Anthony walks into his bathroom. And there is a gun in his left hand. He stands in the darkness in front of the mirror. He sets the gun down and turns on the light. He stands their with his head down and begins to cry. The image in the mirror lifts its head up and looks at the gun.
"What is it that you think you're doing?"
Anthony wipes the tears from his eyes and picks the gun back up.
"What do you mean?"
The image in the mirror puts his hands on the bathroom counter and leans against it. He tilts his head to the side and points to the gun.
"With you're life, what is it that you think you're doing with your life?"
Anthony looks at the gun and puts it against the side of his head.
"I am just trying to live it."
The image stares at him for a moment and begins to laugh while pointing at the gun.
"That's not enough anymore, you know that don't you?"
Anthony begins to breathe harder and tears begin to stream down his face.
"Why isn't enough anymore?"
The image in the mirror shakes his head.
"It's not enough anymore for the same reasons its always been."
Anthony wipes the tears from his face and beats his fist against the counter.
"What reasons?!"
The image only smiles at him and shakes a finger at him.
"If you don't know the reasons why living without a having a life is not enough, then we have a lot of work to do."
Anthony brings the gun down from the side of his head and leans over the counter.
"Why can't you just leave me in peace?"
The image steps away from the mirror and leans against the wall.
"We have never known peace in our lives, so why should I give it to you?"
Anthony stares at the image at points the gun at him.
"I'm not you anymore!"
The image tilts his head back and closes his eyes.
"Aren't you? Aren't you that scared little boy hiding in the corner trying not to be noticed? Aren"˜t you the boy who tried to commit suicide and failed? Aren"˜t you the boy who gave up being a person who was in control of his life just because you meet someone you could open up to emotional!?"
Anthony drops the gun into the sink and falls onto his knees.
"I just want to be left alone."
The image pushes himself off the wall and walks over to the counter and leans forward to see Anthony.
"No you don't. You want all that you gave up so that you could be control by your emotions. Your pathetic."
Anthony lifts his head up and looks at the ceiling.
"Why am I pathetic? Because I have hope again?"
The image nods his head.
"Yes. Hope is for people who don't know what their doing with their lives. Hope is for people who are too weak to be in control of their lives."
Anthony falls back and lays on the floor.
"Go to hell"
The image puts his hand up to the mirror and closes his eyes.
"I am in hell. Having to watch you be this emotional pathetic person who wants only to be loved. Love does not exist."
Anthony puts his hands over his eyes and runs them through his hair.
"Yes it does."
The image takes his hand off of the mirror and stares at the gun in the sink.
"You don't know that. You have never been loved by anyone other than our own mother."
Anthony sits up and smiles, but also cries at the same time.
"We have never been loved. We're the same person remember."
The image turns his back to Anthony.
"You're right we've never been loved, but we're not the same person."
Anthony sits up against the bathroom wall and begins to laugh.
"Now you're right. We're not the same person. I care about others, you only care about yourself."
The image also begins to laugh, turns and around and points to himself.
"And caring only about myself has kept us alive."
Anthony stops laughing and brings his knees to his chest.
"You loved Eileen. You cared about Eileen."
The image quickly wipes away tears from his face and shakes his head.
"And look what happened. Look at what happens every time we open our hearts."
Anthony stands up and picks the gun up from the sink.
"It comes back to haunt us."
The image breathes out and nods his head.
"Exactly"
Anthony stares at the gun in his hand.
"We're not worthy of love."
The image places his hand over his heart and grips his shirt.
"Your right we're not. And its about time you realized that."
Anthony drops his hands and the gun to his side.
"Emotions are for the weak."

"Yes."

"We are not weak."

"Not anymore."
