Prologue
"Tammy?"
Tamara bit her lip and looked down into the face of the girl who's shoulders her arms were around. "It's alright, Lil. We'll…find someplace…I've got some money, and I can get a job…" How could Mom do this to me? So much for a mother's unconditional love…God I've got to find a job somehow…Her brow furrowed in concern and stress as she felt Lilly shiver against her with a tiny cough.
Those months of being shunned by all followed by months on the streets had broken the older girl to the point where Tamara almost hadn't recognized her when she found her. Lilly used to be so strong; always pushing her own problems to the back to make room for those who needed her, and especially for Tamara, always dragging herself out of bed even when close to fainting, just so she wouldn't miss a single day of school…Tamara pressed her lips against Lilly's forehead, half to comfort Lilly and half to stop herself from crying.
Lilly clutched at Tamara's arm. "Don't cry, Tammy," she said hoarsely, sensing the younger's distress. "Please don't cry, we'll get through this as long as we're together. I'll help somehow."
Tamara nearly did cry at Lilly's words. Even as sick as she is, she's still worried more for me than herself…Oh Lilly, why does this have to happen to you? Why couldn't we just be happy together, for you to smile the way you used to? But she knew the answer to those questions, she knew why they had just been kicked out on the streets with nowhere to go and no one to help them but each other.
It was because their families hated homosexuals.
And it was because they were lovers.

23 January 2009 update:
This is a really, really, really old story...o_O Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to it (three years! wow ^^'') but I kind of lost my password and forgot which email I'd had this under. XD Plus, I kind of started it when I was about sixteen and they didn't have that electronic signature page up and I mean, come on, everybody clicks yes even if they're not eighteen. XD But I'm over eighteen now, so I's back. <3
I've changed the girl's names, and the way I'd originally had this planned out has changed, but there's still hot lesbian action in store. Plus I've improved my writing, read/watched a lot more stuff, and had my own experiences with sex, so I think you'll be glad I waited this long to write the damn thing. :3
I realize the title's bad...I'll change it later if I can think of one. o.o
