\"Yuki! Yuki!\"
Riku had been running down the halls of Tokyo High for a while now and she was out of breath. She had to tell her best friend what she had just seen.
\"Dante... Tomochan... they\'re...\"
\'I\'ve been running to long...\'
Riku Hikari, now with her hands on her bent knees, was breathing hard. Her ashy blond hair, over her shoulders and her bangs over her aquamarine eyes. She was nosey, she knew it, but this was important.
\"They\'re what?\"
Yuki Shindo fixed her hazel eyes on her friend. She had long dark brown hair that reach down her back and unlike Riku, she was a calm, quiet person.
\'I hope nothing\'s wrong.\'
\"They\'re...\"
\"Riku?!\"
Riku looked up. She didn\'t know why she was surprised. Yuki and Dante were close and she was taking to long to talk. She knew Yuki was nervous, a look of dispear in her eyes...
\"They\'re... fighting.\"
\'There I said it!\'
\"No. He promised!\"
Yuki ran of before the blond could say anything. Riku hesitated, but eventually went after her.
\'Here we go again...\'

\"Had enough Tomochan?\"
\"You bastard...\" Tomochan wipped the blood of his lip. Dante was annoying him. Last time they had gotten into a fistfight, Dante had been holding back, but know it was like he was a different person. He wasn\'t just fighting back, he was going all out.
\'Why?\'
Dante grabed Tomochan by the collar and placed one arm on his neck, just above the collar bone, pushing Tomochan up against the wall and lifting him of the ground. He lifted his free arm, his hand curling into a fist.
\"This is the last time...\"
Tomochan closed his eyes, waiting for the hit. He knew Dante was upset, he had heard it in his voice. He saw it in his pircing eyes...
\"Dante!\"
Dante stopped. He knew who it was. He let go of Tomochan, who stumbled but landed on his feet. Dante didn\'t turn around, he couldn\'t. He just bowed his head, letting his dark brown, almost black hair fall over his light, hazel eyes.
\"Yuki...\"
A whisper. Tomochan had heard it. He was sure no one else had, especially not Yuki. He was more then positive now.
\'They\'re...\'
\"Dante... how could you?\" She had stopped running and was speaking in a calm but disapointed tone. Dante could feel her gaze on him, but he didn\'t move. Tomochan could sware Dante was scared, -- not that he had a reason to be -- meaning something was seriously wrong.
Yuki curled her hands into hard fists, trying to hold back her tears.
\"You promised me. You promised you wouldn\'t do this anymore. You promised!\"
Yuki was yelling now, the tears she\'d fought so hard to stop, streaming down her face.
Dante didn\'t move, he didn\'t even twitch. He only spoke one word, his tone calm, almost silent.
\"Gomen.\"
\"That\'s not enough!\"
She couldn\'t believe that between her heavy breathing and forceful sobs, she had been able to yell like that. Yuki knew Dante was being sincre, but she was still upset, too upset to care. Either way she had to calm down. She took a deep breath and started to speak in a softer voice.
\"I don\'t want to see you again, not for a while.\" It hurt her but she needed time, time to think. She turned her back on him. \"Don\'t come home.\"
Dante\'s eyes widened, but Yuki was right. It would be better if they spent time apart. It\'s not like he could argue anyway, Yuki had left. She was going to what Dante had called \'home\' for so long...
Tomocan had left right after Yuki, leaving Dante alone with is thoughts, but only one question ran through his mind: \'What happens now?\'

It had been a few hours since her encounter with Dante, but Yuki couldn\'t feel guiltier. She\'d just left him there and not to mention that she had told him not to come home tonight. He finally had a home and she took that away from him...
Her father had found him almost four years ago in a small village he had been passing by on a buisness trip. An old woman had told him that a twelve-year-old boy had been found covered in blood but with barely any wounds. Hikaru Shindo took pity on the poor child and brought him back to Tokyo, where Dante spent almost three months in a coma, which didn\'t help matters. Evenually he woke up and slowly his past began to unfold. The Shindos had found out his family name, Kururugi, and where he was from, but when they asked what had happened before he was found, he would always say he didn\'t remember.
\'He was lying.\' She smirked.
Yuki had always known. She could still remembered what had happened the day he woke up...

\"What really happened?\" Dante looked up at her with suprised expression on his face.Mr. Shindo had just left the hospital room and Yuki hadn\'t wasted anytime.
\"What?!\"
\"What happened, before you ended up in that village?\"
\"How can you ask me that! I told you I don\'t remember!\"
He was upset, but Yuki didn\'t care.
\"Lier.\"
\"Why would I--\"
\"You tell me.\"
Dante took a deep breath. He had to relax.
\"You really wanna know?\"
\"Of course!\" Yuki has excited. She\'d been wondering for so long and she was about to find out.
\"I... I killed her...\"
Yuki stepped away from him. The look in his eyes scared her, heck his words had scared her. \'There\'s no way...\'
\"...Who?\" She just had to know. She was so close to finding out what had happened...
\"M-my mother.\"
\"What?!\"
Yuki didn\'t even notice the tears streaming down his face. She was too surprised, too scared. She wanted to run. She wanted to get away from him. She wanted... to feel safe.
\"I...\" He couldn\'t tell her that, she wouldn\'t believe him. He looked her, speaking in a soft tone, even tough he was still sobbing. She didn\'t look at him back, she just couldn\'t.
\"Promise me somethng.\"
She was staring right at him, noticing the tears coming from his eyes. The look in his eyes had hit her hard. \'He... means it.\'
\"...Okay.\"
A smile came to his face, making Yuki\'s cheeks heat up. It just made her feel so warm to see him happy, but why? Did she like him?
\'He is cute.\'
\"Tha--\"
\"You have to promise me something first.\"
Yuki cut him off. She wanted, no needed something in return. She needed to feel safe.
\"Anything.\"
\"Don\'t... you know, again.\"
Dante just smiled, making Yuki blush, again.
\"Okay...I promise.\"

Yuki frowned. \'He promised!\' She turned of the light. She had to rest. She had to forget, but she couldn\'t stop thinking about him. She was just so worried...

Dante had been sitting on a bench in the park for while now. He\'d been repeating what had happened over and over in is head. He didn\'t understand. Then he remembered.
\'I promised!\'
He\'d figured that much, but the problem still was: \'What now?\'
He took out his wallet. After counting his money, he figured that he could one night in an inn, but he\'d have to go hungry, which was bad since he hadn\'t eaten anything lunch. Dante stood up, he had to figure something out.
\"I can help you.\"
Dante turned around. He couldn\'t believe his eyes. Standing a few feet from him was the sexiest woman--even if she didn\'t seem any older then he was--he had ever seen. She had long, pitch black hair that went down her back, to her thighs. Her eyes where an odd shade of blood red and seemed to reveal his very soul to her. Her clothes met her every curve and revealed enough to set his imagination off.
Dante shook his head. \'Focus.\'
\"What?\"
\"I saw what happened. I can help.\"
\"Why do you want to help me?\"
Even as sexy as she was, Dante knew he couldn\'t let his guard down. He didn\'t know her. He wouldn\'t, couldn\'t trust her.
\'She\'s just so damn... No!Focus!\'
\"I think you\'re cute.\"
A simple answer. Dante raised an eyebrow, so she continued.
\"I really want to help, okay? Don\'t worry... I don\'t bite.\"
She was talking in a smooth, seductive tone. She was trying to lure him.
\"Oh, really?\" A hint of sarcasim in his voice, he had an idea of what she was up to. She just nodded once. \"So, are you coming?\"

told you. oh, by the way, i\'m not japanese and i\'ve never been to japan -- even if i can speak it a bit -- so, my problem is obvious since the story takes place in tokyo... take a guess where i\'m from. smirk. i repeat: NO FLAMES!!!
