Breaking Bonds
This poem is somewhat unorthodox and very morbid. I\'m posting it so that i can see what reaction I get.

Breaking Bonds

They say that familial bonds cannot be broken
For his blood is in my veins
But I refuse to be deterred from my task
My need to be free of his presence
But it is in my blood
So I will spill it
Such a pretty color
So deep and warm
They say I have his hair
So I will cut it
Scrape it all away
Until I reach the bone
They say I have his eyes
So I will remove them
Dig my nails in until they’re gone
Leaving me blind so I cannot see him
They say I am just like him
So I will remove myself
Plunging this blade into my chest
Until there is one less of him in the world
