Those Three Words
I lie in bed at night and pray
About the day that you will say
Those three words I long to hear
Then I will no longer have to fear
I close my eyes and start to dream
Of the day we become a team
The day when you finally say
Those three words for you I pray
You take my hand and hold it tight
And tell me everything is alright
You say I will no longer have to fear
Of having to shed another tear
You say I love you
With all my might
For I will never let you
Out of my sight
Then I open my eyes
And begin to cry
For it was a dream
And now I want to scream
For it will never be
You and me
