Chapter 1
Chapter 1
Kihara woke up at the sound of her alarm, sighing deeply the brown heaed girl turned it off, before getting up. Kihara strech her sore muscle and made her way to the bathroom. She stripped from her pj which consisted of realy short shorts and a tight tank top and turned the hot water on, making sure it wasn’t too hot, the teen jumped into the shower. After what seemed like an eternity, she turned the water off and grabbed a towel from the counter. She wrapped it around her body before walking out of the shower and making her way back to her room. The girl brushed her hair straight before taking the blow dryer, blow drying her hair making sure the were straight. She then grabbed her clothes to get dressed as fast as she could.
A pair of low rise jeans and a tight spaghetti strap tank top was usually what she wore. Kihara was not the kind of girl every one wanted to be, she wasn\'t the type of girl you could call popular either, but she didn\'t care. She wanted to be herself and her friends admired her for that. She never cared what people thought of her, at least everyone except for Jesse, She hated to admit it, because she hated him and they were always getting into fights, but everytime he called her something, it always got to her no matter how hard she tried to deny it.
She put her long brown hair up in a pony tail before making her way down stairs.
\"Hey Kihara,\" Someone called from the kitchen. \'How could she know I was up?\' Kihara thought as she walked in to find her younger sister, Katie sitting at the table with her brother Jacob, trying to stop him from throwing food at her. Katie was 15 yet she sometimes acted like the older one, which most often got on Kihara\'s last nerves. She was perfect to the eyes of their mother, who would always tell Kihara to take example on her younger sister, find the mistake in that. Isn\'t the younger one suppose to take example on the older one? Not in this house, Kihara often felt like a burden to her family, she also used to feel like she was never good enough... Fortunately for her, she had stop thinking that about 2 years ago and had decided on living her life the way she wanted, which of course caused some chaos in the house.
\"Don\'t forget to eat,\" Katie said again bringing Kihara back to reality.
\"Katie I’m old enough to know what I had to do,\" The onlder teen snapped at her as she grabbed the cereal box and pouring it into a bowl that Katie got out on the counter.
\"Then you should’ve have also known that mom let you in charge and that the house looks like a zoo,\" she said again.
\"Fuck Katie leave me alone if you don’t like it then clean the damn house yourself,\" Kihara sighed \"I’m out of here,\" she added as she slipped into a pair of sneakers, left by the door, she grabbed her book bag and her purse from the couch where she had left them the previous day after she got home from school.
\"Wait Ki what about Jacob?\" Katie asked as she looked up from him.
Kihara sighed and turning around she took the boy from the chair where he sat and grabbed his shoes, helping him put them on. She took his hand and lead him to the car that had just stopped in front of the house. After sitting the kid in the back seat, Kihara slipped in the passenger seat next to her friend Fay.
\"Again?\"
\"Yeah sorry Fay but it’s only temporary\"
\"Alright,\" she said with a sigh, as they left for school.
\"I’ll meet you and Nicole in a second I gotta go to the office first.\" Kihara said getting Jacob out of the back seat. She hated having to bring him to school but last night the babysitter had called in saying she couldn’t baby-sit the boy today. With a long sigh Kihara walked to the office.
\"Hey Ki, hey Jacob\" The secretary said smiling.
\"Hi Marcy mind keeping an eye on him? My mom is still out of town n the babysitter can’t take him,\" The brown-headed teen said hoping she’d say yes.
\"Of course you know I love the kid,\" She said talking Jacob, who smiled like she had just given him a piece of cake, in her arms.
\"Thanks Marcy I owe you one,\" Kihara said leaving the office. She let out a sigh of relief and made her way to her locker. \'I have no idea what I’m going to do with that kid seriously, I can’t wait till he grows up to…\' She thought but was brought back to reality when she collapsed against a hard chest causing her to fall backward on the floor. She looked up to see Jesse anger filling his eyes.
\"Watch where you’re going bitch,\" He snapped walking away. \'Gosh did I hate that boy, he always think he is better then everyone just because he is popular, but god is he just such as jerk. A cold hearted arrogant jerk.\' Kihara thought as she got up and brushed the dirt off her pants and left. Unfortunately for her he was Fay’s brother, it however didn\'t keep her from fighting with him in front of her.
Knowing she was still early, instead of making her way to her locker like she had told Fay, she made her way outside the school to the backyard, and to the farthest tree, barely no one ever went there, and Kihara could be alone to think, something she loved to do lately. She climbed in the tree and sat on the lowest branch staring at people as they gathered around the school yard, or walked inside.
Unfortunately she couldn’t be alone for long around here since mher friends knew she liked coming here.
\"Kihara get down from there right now!\" Fay yelled at her from the bottom of the tree. Kihara sigh as she looked down and jumped off the branch she was sitting on. \"What’s the reason?\"
Kihara didn\'t answered, she put on her best smile before walking away, not wanting to tell her the real reason and also hoping she’d stop asking question but that was just too much to ask.
\"Kih I know something happened\"
\"And you know perfectly well who cause this something to happen its always the same fucking person,\" Kihara snapped not thinking about what she said.
\"So it’s still about him? Gosh Kihara you know my brother’s a jerk… don’t let him get to you… now come on let’s get to class,\" Fay said as she grabbed Kihara\'s arm pulling her towards the school.
\'Don\'t let him get to you... easier said then done\' Kihara thought again as she followed her friend back inside.
They made their way inside and walk to their class, which was English and boy did Kihara hated that class mainly because Jesse was in it. Kihara walk in the class and sat in her seat which unfortunately for her was in front of Jesse’s, and waited for the teacher.
\"Alright class settle down, as most of you know already each year our class go on a one week trip, to where the students wants to, if we can afford it, so today I will take the suggestion and we will have a vote on where we will go. Any question? No Alright then any suggestion?\" Mr Chen our teacher asked. He was in Kihara\'s opinion the best teacher they had not saying that he was also by far the best looking one.
Many suggestion were said but most of them needed a lot of money. That’s when it shot her,
\"What about a camping trip?\" she asked, Nicole and her had been talking once about going on a camping trip with the school, at the time she didn’t think it would be that good of an idea but it didn’t cost too much and they could be having lots of fun.
\"No one cares about a camping trip,\" Jesse said under his breath from behind her. She turned around so she was facing him.
\"An no one cares about what you think Stevenson,\" Kihara snapped.
\"Alright… Alright any other suggestion?\" Ms Chen waited for a while but no one said anything. \"Ok then let’s vote,\"
The votes took about 20 minutes, and it was really boring for most of them, always having ties. In the end the camping trip won with the most votes. Some people whined not wanting to go. But then again none of the votes pleased everyone. At the end of the class they were told that the trip would take place the following week and that they would have the permission forms by the next day.
\"That’s a great idea Ki but I thought you didn’t like the idea when I told you about it last time,\" Nicole said laughing as the bell rang.
\"I know Nic but it’s the only one that wont cost much,\" Kihara said as they make their way out of the class.
\"Yea Kihara’s right, plus it will be fun being with boys in the woods\" Fay added with a dreamy grin plastered on her face.
\"Sure Fay that\'s all you think about,\" Nicole said laughing
\"Hey can\'t blame me,\" Fay added as they made their way to their lockers.
\"I hate the idea,\" They heard from behind, Kihara shuddered at the voice. \'Is he always in my way or is it just me?\' She turned around ready to snap at him but Nicole beat her to it.
\"We don’t care if you like it or not,\"
\"Yeah Jesse you don’t have to come if you don’t want to,\" Fay added
\"And miss a chance to see hot girls in bathing suit and short shorts? No I think I’ll get use to the idea,\" he said pushing Kihara out of his way. \"I think I told you to watch out didn’t I?\"
The girls had to hold her from jumping on him and beating the living shit out of him, \'who does he think, he is treating me like shit?\' Kihara just wanted to slap that fucking grin off his face. She grabbed her book and slammed the door shut as she made her way to her next class leaving 2 confused girl behind her.
The girl quickly caught up to her and stared at her with grins on their face.

\"Nothing\" They said giving her their innocent smile, a smile that meant that it was something.

\"Why do you 2 always act this way?\" Fay asked still with the smile on her face.
\"What do you mean he’s the one treating me like fucking shit\" Kihara snapped walking in the class.
\"Whatever you say,\" Nicole added laughing. Kihara shrugged it off but the thought still didn’t leave her, \'why was I acting this way? I was only playing his little game?\'
