The Legacy
To my children I leave
A legacy of destruction
A dying world
To our children we leave
A hopeless future
A future of pain and fear
Destroying the land
The air and the seas
Tearing the trees from the ground
The lives from the creatures
Slowly squeezing
All hope from the Earth
We leave our children nothing
Nothing to take pride in
Nothing but death
Our legacy to our children
Is wisdom beyond years
Stop the killing, save the Earth
Protect the seas
To give our future
Hope.
