Summary: Kyle blind and hardheaded falls right into a friendship with a rather interesting Greek boy, Diameu Alexander. But sadly Kyle\'s sister, Ashton, and her hidden secrets could very well endanger them all.

Alright, so this is gonna be something new for me. I might be a bit slow at updating and I apologize about that. Now lets see if I can manage to start it decently! Hehehe

****
It was the same thing every other Wednesday. Food shopping followed by a boring lunch. But, this Wednesday Ashton had decided to make him wait even longer to return to their so-called humble abode. Dress shopping! What man would want to accompany anyone while they shopped for a dress? Which was why Kyle was stumbling his way down a sidewalk in New York City. which is why he was also reciting every word known to all the sailors of the sea. Nice dirty words. The city not only smelled like car exhaust and garbage but was also covered in it, leaving nowhere for him to walk except into it. His wonderful luck is what brought him hitting rock bottom. Literally that is. Kyle\'s shins had come into contact with a rather loud sounding garbage can and caused his own balance as well as that of the can to be knocked off, sending him and the trash into a heap on the ground.

\"Having fun down there?\" Came a rather calm male voice from somewhere above. This only added to his already dark mood.

\"Does it look like I\'m having fucking fun you damn dumb ass?\"

\"Ah, not only do you lay with trash but you talk it too!\"

\"Jack ass!\" And with his wonderful comeback hanging in the air he forced himself to his feet, not once realizing that the other male had come towards him with a point. It had been to help him up. But Kyle had not seen the hand that had been offered to help him up; then again he\'d not seen anything in a rather long time...

\"Couldn\'t even consider me a thorough bred horse of some sort? Dear me! And here I thought you were kind.\" It was like the other male’s voice just kept going on and on! But this gave him a sort of advantage; it told him where he was, and knowing this he sent his fist flying right for where he\'d guessed the other man’s face to be. Kyle was wrong. Dead wrong. His knuckles made contact with a rather solid and scratchy surface, one that made the sickening crunching sounds of his own bones all the more painful. \"Ack! Where you aiming that at me? I dare say it wasn\'t worth it!\" But Kyle didn\'t hear a word the man had to say he, too busy re-reciting those vulgar words and shaking his fist in a manner commonly described as foolish.

The man decided to take a step back and look over the, well, dancing man. Dancing in the sense of pain anyway. It was kind of cute the way his long black hair swayed about and his eyes. From where he stood they looked very blue, seemed to be ablaze with a sort of internal fire. And yet, it was almost like the other ignored him, as if he wasn\'t really seeing him there. It sort of annoyed him. However, finally the sounds of the other man\'s howls caused him to try to grab out and latch a hand onto his shoulder \"Hey calm down will you? Did you really hurt yourself that bad?\"

\"Damn it fuck off! Why haven\'t you left yet?!” Kyle didn\'t like the hand on his shoulder or the pure concern he found coming from that young voice. It only caused him more discomfort. He didn\'t even know him and he already was being pitied. Would he never escape the pity of others?

\"Look I think I should take you to the hospital. You may have broken something when you hit the wall.\"

\"I hate hospitals. Get your hand off me!\"

\"If you don\'t go willingly I will pick you up and carry you there and, damn it, why don’t you try looking at me when you refuse me? Might make it a little bit more of a true answer.\"

\"Oh, I\'m sorry that I\'m blind, asshole! Is this better? Am I looking you straight in the eye now?\" It seemed as if for the moment the pain in Kyle\'s hand was forgotten...simply over taken by another pain. The pain of loosing his sight...

\"I-I am sorry. I really am. I didn\'t know. Please allow me to take you to the hospital. \" Kyle simply grunted in return. Oh, why the hell not. His sister would drag him there even if this kid didn\'t. \"I\'ll take that sound to be a yes. Now what is your name? Mine is Alexander.\"

___________

\"Kyle! Why, it has only been a week since you last came to the ER for your stitches. What happened this time?\" The voice was one of those that no matter how many times you hear it, you still cringe at the high pitch squeak that accompanied it. The nurse at the front desk of the ER knew Kyle too well, and even worse she adored him to the point of a worrying mother hen that unknowingly tried to suffocate a poor baby bird. It was always the same thing. He would come in, she would squawk, he would growl, she would chastise him for yet another misfortune and he would be handed over to some new doctor who would poke and prod at him.

\"Why Ma\'am allow me to expl-\"

\"No, allow me considering it is my hand and only your fault. Nurse Abigail I seemed to have missed this asshole here\'s face and managed to make a nice collision with a wall. Think I might have broken something.\" Abigail simply shook her head at the two and clucked her tongue muttering something about \'boys and their stupidity.\' She pulled a folder from under the desk she sat at, a rather thick folder that looked about ready to burst, and held it out towards Alex.

\"Take him and this back to room four. Since the folder won\'t fit in the slot, just set it on the counter in the room. One of these days Kyle, you\'ll learn to be more careful! And where is your sister? I have that camera for her.\"

\"She has better things to do than sit around here? I don\'t know where that pip squeak is. Geeze, I don\'t keep her on a leash. \"

\"No, but it looks like she should keep you on one\"

\"Aren\'t you supposed to be a nurse not a counselor?\"

\"For you darlin\' I am everything.\" Chuckling Abigail stood and pressed the button to allow the two boys through the door to the rooms. \"Have a good day Kyle and make sure you say bye on the way out. I might give you a cookie\"

\"Oh joy! Kyle want a cookie? What am I a two year old?\"

\"You sure act like one.\" that time the comment came from Alex as he pulled Kyle through the door and towards the appointed room. He was grinning and was even more amused to find Kyle must be known well here seeing that the folder he held belonged to Kyle and Kyle alone. Looks like his days were going to become just a little bit more interesting because...he planned to stick around for a while.
