Gloria
I heard him hum a strang tune,
it linger in my soul.
He sat upon a old grave,
with stones of untold.
His hair was gray,
and eyes were blind,
yet he spoke,
\'Oh Oh Gloria.\'
I watched with awe and shure surpise,
as a angel came,
with golden hair
and glitten eyes,
her voice seemed untamed,
she waved her arms
and sang to low to make me want to hear,
just the man, with slinder grace, whisper to her ear,
\' Oh oh Gloria.\'
As shock I was,
I sat and stare,
as the angle danced,
her white dress flying in the air,
her face full of bless.
She hummed her tune and sang her song,
while the man grinned,
and yet with awe , All i could say, was what lingered in,
\'Oh oh Gloria.\'
But time came, all to soon,
and there the angel left,
all alone the man sat, with his trimbling clef.
He tried to stand, he tried to walk, yet his legs gave in.
So I ran to help him out, and this he what he said,
\'Oh oh Gloria.\'
I come back,
ever eve, back to this place,
where the grave stood once,
but twice, with a new face.
The cold wind blows and yet I laugh,
as I sit down,
and claps my hands and whisper out,
what the old man shout,
\'Oh oh Gloria.\'
it linger in my soul.
