A dark past written
I am a scribe. My name is not important on the words I put down here. I am writting about an event that has forever changed this world. I am writting about the fall of a hero and the rise to what they are now. I will take you back now to several days before the event accually happened.
It was raining that day, much like it had been for the past 3 days. A group of adventures had wandered over from a far away land. They were in bad shape to say the best. There only front line warrior, Ericnox, had taken an arrow to the chest a few days ago. The wound refused to heal. He was the only one that knew about the wound, or so he though. The groups Archer, Faith, was out of arrows and even worse had a broken bow. The sorceress Silvia was out of magical power because of a mind numbing head ache from a mage battle she had fought with a great wizard. Our summoner, Leanna, was also suffering from the same problem but only this time from a blow to the head. The cleric Argnarg could still focus his magic but had used most of it up to make sure the theif wouldn\'t die from internal bleeding. The theif Nadine had a broken leg from a massive dark energy and force spell. They all were in bad shape. Ericnox had carried Nadine most of the way here and had switched for only about a mile so he could catch his breath.
Ericnox pounded on the door of the Rusty Hook Inn. After a moment a small man no taller the Ericnox\'s knee stood there. \"What can I do for you today?\" he asked cheerfully. He looked at the wet and tired group and smiled to himself.
\"We need a few days rest and food. Do you have atleast three open rooms?\" Ericnox asked kindly. He could feel the blood starting to trickle into his pressure bandage. Now is when he started to get nervious.
\"Ahh yes sir we do. Our last three room though are expensive sir. 10 gold each per night.\" the man smiled and looked at Ericnox. Ericnox mearly handed Nadine to Argnarg and pulled out 9 platinium coins and dropped then on the table. The man looked at them stunned and slightly confused.
\"That should play for three days of use of those rooms. I would like our keys now.\" Ericnox said with a cold, flat voice. This voice sent shivers up the mans spine. How a holy warrior of the church could do this he didn\'t know or want to ask. Ericnox held out his hand and 6 gold keys were handed to him.
\"Who is sleeping were the nights we are here?\" Leanna asked. \"I personally wouldn\'t mind staying with Faith to help her with her bow, and i think Argnarg and Nadine should stay together as well so he can watch her.\" she said with a smile. Leanna was a very intellegent woman. She could think her way out of more things than Ericnox could slash his way out of.
\"Sounds good to me.\" Silvia said in agreement. The rest of the group merely nodded there heads waited.
Ericnox handed out the keys and made sure everyone went ot there rooms before he opened his and Silvia\'s room. The had to walk up a flight of carved oak stairs with plenty of murials on the walls. The murials depicted many war that had been fought by this small town. Ericnox ignored them knowing he was going to slowly bleed to death if he didn\'t hurry. He got to his room and opened the door. The room was magnificant. Nothing like it had seen before. The walls were covered with painting and carvings. The bed was large and made to fit several people. Ericnox closed the door after Silvia walked in and begain to take off his armor.
\"Are you bleeding again Ericnox?\" Silvia asked without turning around. Ericnox looked at her as he got off his chest plate.
\"How do you know about that?\" He asked as he removed his shoulder and upper arm armor. He looked at her for several moments before she finally turned around.
\"Of couse I know. I saw you get hit, and I\'ve seen you changing the bandage at night. You can\'t hide anything from me. You know I will find out sooner or later.\" she said as she walked up to him.
She begain removing the armor on his lower body to help hurry the process. Full combat feild plate male took a while to get on and off. She removed his shirt and laid him on the bed. She grabbed his feild aid kit and begain to dress the wound. She wasn\'t going to let it get infected but she wanted to make sure it would heal well and soon.
