ODE TO DDR
I love DDR
The music
The lights
...the adrenaline.
My heart pounds to the beat
My body heats and perspires
My feet ache
I feel alive.
The music blares
Drowning out the rest of the world.
I\'m alone in the dance,
But I am not lonely,
I have the music.
The arrows move
My feet follow
Nothing else matters now
Fuck the people that stop and stare
This is my time.
Up, down, left, right,
Jump...
It feels wonderful
Better than fighting,
Better than sex.
I sigh as I go for another song
Rounds five, six, seven,
It doesn\'t matter
I\'m in Heaven.
I love my blades,
I love my life,
...I love DDR.
