest at the center of his chest. A small smile still faintly evident on the vampire\'s lip. Still unable to move at the moment he remained in place.

The noble man took a step back then, \"So mortal, why have come to my new abode? Perhaps you seek employment or is it your own death?\" his voice sounded faintly amused at either prospect.

The golden eyed hunter remained silent. The hand of the immortal coming back up to grasp at his face. He could feel a chill going through his body as those ancient eyes locked with his own. He had only seen the direct gaze of a vampire while staking them through the heart as they slept in their crypts. This was the first time that he had not made it into the crypt before sunset. He had battled with them before in the crypt. But he had not encountered before a vampire of this strength that the aura froze him in place. The hand\'s grip upon his face tightened as he could see anger burning there at the thoughts that he saw in the hunter\'s eyes.

One gesture of the hand released and tossed Mordecai away from the immortal. The demon hunter fell through a large cobweb as dust stirred up from his landing hard on his posterior. He could feel the sticky strings entangled among his long black strands of hair. His golden eyes pulsated, and the webbing in his red bangs transformed into dust that fall to the already dust covered floor. Mordecai coughed at all the dust entering into his lungs.

A faint chuckle raised up from that poreclain white throat of the nobleman, \"The sign of a pure blood Wiccan, beyond doubt.\"

Mordecai found himself able to stand on his own two legs. The nobleman\'s aura had dimmed. His golden eyes locked with the dark blue eyes of the immortal before him. There seemed to be no life in those eyes. There was only hunger in their depths, a hunger for the feelings of life and longing that this man had lost upon becoming a nobleman.

Mordecai spoke at last; trying to understand the puzzle, \"You are not a pure blood noble, are you Baron Von Kent?\"

He sounded offended as he spoke, \"The audacity. You intrude upon my new home with intent upon taking my life, slaughter my servants and now dare to insult my lineage.\" the baron moved towards the golden eyed hunter with malicious thoughts clearly shinning in his sapphire eyes. \"Such things cannot go unpunished.\"

From his speech the knew the truth of his suspicions. The baron was not a pure blooded vampire. He was no doubt once mortal, and had been inducted into vampirehood by another. But whom the sire was, was not Mordecai\'s concern. He had been hired to deal with the new inhabitants of the old Lynn Caslte. Although he wasn\'t sure how he was going to handle such a strong willed nobleman; regardless of his low class standing among the Nobility.

His eyes were still locked with the vampire\'s as he felt the other\'s will trying to subdue his own. Mordecai fought back as he felt a fresh assault upon his mind. The golden eyed huntered mumbled a chant under his breath; trying to stave off the strong mental attacks. Once more sweat beaded upon his brow as he tried to concentrate. His eyes closed blocking their direct connection into each other\'s soul. He heard the sound of the other\'s white fabric as his right hand raised up and the words command from the immortal\'s lips, \"Sleep!\"

Mordecai fell to his knees. His body succumbing to the other\'s will for the moment. The last thing he remembered was falling to his knees and the other moving swiftly forward, and the very last thing he remembered was feeling those cold hands catching him up in their grasp.

His eyes opened. Mordecai found himself feeling very cold. His clothing had been taken from him in his torpor, and the cold metal chains bound his hands to the warm silken, crimson sheets caressed at his back. He tried to move. The chains of the shackles rattling.

Black and red hair cascaded over his eyes as he positioned himself into a sitting position. His legs crossed each other at the clicking sound of the brown door opening. The golden handle had turned and in strode the nobleman, nude. His long platnium blond hair was not braided as it had been earlier. He wore it loose now. There were several deep sword scars on the other\'s body. Wounds from his time as a human, Mordecai found himself thinking. He knew what was coming. His instincts told him the vampire would try to take him, and then drain him of his life force. Mordecai could not allow that to happen. His mind searched it\'s deep vaults for some spell to get him out of this.

The vampire raised up his delicate, slender sharp fingers, \"Do not bother struggling. There are runes upon the shackles. No Wiccan spell, nor mortal means can remove those bindings. Only I know their secrets. For I had them crafted for my pets.\"

Baron Von Kent moved towards the other. His body crawled up onto the massive bed. Yet the bed didn\'t make a single show of evidence that the other was upon it. There was not a wrinkle or fold in the sheets except from Mordecai himself. He gasped as the other\'s smooth, cold lips pressed against his own. He could smell the reek of blood upon this man. A man whom had stolen the life of many to continue his own petty self indulgences. Such creatures disgusted the Wiccan. The hands pressed on both sides of his face as he felt the immortal deepening the kiss. His mouth opening against his will to have felt that cold tongue in his own mouth. He felt the baron exploring every inch of his moist mouth, very slowly.

He pulled back and whispered in a voice more like molasses then honey, \"Such a beautiful warmth. Become my servant and pet, you shall become my servant. As such, you shall address me as Master Garret.\"

Mordecai did not speak to those words. His golden eyes glowing with hatred. It had been the Nobility that had created his kind, and caused them to be shunned by normal humans. And now it was the Nobility that was raping him. Mordecai then clicked as he remembered something that he had learned upon his own. Something he felt to weird to learn from his grandmother. He smiled as his eyes continued to pulsate their golden color.

His lips nibbled very gently upon the hunter\'s ears that he had just whispered in. His lips moving down from the ear; nibbling as it came to the neck. His cold tongue licking over the neck. A wide grin evident upon the vampire\'s face as he licked at the neck and moved over towards the front of the throat. His tongue licking upward and under the other\'s chin. The tongue of the noble licked up the chin and over Mordecai\'s lips before entering into the hunter\'s mouth.

When the other finally pulled away after six minutes of meticiliously feeling his inside of his mouth, Mordecai was panting heavily. His hands came up to the sides of the other\'s face. His fingers tracing runes upon the other. His own tongue then came out as he licked at the other\'s cheek, tracing the same runes their and empowering them. His only worry was that the vampire would notice his spell casting. It would be disasterious to his health if the immortal caught him during their sex casting a spell using their energies. His tongue licked down the vampire\'s cold, pale flesh. The other\'s own hands caressed at Mordecai\'s chest. The immortal\'s fingers playing with his nipples. The golden eyed youth let out a few moans of pain. His own tongue tracing and empowering the runes he placed on the other\'s flesh with his own spit.

He felt the vampire\'s hard shaft against his own leg. The other slide down his body leaving a trail of salvia from his tongue. The nobleman\'s hands took hold of Mordecai\'s slightly limp shaft. His tongue playing over the top of the shaft. Mordecai moaned in pleasure at feeling the cool wetness upon his shaft. His leg spasmed for a second. Mordecai found it hard to believe that his body was actually enjoying this ministrations by the immortal.

That spasm had caused the grin upon the vampire\'s lips to widen. He spoke with a pleasure in his voice, \"Soon enough. Perhaps I shall even one day allow you to join the ranks of noble society....provided you serve me well.\"

That thought almost made him lose his hard on he was getting and turn his stomach. Mordecai had no desire to become what he hated. He would kill himself if it came to that. But with fortune so far on his side. His plan would work out so far. All but the final spell rune had been placed upon the vampire. And the vampire was not aware of the glowing symbols upon his body. Garret appeared, as far as Mordecai could tell, far more interested in his own pleasures then worrying about a sneak attack from his Wiccan prey.

Mordecai gasped as he felt the platnium haired middle aged man finally take the head of his shaft into his mouth. The vampire\'s mouth suckled on that head. Mordecai continued to moan in pleasure against his own desires. His body was giving into the immortal. But he knew that the spell would not work fully if he did not. This was sex magic after all that he was casting. He would need the semen from his own body to cast the final part rune upon the other\'s body.

His lips let go of the hard shaft after he felt Mordecai\'s hips thrusting a couple times; trying to force the other to take him in fully. The baron denied him this. His hands moved from the shaft. His breath only very faintly showing any sign of exertion on his part in this act. Mordecai closed his eyes shut tightly as he felt the other\'s tongue licking at his hole. The noble\'s hands in the meanwhile held apart Mordecai\'s two butt cheeks. Sharp fingers stabbed slightly into flesh; scratching it and causing five tricklings of blood to flow from each side. His tongue licking at it as he repositioned the other to gain better access to both dripping blood and the mortal\'s hole. During all this Mordecai made only the faint sounds of pleasure. His mind not even registering such small wound as the scratches that the vampire had inflicted. They soon dried up since the fingers did not grip his bottom so hard as earlier.

The immortal continued to lick at that hole until Mordecai felt that the other\'s salvia dripping with it. The inside soaked with the slightly thicker then normal spit. He gave out a cry of pain as he felt the hard shaft thrust into his hole. His hands clunched at their palms. His teeth bit down hard on each other in pain at that first thrust into him.

He tried to reach his hands down to finish himself off, however the chains didn\'t allow him to go down that far. He could barely reach above his own navel. His shaft burned with desire to be released. The build having been created.

The vampire smiled catching the other\'s desire for release. His only words had been, \"Soon enough.\"

He started to steadily thrust into the hunter. His hands went once more to the other as he continued to thrust at more faster pace into the mortal. Mordecai did his best to try to block the pain. But he couldn\'t cast another spell until this one was completed first. He grinded his teeth as he tried to bare the pain. It hurt having something moving against his muscles inside his bottom. He was not used to things going up that area of his body.

Mordecai panted as he felt the pace on his shaft match the thrusting inside of him. He moaned as he felt the other finally release inside of him. His bottom released as the other let go. His butt once more felt warm, silken sheets upon it. He could feel the hands still upon his shaft; working. Preseed started to leak from it, and then finally he felt himself cum. The white liquid squirted from the tip of his shaft. Some of it landed upon his chest. Mordecai quickly reached towards it; getting enough that he needed upon his finger tips.

The baron lay down on top of him then. He smiled at the panting Wiccan, \"Nervous? I wonder why? Perhaps you have read my thoughts. You\'re blood is the best I have tasted. Perhaps I shall allow your continuance as a pet indeed.\' he looked deeply into those golden eyes, \'You should feel honored that I, a nobleman, would grant you such prestige to be my own personal pet.\"

His panting voice once more began muttering dark archaic words mixed with archaic holy words. Words that had been long lost to normal mortals.

The vampire frowned at the muttering words, \"What are you doing?\" The symbols on the body starting to burn with an eerie light. And where they burned the flesh transformed slowly into ashes. Then Mordecai\'s semem stained hand made a cross shaped symbol upon the other\'s forehead.

Baron Garret von Kent burning hands grasped onto Mordecai, \"Damn you!! What have you done, traitor!\"

His face was soon consuming with flames and turning to ashes. His fangs came towards the other only to fall to burnign ashes upon his flesh. Mordecai let out screams of pain as he felt the form burning on top of him. He shoved the figure of burning ashes off of him. The pile raised up barely holding a human form.

No longer was the voice cultured and urbane. It was now rasp and hoarse as it barely managed to speak, \"After all the nobility have given you. You still desire to destroy us. We took your kind\'s gift and enhanced it. And this is how you repay us.\"

He more glided then walked towards the Wiccan, demon hunter. The golden eyed youth raised up his hand. He chanted in that archaic language again. The same as the first spell he had used against the Gate leading into the citadel. A gale wind gathered around the hunter; protecting him from the advancing vampire. Then it shot forth. Ashes flew in all directions as the wind howled around the room. It shattered down the door into a spray of splinters. Mordecai had ordered the wind to scatter the ashes across the world; so it would not be so easy for this vampire\'s ressurection.

The bindings came free from his hands with the death of the vampire. He rubbed at his sore wrists. He would use some salves on his wrist and burns. Along with some magic he didn\'t think he had sustained much damage. However, as he stood up he found that his bottom felt rather sore. It hurt to walk as he searched the large room for his clothing. Finding his effects he once more donned them.

Mordecai walked down the dust covered corridors and halls of the castle. He didn\'t know enough about these castles to destroy it. He simply would let the villagers deal with the Castle. He had finished his contract. The people of the village were once more free from oppression and fear of Nobility stalking the night. He just hoped they\'d pay him the full amount. The door of that main corridor of the stronghold opened with a budge of his shoulders against it. Once outside he smiled. He looked at the dark sky. In several hours from now he knew dawn would come. No matter how dark it was he knew that eventually dawn came.

THE END????
