The Nur'zian Male

On the planet of Nur\'z in the near the complex of K\'ra where the humans came to visit. The sky was a perfect azure blue, the beach lilac and the sea washed the shore in waves of pale green. Nur\'z had fast become a favourite destination of the human planets but few were allowed to come as some of the planet was culturally against the humans coming and corrupting their young.

Chris was relaxing. He had been given this holiday by his company because of the prosperous year they had enjoyed and also, Chris suspected, because the psyches had told them too. A shadow fell over Chris, looking over his shoulder he saw Lput, one of the locals from a village somewhere near by. \"I hope you are well today Chris?\"
\"I am very well Lput.\"
\"We continue with our lessons?\"
\"Yes, we shall continue.\"
\"Good Chris. My skills in your language are growing. I have learned my friend Vpit some of the words.\" Chris smiled. He looked Lput over, he was a fine example of a Nur\'zian male, tanned, dark blue eyes, brown hair that came to shoulders and a small kilt which Chris could see that nothing was worn beneath as he knelt to sit beside him. \"Chris, I wish to ask you a question.\"
\"Yes Lput? What is your question?\"
\"Vpit told me that the people of your world have some mating ceremonies. Would you tell me about them as Vpit did not know much.\" Lput gave the impression that Vpit never knew much about anything. \"Very well but I shall have to explain some of my culture as well.\" Lput nodded and waited for Chris to continue. \"On my world there are many different types of mating but most start with a ceremony called a \'first date\' where the couple determine if they are suitable for each other. If this goes well the ceremony ends with a kiss.\" Lput looked puzzled for a few moments.
\"What is a \'kiss\'?\" he asked.
\"I do not know the Nur\'zian term for this word.\" Chris\'s Nur\'zian was limited as best.
\"Could you show me or would it be taboo?\" Chris smiled.
\"Not to me though some men of my culture would find it so.\"
\"Why Chris?\"
\"Because some men in my culture either do not approve or do not enjoy it.\" Lput nodded.
\"There are those in my village who would not approve of me speaking or learning from you.\" Lput sighed. \"I am glad you understand. I shall show you a kiss then.\" Chris leant toward Lput and chastely kissed his soft lips.
\"There, you have now been kissed.\" Lput put his finger to his lips.

\"So what else did Vpit mention of my culture.\" Chris asked.
\"Vpit told me that you produce children with one of each of your sex but also said that she had been told that people of the same sex have relationships.\" Chris thought carefully before answering.
\"I am one of those that Vpit told you of. I enjoy relationships with my own sex.\" Before Lput could answer a stern looking Nur\'zian came from the trees at the beach edge and spoke. \"Lput, home.\"
\"Yes Mtan.\" Lput lowered his voice. \"I shall try to be here the same time tomorrow.\" Chris nodded and watched as Lput walked up to Mtan who swiftly starting speaking to him, Chris got the impression that he was being told off.
