Life
As I live, I tell you now,
Except no life, only my death,
That is the truth, believe me now.
Who’s to say we will live to see tomorrow?
Surely not me, for I understand the feeling of death,
Go ahead and laugh, go ahead and say I don’t know what I’m talking about,
This is my poem; no it’s more than that,
This is my way of life, my truth, my understanding,
I tell you now, don’t except live to long,
Death can only be an hour away, as for me, who knows,
Maybe right now, as I swallow the pills,
And take the knife into my hand
All will soon turn dark,
As I fall into a pool of my own blood……..
