A Love To End All Wars To Come
(Prologue)
The war has ragged on for centuries pasted, like the battle between night and day. Blood has been shed from both sides, and great sacrifices have been made. The conflict between Werewolf’s and Vampires all started with two beings. One, a vampire sought love in the wrong place, or so it seemed to others of her kind. She sought it in a werewolf for he was kind and caring. One night they were seen together under the moonlight and were brought into custody of the vampires. Both were slaughtered that very night for disregarding the forever known law.
‘None shall now or never love or cherish any one or thing of a different race ESPECIALLY A WEREWOLF!’
Thus the war between races began . . . . . . .
Chapter One Starts . . . . .
‘I’ve lived with the vampires almost all my life I was made one at a very young age. They told me they sought blood of an innocent child for that which I was. I became one of them in exchange for a family and everlasting life. Once I was one of them the war had reared its ugly head once again. They put me into battle hoping I was pure enough to take the werewolf’s on. To prove that I was, I am still alive to this day. Now we lay in waiting for the beasts to make the first move.’
“Amber, are you up here?” I turned from where I sat on the ledge of the roof to see Rain the leader of the vampires. Ever since I became a vampire he swore to take me as his bride but I would never agree to such an outrages request.
“Yes, I’m here Rain waiting to see if they strike the tower tonight” I said in a low tone so that no one else could hear me but him.
“Well you should get inside it’s almost daybreak.”
I turned my back facing him and replied sternly “I can take care of myself Rain I’m not a little girl anymore, I will retreat from my post when I’m ready.”
I could feel his eyes looking at me with intense rage. “If you don’t approve of my decision then you should let me go from the clan.” I said as I turned back to face him to see a look of disbelief grazing his features.
“Fine, stay up here for all I care but I will not let you go from this clan.” He hissed as he turned and walked back into the safety of our dwellings.
Just as I turned to look back at the tower a shadowy figure rushed across the road below. I jumped up from my post and ran after it my speed almost as fast as its. I lost sight of the figure about a mile or two down the road from my post. Once I returned to my post I started to see the sun rise over the horizon I rushed into the run down building for which the vampires called home. Ever since I became a vampire I haven’t seen a sunset or a sunrise, I still remember all the beautiful colors it possessed blue, red, violet, and sometimes orange. Oh how I longed to see just one more sunset.
“I see you’ve finally decided to come in Amber.” Rain remarked after my rushed entry. I just ignored him and walked off to my room on the top floor to the right.
