And the Angels and the Heavens were awed
By the likeness of God and themselves and sang and gave praise.
Then, from man, God created woman;
And the Angels and the Heavens were awed
By the beauty that resembled themselves and sang and gave praise.
And from the descendants of Adam and Eve
Came the sons and daughters begotten from sin;
And a fraction of the angels fell upon the earth
And copulated and sinned with the daughters of man,
Thus falling into everlasting darkness…
